I am really surprised at the bad reviews for this lipstick. I have three of them and I think they are great. I have Rose drape',which is a shimmery pink; Terre de feu, which is a rich matte red; and Gold & Wine bicolor, which is a shimmery gold and a more matte wine. It is my favorite, because I can create different colors by using more or less of the two colors.
I also like the powder smell. continued >>

The colours looked pretty cool on the pics but my shade noisette grille doesn't work for me.Absolutely not the colour I had expected(looks like brownish dirt)and too heavily perfumed-like many Agnes B.products.

I finally purchased 'Coral' after staring at it forever...I was afraid it would end up like a couple of my other shades and be wayyyy to sheer but I finally broke down and bought it and it is gorg. It is sheer but not so much that you can't tell it is coral, it is a warm peach shade. Very pleased with this shade.

I really like these little lipsticks. I actually don't mind the smell and find they go on quite smooth. Staying power is not great and the colors are not accurately depicted in the catalog but the colors I have ordered have worked well for me. Love the packaging!

I must be in the minority, because I like this. The scent is powdery, and while it is noticeable at first, it dissipates once it's applied. These are a great value when you catch one of CCB Paris' sales - they come in some unique, pretty colors & are as good quality-wise as most. I have a sheer, shimmery plum that's been discontinued, & I wish I had bought a couple more tubes. continued >>

Great texture, great colors, great price, great packaging, terrible smell. For me it's worth buying despite the indelible smell, but I might be in the minority.

I recently tried another colour of this in Rich Hazelnut, I swapped for it after seeing it on the model in the catalog. In the catalog it looked like a dark rich creamy brown with no shimmer. Of course thats what I was expecting. I am extremely disappointed- this is a SHEER brown, not at all what I was looking for...

I have so far purchased two tubes of rouge b. lipstick. It comes ina tiny silver tube and smells like baby powder. I have tried Rich Mocha a shimmery dark brown and Grape which was to sheer for my liking. They wear wonderfully and are moisturizing. A wonderful lipstick in my opinion. However for $12.00 I wouldn't purchase, I only buy during sales.

I don't know if I am referring to the same lippie that everyone else here is talking about, but the one I have is a lipstick like the Loreal colour endure in a slimline tube. The texture is indelible sort of. Its dry, its really a bland lipstick.

My favorite of these lipsticks are the sheer "transparent" shades. The texture is great ... they are incredibly smooth and not the least bit drying. The smell is odd - kind of a weird baby powder scent. It doesn't bother me too much, but if you don't like scented lippies, you won't be able to stand these. I wish they were longer lasting, but overall I am happy with them.

Great colors, moisture, and wear. Awful scent. Worth the price on sale.

I was so disappointed with this lippie! They look so nice on pics! The texture was bad (too soft), did not smell good either and colors were nothing like the pics. I tried 4 and not one suited me :o(

I bought the beige metallic pink for its beautiful color, but found it dry. I would buy it again if it was more moisturizing.

-rouge b lipstick-
Brand: Agnes B.
Color: Transparent Beige
Price: $10 [but I got it for significantly less as part of a promotional offer]
The cute silver tube provides a nice minimilist package, but the product itself wasn't very pleasing. The beige color was nice [sort of an apricot beige] but coverage was very flimsy compared to the cakey feel of the lipstick. The lipstick had an unpleasant scent to it like baby powder gone bad or old foundation. continued >>
