Love Benefit and this eyeshadow is no exception. Love the colors, the packaging, and the small mirror on the lid. Will purchase again.
I think that the only thing I really ended up loving about this duo was the packaging. Other than that, the shadows were not very pigmented, flat, and seemed to fade by the end of the day.
Very cute packaging. Of course, the colour in the pan isn't the colour that shows up on the eyelids (see colour descriptions in reviews below). They are very slightly shimmery but mostly quite "flat". The eyeshadows did last a long time without creasing though and blended well together.
This is an ok product. I pretended Not to Notice is a duo shadow that comes in a black pot with a picture of an orchid on the top. On the inside is a small mirror. The jar itself, is a little thick and bulky. The amount of product is the same as the old smashbox duos but the jar is thicker and not as wide. Inside is a pale lavender that is basically off white and the other side is a grey with a hint of purple. Each side has a slight shimmer but the shimmer doesnt really show up on application which leaves the color a little flat. The colors are very standard and not unique at all. The quality lasted all day without creasing and it went on smoothly. The light side isnt really all that pigmented and the darker side is nicely pigmented. Its an ok duo, nothing to write home about. Retails for $18.
This is part of the fall 2004 collection. It comes in a adorable black pot with a black orchid on the top, and a mirror on the top part of the pot. Really beautiful packaging.
This is a split pan style eyeshadow with two colours. The first is a very pale lilac and the second is a deep almost grayed purple. Both colours have a soft shimmer to them. They wore nicely all day with only slight creasing (but then I wasn't wearing a base, so maybe that had something to do with it...). While I'm sure these aren't the most unique colours they are very beautiful and work very nicely together. continued >>
