I love this product! My dermatologist recommended it as my daytime moisturizer. I'm really prone to breakouts while also having dry areas on my skin--particularly around the eyes. This does a great job of evening out the texture of my skin and leaving a nice, smooth surface for makeup. It leaves a bit of a whitish cast when you first put it on, but that disappears in a minute or so. However, I am caucasian and I can't say for sure how it would act on darker skin tones. I do wish that it had a higher spf than 20, but I use this every day during the winter months, then switch to a higher spf in the summer. I also think it's way too expensive-- around $30 for 2 oz!! When I need a replacement, I usually do a google search and buy it from the cheapest place. I just got some yesterday for $20.

i have used this twice and i am not sure if it is breaking me out or not because i am hormonal right now also. will keep trying. but initial use, went on smoothly and absorbed very quickly. did leave a slighty "dewy" feel to my skin and i guess thats better than leaving it feeling dry? i have oily skin so i was not quite liking that part-but will update. $36.00 for a 3 oz tube. great packaging-it use to come in a jar but not comes in a upside down tube with that suction like dispenser. very creamy "dry" texture. not drippy at all. will update!
UPDATE 02/01/09: ok so it's great. sunscreen and moisturizer in one! i just squirt out a not even dime size amount and it covers my whole face. doesnt break me out. will repurchase!

Really loved this-used after my Vitalize peel. Not irritating, non-comedogenic and did a really good job at soothing the skin as well. Also, it's an organic sunscreen, so that is positive.

I just love this sunscreen. I went to a laser skin care specialist for my rosacea and she gave me a sample of this after my treatment. It is recommended for acne prone sensitive skin. I have not broken out with it and after wearing (under my normal foundation) my mom said my complexion looked fresh and young, many years younger and I'm only 31. It has not made me break out at all. I use this along with the SkinMedical sensitive skin cleanser and no breakouts and my skin is calmer. It has spf 20 and is probably good for oily skin as well since it is not that moisturizing. I do just use this though under my foundation and it's enough. It's fragrance free which I love.

Tried this sunscreen for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately it
broke me out. Too bad, because I really liked the way it applied
and that it wasn't drying like other sunscreens.

I've used this product for a couple of years now......It was recommended by the
girl who does my facials.
It's OK but you have to keep reapplying it and the cost is high so you don't want to be doing that all the time. I recently tried DHC White sunscreen and highly recommend it. It's about the same price and you have to order it online but it's great....one application takes care of most of the day. It is very matte and looks pretty when it's applied. A little blush takes care of the "white cast." I would not recommend this for dark=skinned girls or ones with very dry skin.
For them, I would recommend the Skin Medica.

This is a wonderful sunscreen! I get this product from my dermatologist and I have been using it with great results for over a year. I have dry, sensitive acne prone skin. This SPF does not irritate my skin at all. Also, it does not break me out! I love the creamy consisitancy of this SPF. I use it in the mornings and typically do not need an additional moisturizer (as this product provides enough moisture for my skin, except for the winter if I am super-dry). Also, according to my derm, it contains antioxidants so my skin is getting antioxidant benefit without having to add an addtional serum. It comes in a hard clear plastic tub (I do wish it came in a pump). I highly recommend this product! HG item for me!
