I love this cream! It's light, but seems to be a powerhouse. It smells and feels good. I use it at night time around my eyes and laughlines. I have been using it for over a year now, and I think it's working, I don't have wrinkles!! I would recommend this product.

Absolue Premium cream is amazing for dry skin! It is absorbed instantly, leaving my skin feeling soft and looking radiant. The texture is light with a pleasant smell. I use the day and night cream along with the eye cream. I used to use Chanel's Sublimage and this is just as nice at a much lower cost. Highly recommended.

Well I'm fortunate to have got a couple little jars of this stuff from Lancome gift sets because little did I know it was $95 for a full one! Talk about a luxury moisturizer, although when it comes to moisturizers, you can't beat Creme de la Mer's price tags. However, facial moisturizer is just one of those things I would be willing to spend money on because it's a daily essential that goes on your skin every day and sits on your skin all day. This moisturizer really impressed me although the fact that it's a cream intimidated me at first. Cream to me usually means it's too heavy and will make me feel like a greaseball. Au contraire! This cream went on smooth, instantly absorbed, made my skin feel moisturized and plump without any greasiness and just the right amount of hydration! It really feels like a luxury cream. This small trial size jar has lasted me over a month now; a little goes a long way!

Except for High Resolution, I find that Lancome creams break out my sensitive skin, and are either sticky or way too "rich" - read that greasy. This is no exception. May work well for someone with excessively dry skin, but not for my 52 year old normal to slightly oily (in the T zone) skin. Would not repurchase.

My boyfriend bought me the Lancome skincare 5 piece kit for Christmas. The best I can figure, his niece works in that dept. for Macy's. Heavens sakes, I would never request that skincare - ever. I tried Lancome a few years ago and couldn't stand all the fragrance that is in all their skin care line. Not a hint of fragrance, but downright overpowering perfumey smell. Geez, my skin can't even begin to take that. Anyway, I opened a few of the jars, and it all came back to me - ad nauseam. He meant well but Lancome's whole skincare line rates ZERO for me.

Well I think I am probably among the minority here on this, but i really love this cream. The smell is divine, and the benefits i think are wonderful. My skin is soft, my lines are plumped and after i let it dry a minute, my bare minerals glide right over it beautifully. Yes it is a bit expensive (took one lippie off for that), but i bought my last one in a gift set, and got several things for $115.00 including the night cream. I have always loved the Absolue line, and actually the fragrance is what drew me to it to begin with, and now i am a faithful friend. I love it with my Tonique Confort, and Huile Clarte cleansing oil. I am only 35 and i know it is intended for more mature skin types, but it is just perfect for me with no greasy or heavy feel at all.

Overall I like this cream and I went through two jars before I decided not to buy it again. I have dry skin, and while this does seem to smooth out my skin, it's not hydrating enough. I usually have to put something else on top of it to keep from drying out, so why spend the money?

I love this moisturizer. I have combination/dry skin and i love the texture this leaves my skin for putting makeup on in the morning. I love the smell and I love the fact that this has spf in it. I do agree that the active ingredients are not intended to cause exfoliation or cell turn over. There are no aha's or retinols here. This is just intended to be a very hydrating day cream. I have used severa; jars and will buy it again.

I used Lancome for years. I have used every product in moisturizing line, but not all the latest versions. I continually had sales clerks tell me that I needed the next level of moisturizer until at 40 years old, I was put into Absolue line. Is there really good active ingredients in Lancome products? Sadly, not many. My skin was super dry and rough and blurry looking after using this product for 1 and a half years and moisturizing is about all this product has to offer, but it wasn't penetrating into my skin. Also, I laugh when I read that other reviewers think their face is peeling off with Lancome creams. (I laugh not to be mean, but because it's silly, and I thought the same thing until I talked about it with someone else). That is what I thought at first until I realized it is just the product drying up and peeling off the surface of my face. I am sorry that I had never done lots of research into different products. I continuously went to Lancome enticed by GWPs that I recently tossed out- too old and partly used to share with others. Now, there is not too many products I would want from Lancome even if they were given to me for free. I had purchased Getting Gorgeous from InStyle and I used that as my guide for active ingredients. I want HA in my products at bare minimum. I don't care if there are a few antioxidants in cream as I am looking for total package. I now purchase my skincare from the doctor's lines, not the makeup counters. The doctor's counters at Nordstrom's are super at giving samples as is Sephora.

Well I am 62 by now, and please believe me I tried a lot over the last years.
Now I use Lancome absolue night and Absolue Replenshing fluid for over
2 years and well it makes all the difference.
My skin looks like 50 years and I am very happy about it.
The creams are rich and a heaven for dry skin. After a long life of experience
there is nothing around which matches Absolue.

I have bought this product 3 times, and will buy it again. I am a 54 year old redhead, with dry skin...it used to be oily when I was young, then oily in the T-zone as an adult, then omigod one day I realized I had dry skin! Moi! I have at least 12 skincare products that I alternate between for day and for night. I combine 2 products together for day, and 2 for night. I use Absolue for day under another product, such as Almay Kinetin (which I think may have been discontinued). Because I use it with another product, and not every day, it takes me a long time to use up a whole jar, which is good, given the cost. Nevertheless, I like the feel of this cream, love the smell; though the jar is a bit heavy for traveling. I read some other reviews where they spoke of breakouts, irritation, and worsening of lines and creases, and I just don't get it. This cream feels very comfortable on my face, but again I am used to Renova, so maybe I'm immune to discomfort??

I am in my 30's and have really dry skin. My face can take in any kind of heavy moisturizers in the past, but not Absolue night cream. I've been using Primordale and wanted to kick it up a notch for the dry winter months. After using it for a month, two little bumps started to appear along my nose. I was trying several new products at that time and was't sure what caused it. It took a couple of weeks and rounds of elimination to figure out that Absolue is the culprit. Once I stopped using it, the bumps faded away. I now have a nearly full jar in my cabinet. Perhaps I will give it to my mom.

This is my holy grail daytime moisturizer in the winter months when I am extra dry. It makes my foundation glide on and it looks as good at 6pm as it did at 7 am when I put it on. I am on my 4th jar of it already and won't try anything else because I am so happy with it. I wish it came in a pump instead, but other than that, it is perfect for me. It has never caused any breakouts either.
If you have really dry skin this one is worth a try. Go to the Lancome counter, they will give you a sample.

This looks good under the Absolue Makeup; however, it is quite expensive. It bothers me that it contains some alcohol, denat. I don't understand why Lancome would use that in a moisturizer.

I like almost everything about this moisturizer--almost. I have dry (flaky in winter), product-sensitive skin, so it's hard for me to find an effective moisturizer that doesn't make me break out. This is effective, doesn't cause breakouts, is pleasant feeling and smelling, and makes my 45-year-old skin look fantastic--except that it exfoliates, which causes mild but noticeable and unending skin flaking. It contains salicylic acid, as it turns out. (Lancome won't list product ingredients online, so it's hard to know without checking in a department store before buying.) It's down there on the ingredient list, but it's apparently enought to cause problems for me. For most people with dry skin that isn't as sensitive as mine, I'd recommend this highly.

Please read this before you buy Lancôme Absolue cream. IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR SKIN!
About 2 years ago I started using Lancôme products. I thought they were great. I turned 51 and was concerned about getting wrinkles. My skin was still in great condition, clear, tight pores and minimal lines.
I wanted to keep my skin looking this way. I also have dry skin, so I needed a really good moisturizer. I started using, what I thought at the time was the best Lancôme had to offer, Lancôme Absolue Day cream, Absolue Night cream and Absolue Eye cream. I used these creams daily; morning and night, following a strict skin care routine using Lancôme's, Galatee Confort Cleanser and Tonique Confort Toner along with it.
After a year and a half I noticed my pores were starting to look bigger. I had been told that the cream "plumps" the skin with moisture that it goes deep into the pores and releases moisture. I came to the conclusion that this "plumping" was also causing my pores to get larger.
The first day after I quit using Absolue, I was horrified! All those enlarged pores were developing into lines.
It has been about a week now and my skin is starting to improve, now that I am using some natural, organic products.
I will NEVER use Absolue ever again.
Maybe, if your someone who already has enlarged pores and wants a temporary fix to hide it then you may want this cream, but remember as soon as you stop using it the effects are gone.
This cream does absolutely nothing to repair, heal or preserve the looks of the skin. It will do more damage than good in the long run.

I used this product for several months and really liked the way it made my skin look...clarified and smooth feeling. I also began to notice that upon waking up, the side of my face were I had slept had lines so deep that I started using those Frownies face stickies to hold the skin in place. (BTW. They do work!)
This cream did not seem to be doing anything to strengthen or repair my skin. I read a review here aboutit not being for young skin (mine is not) as it can do damage,(?????) but I put 2 and 2 together and quit using it altogether. Took about 3 weeks of being off it completely and now when I get up no more deep lines that take hours to go away and no more face stickies at night. My hubby just loved those! Definitely not a night cream and I'm not taking any chances daytime either.

This made my skin burn!!! I washed it off immediately. I have never experienced a burning sensation from a product before (except from clay/mud masks). I don't have sensitive skin either!

I'm hooked on this moisturizer. My sister works for Lancome and of course she knew that all she had to do was give me a sample and I'd be a convert. They have no problem getting women to shell out $95! When I've run out, I notice the difference in my skin almost immediately.
