left my face oily like sunscreen

This lotion leaves my already-oily skin pretty shiny, but it doesn't make me break out. I like having SPF 30 when I'm out and about in the summer, so a bit of shininess is a trade-off for the great sun protection.

The main reason I stick with this stuff is because I can get it from my Avon representative - my great aunt, for about $5/bottle. Normally it retails for something like $11 or $12, but it can be found often on Avon.com for half price - which I'll break down here assuming that people shop smart. 1 bottle (1.7 fl oz), daily generous use from jawbone to hairline to ears, @ $6, lasts me about 3 months. About 6.5 cents for daily use, which is about as cheap as I've found a daily facial moisturizer with an SPF of at least 30. Downsides? It's kind of greasy at first, although it does melt into skin better after about 30 minutes. Avoid getting too close to eyes; I recommend a stick like Hawaiian Tropic's for delicate areas so you avoid eyeball burn! This stuff still leaves my face a little too 'dewy' as my makeup doesn't last over it. I guess you can tell I have yet to find my HG facial moisturizer, but I will keep using this because of the price until I do.

This is such a nice, light moisturizer for normal to oily skin. It doesn't feel like a grease slick on my skin, absorbs nicely and my makeup goes on easily over it. More importantly, it provides more than enough sun protection! This is the only product I have repeatedly bought. I would recommend it!

I liked this. I have been using OoO sensitive skin spf 30, but bought this on a whim to try. I find it does not make me any oilier, has a nice scent, and offers great sun protection. It doesn't control oil at all, but it doesn't make you more oily...and I'm pretty oily. I use it under a powder foundation and find it to be quite good.

I have found my favorite daily sunscreen/moisturizer. I have acne prone skin that is VERY oily. I have never broken out using this. The smell is soothing and it's very lightweight.

This wasn't so bad! I like the fact that it provides both UVA and UVB protection, when a lot of moisturizers don't. The cream is white, of medium consistency and smells slightly floral. Reminds me of the scent of the Ultimat-E cream. I also like the squeeze tube packaging, which minimizes contamination. The key is not to use too much. You only need a little to cover your face. I always get oily in my T-zone no matter what moisturizer I use and this one is no different. Not a miracle product, but for the price, a very good choice for excellent sun protection.

As you can tell, I'm not happy with this product. I've got normal-oily skin, and this left me VERY, VERY shiny. It looked like I had an oil slick on my face. Further, after using for a couple of days, I noticed that this gave my skin a very strange, slightly rough texture (this is the only thing I changed in my skincare), and I saw larger pores on my face!
Oh well, I'll just use up my tube as a sunscreen for my arms/hands. It's too bad, I was really hoping for a 2-in-1 moisturizer & sunscreen with a higher SPF than 15, but I've had no luck so far, and was hoping this might be it. So the search continues, and I'll keep using a seperate moisturizer & sunscreen for now. continued >>
