YUCK. Worst stuff I have ever put on my skin!!! I bought this to help with anti -aging. My mom taught me from a very young age that skincare was very important and that its great to start young with anti aging products. This stuff smells REALLY good, but it broke my face out horribly!!! I used it for 3 days and it took me a month and a half to get my skin back to normal afterwards/

Had samples of this-despite the rave reviews it was just ok-kinda felt heavy-I like creams that eventually sink in. Get samples (try ebay) it wasnt bad, I didnt break out or anything. I like the Avon Renew better

I really loved this! Make my skin look great and moisturized perfectly I just hated the jar...I can honestly say this made my skin look radiant=)

A bit oily for me and I'm not fond of the scent. The opening to the jar is little so it will be interesting to see if I can get all the lotion out when I get down further.

i'm 40 & have been using avon for 10 yrs. i'm halfway through my 1st jar of retroactive, using every night. i have normal/ oily t-zone. i've used many avon night creams + tons of others, but i have to say that this ranks in the top 3. it's not nearly as heavy as many night creams, even tho i wouldn't use it during the day here in the south. i haven't noticed a smell at all, allthough admittedly my nose isn't very sensitive to smells in my cosmetics. like another ,younger reviewer, my skin glowed the next morning after the first use. the clincher for me, what will make me buy this again ( and those over 40 will understand) is that it's so gentle, i can use it under my eyes before any other eye product. it's doesn't burn me AT ALL. this is a rarity for me, MOST night ( AND eye creams!) creams do. using under my eyes helps with dryness during the day and keeps me from buying SO much eye cream! like the others, the jar design needs help but lots of companies don't package with us in mind! i bought this thru an avon rep; the retroactive cleanser and night cream was only $12!!! oh yes...i backordered!! continued >>

I like this stuff a lot. I got the am and pm and eye serum. Well the cream smells really good. It moisturizes nicely. This stuff also evens out my skin too, which really helps.

It was one of the best moisturizer i had ever used, it was so rich and hydrating. I have so far just tried the samples, maybe for a week now and i have noticed a big difference to my skin. Im only 25 but my facial contour is not as youthful as... well, say when i was 18, but this cream improved it so much so I am very pleased with it! I am thinking to get it when i run out of the sample. (hopefully it will be on sale!)

I have been using the retroactive day cream with spf for about a month. The product smells pleasant, and glides over skin for a velvet, smooth touch. I will not be repurchasing again because it has made my complexion worse with whiteheads and cystic acne in various places. It doesn't moisturize well either. It's too bad....

I have had this less than a week, but so far am very impressed. I love the texture (light gel cream) and the smell?....Others have mentioned the smell being overbearing but I find that it's quite pleasant..very girlie :-) As a moisturizer, it has performed nicely at night and in the morning under makeup. My current foundation has SPF so I don't fret over the lack of sun protection in the moisturizer. Unfortunately though, because I have only been using it a week, I can not label HG status just yet. But if the product continues to moisturize without breaking me out then upping to 5 lippies will be well deserved.

I'm still too young to use a night cream, but as an Avon rep, i had this sitting by itself as a leftover product and i finally decided to try it. I have to say, I love everything about it! It goes on so smoothly, it feels sooo nice on the skin, makes the skin smooth all night until day, fixes dry patches, clarifies, and smells really good! It's a shame my mom doesn't use night creams (even though i bought her the exuviance one). But this is def something to purchase from an avon rep, so take a look!

Loving this!! Thanks to the reviews on here I bought this a few weeks ago and I am so pleased - finally a moisturiser that smoothes, soothes and moisturises but doesn't make me break out!! My skin is looking better every day.
This is a nightcreme, but I have been using this day (under EL Doublewear) and night and it's lovely to wake up with no new spots and smooth skin.

I've used this product since I was 19 (I'm 24 now) and have not found anything yet to surpass it. Having had problems with acne in the past, I was somewhat wary of using a night cream, but decided to do so anyway for the anti-aging benefits. For those with very oily skin, this may be too much for you during the summer months---but for me, this saved my face during the harsh Connecticut winters. I even noticed that some redness was diminished after continued use. My only complaint: the jar. SO unsanitary to be sticking your fingers in night after night, and once you get to the bottom, it is impossible to scrape the remnants from the curved sides (the mouth of the jar is smaller than the jar itself). Wish they would just make a pump bottle. One final note: I'm recommending the original formula----I have no idea how the new Youth Extending Night cream is....but I can only pray that it is better, not worse!

I have heard such good things about this cream and the whole Retroactive line that when it was on sale with the day lotion and eye serum for $37, I had to try it! Well, I woke up this morning and my skin was absolutely GLOWING!!! I have normal skin with the occasional pimple every now and then. I just turned 24 and my skin has kind of lost that glow that I used to have. Normal price for this cream is $25 which is kind of pricey but seems to have a lot in the jar. Speaking of the jar, it kind of sucks because the opening of it is way smaller than the jar itself which will make getting the last bit of cream a PITA. I do love the way this smells! It smells like a spa!! Very relaxing and nice before bedtime. This cream reminds me of Estee Lauder's DayWear.. Will repurchase only when it is on sale.

This cream is really nice stuff. It seems to make my skin look better immediately.
I have fairly nice skin for being 51 (new people I meet think I'm around forty) and I have used many Avon creams during the years. This one is good! Definitely worth trying!

I am 26, have combo skin and a tendency to break-out. Approaching the magic 30something ages, I decided to start using an anti-aging moisturizer at night. Before, I never used to put on any moisturisers thinking that it would increase my pimples. But these days I am figuring out the wonders of salisilic acid. So I've got my acne under control, I chose this product to stop signs of aging. I found it to be rather lightweight in consistency which did not bother my oily areas. After using it for a few weeks I can really say that my skin looks firmer and more evenly toned. People recognize the difference and complement me for it. I'll repurchase.

This light gel-cream formula is marketed by Avon for women in the 25-34 age group. I'm 34 and still have problems with break-outs, so I use this instead of the Anew Force extra for the next age group up. This cream is good for use before bed since it's too shiny to use during the day & takes a while to absorb. It smells a bit strong, which is a minus for me. But I do like that with continued nighty use it makes my skin look fresher and younger. This can be purchased on Ebay for much less than retail price. This one's a keeper for me. continued >>

This is a light gel-cream that absorbs easily. It has a fresh scent which I like. As I have combo skin, I was not sure how this was going to work on my skin but I have had no problems at all with this. I use it at night 2 -3hours after I apply Avon's dual retinol treatment and it is a great combination of products for me right now. My skin is soft and smooth.

It's the one and only good product in Retroactive line imho.It's advertised as a night cream here so I only use it at nights.I think that's what is meant to do because it's a tiny bit heavy for daytime BUT don't get me wrong,it's not heavy like other night creams-think Shiseido Benefiance heaviness for instance.Like another reviewer said,I notice a great difference on skin tone and clarity in the mornings.I can buy this again when it's on sale,but until then I'll just this one up and try something else-probably a better brand.

I have used this product for approx one year. I love using this product in the winter months but in summer its a little too heavy. I have combo skin and easily get clogged pores but this product did not make me breakout. Is the perfect product to lighten up my foundation and works well as a primer too. Label says to wear at night which is true...but daytime use is just as helpful. Wish it didn't cost so much in Australia.
