I use this product as my weekly scrub/exfoliant. Daily use dried my skin out too much, but dialling it back to weekly seems to work for me. I tend to cleanse my face as usual with my daily cleanser and then whilst my face is wet, spread this to my entire face and leave it on for 5 minutes, then splash with water and scrub for a minute or so. Leaving it on seems to dissolve a lot more than scrubbing for 5 minutes, not sure why, but YMMV. The effect reminds me of the Murad Enzyme Masks, dissolving away flaky skin. Heating thing is awesome but doesn't last too long. I use mine in the shower, and the packaging gets a little flimsy towards the end of the tube. Blackheads seem to have been kept at bay so that is great!

the warming part of this cleanser is amazing. i look forward to cleaning my face each night. this product is in no way s'pposed to magically get rid of your blackheads if thats what your thinking. i have a lot of them & this keeps them at bay. my blackhead arent as large as they were before so thats good. i dont have to use the nose strips so often also. its awesome. continued >>

Firstly, I would give this a thumbs up for the warming sensation you get when you rub it against your face; it is very soothing and relaxing. Another plus is that the beads are just enough for adequate exfoliation and are not rough or grainy. So you see, obviously my first impressions of this cleanser was good.

OVer time, I realised that my face was constantly dry & peeling - especially near my nose and cheeks. This affected my makeup application & made my skin more sensitive. I used this once to twice a week - & it occured to me that this cleanser was chemically too strong and harsh; overall it was damn drying. In fact, I now recall rushing to apply toner to my face simply because I got used to anticipating the dryness of my skin if I left the toning for over 10-15 minutes post-cleansing.

Blackheads? Not a problem of mine so I cannot comment, sorry.

I gave this 2 instead of 1 lippie because of the warming sensation which I find really cool and innovative. Otherwise, I would not consider this as an exfoliator I'd repurchase for the future continued >>

The warming sensation was nice for the15 seconds it happens but after that it is totally useless.

My brother bought this and one day, I was just curious, so I tried it out on the one problem area with blackheads, my nose. The warming part was nice, but it didn't do anything for my blackheads on my nose. This was a disappointment for me, but for the longterm, my brother uses this on a daily basis, and his skin is getting better along with the Biore Ice Blemish Cleanser that I also reviewed on. =]

I've been using this product for about a month now and I use it every two or three days. I don't have full-blown acne but I do get the occasional whitehead. Since I started using this product, I've had fewer breakouts and when I would get a whitehead, they were very small and healed more quickly. I say this is a good maintenance product - my skin looks great these days. Also I should add that I had a major breakout a while back due to another product I was trying and this stuff did a great job at nursing my skin back to health.

I liked the way it warmed my skin, but it didn't last long at all!
I really like the smell and texture of it. It's grainy and exfoliates, but gently. It didn't do anything good or bad to my skin. Just left it the same.

I used this about 2x a day, and I go through one bottle about every 6-8 weeks. It works pretty well for me. They say it works as well as Proactiv, I'd agree somewhat. It doesn't dry out my skin which I love! Can't get enough of this stuff!

This product didn't work for me. At all. Like many people have said, all it seemed to do was heat up on the skin for a bit and that's it. I liked the texture and the fragrance, but I didn't like this product overall. It just didn't work for me. :(

I did not like the feeling of the warming cream and like others have states it did nothing for the skin except make it warm for a couple seconds.

Product feels and smells nice...but has no positive effect on my skin, didn't help with blackheads, pretty much didn't do anything it's suppose to do.

This product did nothing for my blackheads or pimples. I have been using it for awhile now every other day, and i still see no improvement. I just use it for an exfoliating scrub, and the warming feature lasts about 2 seconds...

Aside from the warm feeling on your face, this product doesn't do much. It was really drying to the face which I didn't expect since Biore tends to cater to sensitive skin. I did not see any difference in pores. If you want to get rid of black heads, stick to the Biore Pore strips, that stuff is GREAT! THe cleanser, not so much.

I'm surprised that this has such a low rating. I really like it. I think that maybe the people who gave this negative reviews have either sensitive skin, or didn't give this enough time. I've been using this straight for about a week and a half now, and can say that I've actually seen improvement in my blackheads.
I've been using this mostly as an exfoliating product, in conjunction with my AcneFree (generic ProActiv) system. I never really had too much of a problem with blackheads, but the ones on my nose and a few on my cheeks always bugged me, and this has actually made them less noticeable. It's taken a while but I think with time this actually improves things a lot. And, I just love the warmth, it's like a little bit of spa treatment everyday in the shower :)

I was over at my friends house and she said I had to try this! After I used it, my blackheads were gone, I was so happy!!! I am buying this product this week. Its also really cool because it warms the places where you have blackheads. I tend to fall for products with gimmicks!

This is a product I dislike greatly. It managed to develop more blackheads and pimples on my face and I don't feel that clean on my face even washing it twice in one sitting. It drys my face out so bad it's all tight and irritated.

I LOVE this scrub. I had been using Neutrogenas Stress Free Scrub but this is far superior. First, it is creamy and second it is not harsh. While I agree the warming sensation is worthless, the scrub is not. I have been using this for a month on my cystic acne prone face and it has helped clear up some older acne scars I had and reduced new acne healing time. While it is not a miracle, it is the best scrub I have found that I can use EVERY day if I want to!!!!

I have very sensitive skin, so when it comes to facial products, I've always had issues, but this one did not irritate my skin at all. I can't really say it helped too much, but maybe the 3 weeks I've been using it for haven't been enough to see results.
The warming effect is very nice, especially during the winter, it goes on smoothly, and smells good.

I love this product, so was suprised to find all these negative reviews here! Perhaps many of the reviewers on this board use products from a lot of upper end brands, so this would not compare to say cleansers from Clinique or another better brand. However, for it's price I think it's really good!
Firstly, I should just mention that I have never had acne, and my skin is pretty good in general (aside from a mildy oily T-zone) So this may be a reason I'm okay with this product.
I find it is one of the most thorough cleansers. True, the warming effect only lasts for a split second, but all traces of make up are wiped of better than with foaming cleansers, lotion cleansers or other types. It is not easy to use, as another reviewer said it is hard to spread on the face as the combination of warming cleanser and microbeads make it very thick and rather uncomfortable to put on. However, after comparing the 'after' wipe of residue on my cotton pad to other cleansers, this one wins hands down. After the fresh, natural fragrance, warming feeling, and then wiping off the beads, my face feels fresh, purified and clean, especially when I look again at my cotton pad and all the crap on it!
This perhaps isn't so much a cleanser as some sort of cleanser mask, it's perhaps not an everyday thing for some people, but after each session of this thick cleanser I feel like I've been purged of whatever dirt, make up and oiliness that may have been on my face.
I find this product rather unique as well, as the only other equivalent I've seen is Clean & Clears warming scrub, which I advise people NOT to buy! The beads in that one are so hard and the 'liquid' so thick that I feel like I've rubbed wet sandpaper on my face after I've used it and removed a whole layer of skin! Biore's version is much gentler, and it still feel like it purges my skin of impurities; the heat to bring them out of the pores, the beads to scrub them away. I say, give it a try! continued >>
