Have been using this for years and swear by it. So nourishing for my skin, moisturising and has reduced my surgery scars.
Love the smell, the consistency, a little goes a long way, the feel of my skin after - it makes it so supple and smooth!
Prefer the jar formula to the lotions. It's more... buttery? Knocked one lippy off because sometimes it takes a while for my skin to soak it up, which means that I can't get dressed straight away because I don't want the grease all over my clothes.

Excellent for blurring and softening bruised or dry skin I first became aware of this line while on family vacation in Bermuda. We rented mopeds and yes, I managed to ride straight into a curb middle age style and was lucky to have only suffered minor injuries. When the swelling went down, vitamin e and this incredible jar of Palmers original formula began blurring and eventually healing my roughed up ankle and leg. I still use this as an overnight foot treatment with Vaseline on top, then socks. Same consistency as coconut oil (it warms and liquifies at the touch, but works better for these particular purposes.
Edit: Also great for frostbitten hands and knuckles. I am pretty bad with wearing gloves for short walks and no other hand creme soothes my poor hands like this one. Never want to be without this!
Excellent product, i use it for scars and skin imperfections; it's not cheap, but it lasts a long time; the jar holds up even when dropped on the floor; ill buy it again.
Oh my goodness, how did I not know about this product??? I used the one in the bottle but gave that 3 lippies, this is getting a full fat 5 lippies !! The formula is completely different to the one in the bottle, this has a less sticky texture, its more of a melting butter which is so fab, I am chucking the bottle one away and using this from now on.. it doesn't smell so strong too which is good because the bottled one smells sickly of white chocolate, this is a subtle version of it and actual cocoa smell... it applies better IMO , I am going to scoop a bit into a tin and use it as my cuticle cream to take along , bargain!!!! My nails are so strong and cuticles soft, thankyou solid formula!!!!
I soooo love this cream! It's luxurious. I don't care about it not absorbing so fast, I hate watery creams. This really pampers the skin and smells amazing! I'm not sure if it's lightened my stretch marks, but I use it on them anyway. And the price was great, I got mine at Target, they have really good prices on drug store items! I will definitely continue to buy this!
Squeezing into your hands it smells kind of bad but once you apply it and let it set it smells like yummy chocolate. The scent isn't going to spread far across the room it's just on you. I usually use it for my hands but I put it on my neck once after a while it got kinda itchy, but I'm not sure if its the lotion's fault. They did come out with a hypoallergenic version but it smells completely different.
I have a huge tub of this for ages. I bought the small trial sized ones and simply refill those when I run out, scooping with a plastic spoon. I had the trial first and loved it. It feels and smells luxurious, comforting and is effective both cost wise and for intended use. I have a medical condition that causes my moisture glands to stop functioning. I have dry skin because I no longer produce a moisture barrier. I have been using Palmers AHA/BHA lotion since June and LOVE it! Its light, fast absorbing, and truly delivers as promised. Its lightweight so easy to use and go. This product is unlike that as its thick, not quick to absorb, not an apply and go product yet like the other is effective in its intended use. This is very creamy in consistency, with a sweet, very chocolately/buttery scent. Its soothing to apply to both skin and lips. For times when my skin is feeling incredibly dry and I will be inside, or before bed, this feels more like a treat than a treatmment and a little goes a long way. There are many uses for this, for thrifty gals this is so multi-purpose: when I have a small amt of a lip balm left, I can carefully twist out the remaining balm, melt it in a microwave safe dish with a little scoop of this, stir together, then pour back in the tube (which has been wound all the way down but retains the little part that held the original balm). Pop in freezer to set, minutes later, new tube of balm with the original balm giving the stability this softer cream needs. When using a very dark self tanner, use gloves to apply this right AFTER, and rub in well. It softens the look, and helps with drier areas like elbows and knees. Used this way I was able to make use of self tanners that were otherwise too dark or even the right shade but otherwise too streaky. I've used this cream to buff in shine and conditon hand bags and shoes. Tames fly aways in hair too. As the weather in the North East USA becomes colder, I find myself reaching for this more because I don't use this as much when its crazy humid out. I am more and more impressed with this brand. Lastly, I do wish this came in a tube but understand the cost of re-doing a factory to accomadate entirely new packaging would likely be passed on to the consumer and might require some changes in formulation.

I love this product and it smells so good I want to eat it:) I had surgery and have a 3 inch scar inside my elbow on the tender skin ouchie. I have been using this product since I got my stitches out and it is fading dramatically!! I'm really happy and use their products a lot because the a drug store brand you can always count on. The price is reasonable and it really does work in my opinion.
I use it on my face at night when I'm taking a break from my RA because my skin occasionally gets sensitive and this fixes it in one night! It also amazingly doesn't break me out. This is the best butter besides raw coco butter I have ever used. I will always buy this product because it works!

I will buy this again and again, and again! I love this stuff and I hope they never ever stop making it. I started to use this after using the lotion pump bottle, and being disappointed when it ran out, and there was still loads of lotion left that I couldn't get out. The tub is much better as I can get every last bit :D
This formula is a Vaseline type texture, hard in the tub but melts at body temperature. I only use this at night, as it is very moisturizing and can transfer easily. I use this all overmy face, under my eyes, on my lips, on my eyelashes... my entire body! I only started using Palmer's when discovered my first ever stretch marks on my thighs and needed to act fast! I used the lotion for a month and this faded them slightly, but this original formula does a much better job and they are slowly disappearing! It really is best to get in there when they're new, and I hope this prevents any more appearing in the future.
I also have very fair skin, so if I get any spots on my face, even after they are gone I am left with the red marks where they were for a very long while. Since using this on my face (I have only been doing so for a week after seeing other MUA users did the same) the red marks are fading dramatically, and I can not wait to see the results after a month!
The packaging isn't exciting, but it doesn't need to be! This is an amazing product and for the price it doesn't need to be dressed up. I will be stocking up on this product as I never want to run out of it! I can't think of a better buy for £3.50!

This feels more moisturizing than the formula in the flip top container. I can see this lasting long because you only need the slightest bit. I also like the way it leaves my skin looking shiny and healthy after I rub it in. The way it sits in the tub is perfect because it dosent shift around in the tub, slightly resembles a stiff lip balm. Cost around 3$ at Walmart.
