I looooove this blush so much! I've been using this every day since the day I received it in the mail. I have to disagree with the user below who stated that it's too similar to Pink Tutu. Pink Tutu is more of a pinkish, peach coral. Sweet Surrender is a medium bright pink with slight coral undertones. If anything, I think this is very close to All Dolled Up, except All Dolled Up has a hint of lilac. As with all other Flirt blushes, this one is very pigmented that I prefer to use the included brush with it :)
I'm one of those people that absorb color and looks pale. I own many disappearing blushes from most of the high-end brands. This blush shows up and lasts! I love it. Yes, I can see how it could become clownish, but if you're like me, you'll love not having to apply layer upon layer of blush for a sun-kissed look. Before I bought this, I swiped some on the inside of my wrist and it didn't really impress me. When I went into the sun I noticed the color and fell in love with it. Of course, I rushed back to the store and purchased it. I've been using it for a month and keep waiting for it to dissapoint me, but it hasn't. It is very natural looking, blends nicely and has a little shimmer. I have dry skin and it doesn't look dry or cakey. It is easy to put too much on if you are used to lightly pigmented blushes. For an NC 25 like me, it's just the right amount of color.
I returned this blush to the store after having one try. Don't get me the wrong, the color is gorgeous, but too similar with Pink Tutu from Flirt as well. It's too pigmented and a little dusting makes me look like a clown. Not subtle enough for me. If I want to create a more dramatic look I'll reach for Pink Tutu, which is very similar to Nars Orgasm.
This is such a gorgeous color, I can really see it working on most skin-tones! When using a soft hand (warning: applying too much of this product will likely result in the sunburnt look) this blush looks very gorgeous and adds warmth to my face, perfect for the summer months especially! My only complaint is the packaging, I would have been more than happy without the fancy shmancy slide and flip packaging that I've thought I've broken about 8 times now, but even that's not enough for me to knock this down to four lippies!
Perfect pinky-peach color for all you fair maidens out there, and it goes on without blotching and stays put all day. I've been using it for about two years now; my only complaint is OPENING the stupid thing, and the packaging always breaks. I must really love it to keep using it - if and when the packaging breaks my love I'm going to try NARS in Orgasm next, I've heard it's amazing, but we'll see. :)
this is turning out to be my favorite blush. originally i went specifically to get urge, which i'd read reviews for, and they were out, but this one caught my eye. once i finally figured out how to open the freakin thing, i was really surprised by how nice the texture was and how smoothly it went on. and the color is gorgeous! it's just that right mix of coral and pink that i've been looking for. it's pretty pigmented, so i apply it pretty lightly and build up from there. it's really versatile in that you can get a really subtle, natural glow or something much brighter. either way it's beautiful. and it works on my skin whether i have a tan or not, which is a plus also. i also have urge and crazy in love, and by far this one is my favorite.
Beautiful vibrant pink with a touch of coral. Very sheer hint of luminescence - for a barely there whisper of glow. Absolutely beautiful! Gives my pale yellow-neutral undertoned complexion a healthy pop of color.
This color caught my eye at Kohls when I was walking by the isle. I actually stopped and walked back to the isle to see this blush. It looks more coral under the store lights. At home and outside it's more pink with just a touch of coral. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous in any light!
5 lippies! :)
Now... the packaging! Once I figured it out, it's easy. The trick is to SLIDE the inside case sideways FIRST, and THEN lift the compact lid. If you try to lift the lid first, it sticks and can get stuck and pop off.
Slide first, then lift the lid. :)
Highly recommend!
The quality of the blush is pretty good, and the packaging is weird. For the price, this blush compares to high end blushes, but teh color was all wrong for me. Way too bright pink for my NC40 skin tone.
I was at Kohl's today and noticed that all the makeup [including Flirt] was 10% off until April 1st [i believe], so I was checking out the Flirt blushes and spotted this color. I noticed the texture of Flirt blushes are really silky smooth. Sweet Surrender is a girlie slightly shimmery pink. It makes me really rosy and feminine looking and the added shimmer highlights my cheekbones. I'm really pleased with the quality of this blush but the packaging is kind of hard to open and the mini brush it comes with is crap, but the blush itself is gorgeous...I actually want to go back and pick up a few more colors before this sale is over!
