I love this fragrance, and yet Aveda discontinued it.I have a tiny bit left, and wonder if I should use it up before it goes off or save it like a treasure. I wish they would stop discontinuing products. You fall in love and then its yanked away. Life does this enough as it is!

Joshua Tree has a classic Aveda "spa" smell which can be just the ticket after a taxing day. It is an easy-on-the-wallet light aromatic perfume with dry (as opposed to sweet) citrus and herbal notes. Since I can't help but know that Joshua Tree itself is located somewhere in the California desert, I've been asking myself if this fragrance suits its name. And, yes, it does. Joshua Tree is likely to appeal to a number of perfume lovers: those whose goal is to smell "clean", those those want to "relax" and those who want something fresh, unisex and unique.

Here are the notes: neroli, bergamot, petitgrain, jasmine and vanilla.

This is the Desert in Bloom with endless blue skies followed by star saturated nights filled with rare floral scents that come once a year.
It is Joshua Tree essence in a glass vial. Aveda has captured the sweet clarity of the California desert, for which I am grateful. This fragrance recreates spiritual journey out west.

Fresh, green, aromatic fragrance of the Joshua tree (flower?). The real thing supposedly emits its fragrance only at night. I usually don't like green fragrances this but one has a unique, dry and almost citrusy quality about it. Lovely, yet discontinued.

fresh and green, not sure what words i could use to paint a picture of this aroma; tangy not bitter maybe like the desert in the morning before the sun has actually risen but is behind the mountains. quite cool and full of hope

Everything cosmetic kitten said. I bought the oil and I am in LOVE with it. Very true neroli essential oil fragrance with a little something, something going on. I find this scent very uplifting. My husband also loves it on me -- and that's a good thing because we don't always agree.

I'm so shocked this hasn't been reviewed! Joshua Tree is captivating. This is very close to a neroli essential oil but just with a touch more of an fruity effect. Very sweet but in an true-to-nature way. Delicately floral.
