This was my first try at high ppd sunscreens.I ordered 3 different s/s from
tubotica;Avene,Ducray and Vichy.For me, this was not a good fit.I have rosacea and this gave me very tiny papules all over my forehead.I was able to get rid of
some of the papules.I still have some tiny ,round flesh colored bumps on my forehead that my derm says are sebaceous hyperplasia.I think the Avene brought those on.I am still trying to get rid of those!I also have yearround allergies
and the Avene makes me sneeze.I have been using a sample of a french s/s called Uriage for the last 7 days and I have had no problems with it.It was a freebie
sample that tubotica sent with my order.I am now waiting on an order of 2 Uriage
s/s and a s/s by a company called SVR.I have high hopes for the Uriage!

This is the best high protection UVA & UVB sunscreen I have managed to find so far. Nice texture with no more than a very slight white cast which disappeared after a few minutes. I was left with a slight sensation of a layer over my face but this improved after my tinted moisturiser and a little powder. I can't say I was unaware that I was wearing it but was not uncomfortable at all, and on balance worth it for the high level of protection providedas I use retin A.
I also tried the gel creme 20B 20A which gave me nuch more of a 'film over my face' effect.
I will probably buy this again, will see how it goes with long term use. continued >>
