This is a very good neutral lipstick on me (NC35): sort of taupy-plum with some shimmer. Not too light, not too dark. I got it for $1.99 when Robinsons-May went out of business, but I'd buy it again at regular price.

I really like Smashbox lippies a lot, and this is a GREAT color on me. It feels great when on, not drying at all, but I deducted one lippie because I wish it lasted longer. It stays on "ok", just not "super" -- I find myself having to touch up every couple hours. But overall, a great-feeling, great-looking lipstick.

Output reminds me of MAC 'O' without all the gold. It is a very pretty bronzy plum color, with maybe a tad of brown. It is fairly long lasting and has a rather matte finish. But the reason I do not recommend it is because it is extremely drying. After only an hour, my lips are parched and peeling. I don't know if all Smashbox lippies are like this. Maybe with lip balm underneathe, this one would work. I'm not sure...
