I brought my prep+prime lip primer with me today, applied, let'r get tacky and applied Morange. The first swipe on my bottom lip got me a little anxious, thinkin' "oh brother, the Chanel girls at the next counter are gonna beat me up if were to wear this" . . I applied the rest of this Amplified lippy and was unfortunately not happy with the outcome. I don't have darkly-pigmented lips to begin with but I felt it was quite sheer on me. The orange is the perfect orange - it just didn't end up on me that way!
A few of my friends purchased Morange, they have darker skintones and lips and it looks absolutely LOVELY on them. I'll stick with So Chaud, but definitely sample some Morange during your next visit at MAC.

The color is amazing! Very bright and I would recommend using a red lip liner underneath to ensure the color stays and the lips look defined

Ever since I saw a hoard of orange lips during Fashion Week in NYC (I live in NYC), I just had to get my hands on this, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase, honestly!
This is my go-to bold lip color for days that I'm feeling bold, fearless, and reckless. All I need to do is apply this and bam!--instant glam!
The color is a bright, intense orange. The color intimidates people, but don't let that get to you. If done right, it'll look fabulous! The key to wearing this is with a no-makeup look and defined eyebrows.
The pigmentation of this lipstick is incredible. You can layer it on thickly for a bold bright orange, or you can use your fingers to lightly dab on for a subtle orange. It doesn't wear off and stays put through everything. It also has a nice sheen to it (no shimmer, thank God).
I've worn this during my dance tour (I'm in a dance company) and regular days. Hell, I've even convinced my director to let all of the female dancers wear this lipstick for our Lady Gaga-themed tour--he said "I love the bold look!" (hehe, so do I). People undoubtedly stare at me when I wear this, but who cares? I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick!

beautiful, its one of those bold lipstick you wear on those days, where you're feeling fearless, courageous. Cause the colour is so bright and strong (and long lasting) you WILL be looked at, BUT you won't care ;P. Looks good on light and dark skin colour but i advise maybe not tanned. I myself am a fair skin type.

AMAZING. I love this lippie. My sister tried it on a couple of years ago and LOVED it in the store but didn't buy it because of the price. I saw it cheaper on ebay a few weeks ago and ordered two, one for me and one for her. I hadn't tried it on before, but put it on as soon as I got it and fell in love! It's such an amazing, pigmented colour. Just one swipe is all you need and it can be toned down really easily. You hardly need any other make up, just a clear face, big black eyelashes, and a swipe of this colour to really make a statement! AMAZING.

One of my favourite bold and obnoxious colours. I own colours from bright neon corals to pastel lilacs. So far Morange is my favourite - especially with the colourblocking trend that's current, the bright orange gives a shazzam! to any look.
Plus, the first time I ever wore this, I received 3 compliments in just a few hours!!
MAC will always be my favourite.

bright elegant red orange.. this lippie makes you stand out in a crowd so if you are in the pastel/nude or die brigade, stay away from this colour.
if however you like to experiment and make a statement.. do try this colour. As noted by the previous reviewer, don't wear this with a lot of eye makeup, es, or much blush.. the more understated, the better with this colour as it is a statement lipstick.

I walked into MAC looking for a true orange lipstick and walked out with morange instead. Morange is an intense orange/ yellow toned red. When compared with my other red lipsticks, it almost looks like neon red/orange.
I love wearing this on days when I've got basic jeans and a white t on. It's the perfect lipstick to adding a splash of personality or that eye catching color to your wardrobe. I've gotten tons of compliments when I wear this lipstick. Since it is a very striking color, I recommend wearing this when you'd got toned down outfit/eye make up on. It's a loud color but it's oh so pretty!

Honestly, if there was one lipstick I would truly recommend the most, it would be Morange. I'm usually someone who stays away from the really OTT colours and I like to stay safe, so if you're similar to me and are thinking 'no, too bright' about Morange please try it!! It looks incredible especially on brunettes and people with brown eyes. The MAC representive recommended I tried it and I shrugged it off and said I'm not fussed on orange colours, but when she pretty much forced me (lol thank god she did) I almost died when I looked in the mirror! THE best lipstick I have EVER bought and I am not exaggerating. It reminds me of (for people in the UK) Cher Lloyd in the Swagger Jagger video. It is very pigmented and gives a fantastic coral/orangey colour. A MUST!!!!! You have to buy this!!!!! (By the way I don't understand the first photo because it's a LOT less red in real life, it's a bright coral colour, much more orange)

It is extremely pigmented and I love it! I was looking high an low for an orange lipstick and no lipstick was quite as orange and opaque, except for Make up forever #40 which was much more expensive (S$38) whereas this was cheaper (S$28). I blot it to make it matte, since its 'amplified' (i dont know what an amplified texture is honestly).

Kind of expensive for me but I would repurchase if I finish it, but I probably won't because I'm not allowed to wear make up to school :(

I first heard about Morange from makeup gurus on YouTube, but when I went to my MAC counter to buy it, it was sold out. While I ended up buying 2 other lipsticks at the time, I decided to place an online order for Morange, and am so glad I did! It's truly bright, so I merely tap it on my lips and top with either a nude gloss or a slightly orange-tinted gloss. Love it - have never thought about trying out this shade before!

Gorgeous color, I love it especially with Nymphette and Forabundance
Lipglass both give it different looks that work beautifly with this bright orange lipstick. I also really like it under Love Nectar Lustreglass.

At first I had my doubts. It seemed a risk. It is a color that will either love you or kill you. I was lucky! I wear it at work on weekdays with a bit of mascara and terracota blush. I look so stylish and it only takes me a few minutes to get ready.

I was at the MAC counter today and swiped this on against an orange lipstick that I bought yesterday, Revlon Moondrops Orange Flip in the green tube, and it is the EXACT same shade - absolutely identical and in fact, I think I like the Revlon better because it is so vibrant and richly pigmented it stays on for hours, a lot longer than most of my MAC lipsticks! I love MAC lipsticks and own a lot of them, but lately have been experimenting with Revlon and am amazed at what great lipsticks they have, in a gorgeous array of colors, as good or better than MAC and this shade, I'm telling you Orange Flip is identical to Morange! The good news is that Orange Flip is only $8.99 and sometimes you can get an even better deal when Revlon is on sale at Walgreens. Another plus is the vintage green tube it comes in, so cute. Try Orange Flip before buying this!

Definitely not an every day colour for me, but I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. It is so bright and pigmented and ORANGE! You can tone it down quite easily, or just leave as is and have a bold look.
This colour works for both my skin tone (NC42) and lip size (quite large) which was a pleasant surprise.
I love it and can't wait to use it at an event :)
I wouldn't repurchase just because I doubt I will get a lot of use out of it, I just think it is a fun colour to have.

I was very apprehensive about the color but like any true beauty addict who follows trend, I had to get it. Bright oranges and pinks are in. This color is absolutely amazing. It goes well with any skintone but particularly if you are tan or dark skinned. I am an NC45, very golden dark complexion and I've been wearing this almost every day by simply dabbing it lightly on my lips. It wakes my entire face up! I plan on wearing it fully for nights out but so far it's working very well as an every day, wake me up color. I also love the amplified consistency which makes it very cream and easy to spread on the lips. Highly recommend!

LOVE this color! I don't usually wear any color on my lips but this has opened my mind to orange. Very wearable and you can tone it down by blotting and it sill looks gorgeous. I like it better than red for some reason. This is a color I would usually walk by, but if you are ever curious, just try it, you might be surprised like I was.
