I have a conflicted relationship with Clinique and find many of its products hit-or-miss. On one hand, they're great for people with allergies to some make-up products.
On the other, some of them are shoddy and the quicklliner is one of them. I have two of them (black and black/brown). Both of them go on smoothly, but the issues come when a few hours go by--the colors fade. Not to mention, if you need to touch up, the packaging makes it extremely difficult to get more of the product.
I actually had to unscrew the pen part and shove the product through that made me lose a significant amount. I'm not thrilled about it and it's one of the products from Clinique I won't be trying again.
I got a sample of this in 'dark chocolate'. I like the color, but it doesn't last at all. I have monolids, so eyeliners do wear off quickly on me, but this only lasted an hour.
Best pencil liner I've used.I have it in "Dark Chocolate" a really lovely dark brown! Packaging is good I like the smudge tip, stays in place and doesn't run at the end off the day.
As much as I love the packaging of this liner (no need to sharpen) and the slate color, it doesn't stay put with my oily skin. I applied the liner on my upper lid and although the formula isn't to soft or dry, it never seemed to "set". Two hours after applying it, it would smudge and give me raccoon eyes. I had to return it after multiple attempts to keep it from smudging under my eyes.
Starting with the positives, this eyeliner applies smoothly and it doesn't drag on the eye. I like that it is retractable YET it doesn't retract. if you try to pull the product back it won't go down. Also the liner doesn't come out to a find point so you can't get a precise line. It's not smudge proof.
This is a decent, average eye liner. Doesn't smudge a ton, but it does fade. Not as creamy as I would like, but doesn't tug either. There are lots of drugstore liners that will perform similarly though -- Neutrogena, Physicians Formula if you have sensitive eyes and many more brands if you don't.
Too Smudgy. This eyeliner glides on beautifully, has a very dark pigment, but it smudges EVERYWHERE! By the middle of the day I have raccoon eyes. It's as if the eye liner never dries. Because it smudges so easily, it also gets in my eye and I have to wash my eyes out with saline to get all the particles out. That's not healthy. I will stick to a traditional wooden pencil for my waterline and the eyeliner pot and brush for my eyelids.

BEST EYELINER EVER!!!!!...or at least until I discover a better one (if ever). This is an amazing eyeliner. It applies so easily that I don't even have to press it down on myself; it just comes on nicely. It does not need retouching because it stays on.
Also, on those days when I want a more smudged look, it works wonders. It looks amazing and stays amazing until I wash it off.

This is one of the best pencil liners I've used.I have it in "really black", but other colors are also available. It comes with a smudge tip, quite in handy actually. It really stays in place and doesn't run at the end off the day. i only use it on my upper lid, not below the eye or on my watermark and I'm not good with liquid liners, so not sure how it would work for someone else.
Con: it doesn't retract, so be careful not to twist too much out, as it will dry or break.

This is the ultimate pencil liner. I've been using this liner for a number of years now and I absolutely love it. With a retractable tip, I never have to carry around a pencil sharpener which makes this product super convenient. Additionally, the pencil itself goes on smooth with no tugging or pulling at the eyes. I normally go for the blackest black liner, but for this product I use the darkest brown. Highly recommend!
