I noticed an Asian girl with monolids wearing a bronze shadow with black liner on top, so I reached into my stash and pulled this out to try again. (I'd bought it to use as an undereyes liner, and I nixed it then because I need a darker color beneath.) Smoothed from lashes to just above the fold, it looks beautiful with a little black liner and mascara. Highly recommended for women of color, it enhances olive/gold skin and brown eyes.

The shade is more of a bronze/pewter color. It was smooth and easy to apply and blend. It has a nice slightly shimmery finish great for day time.

Very similar to MAC's Tempting or Bronze but slightly more golden in color. A really great, affordable staple. Wish I could still find these shadows.

Beautiful shadow, the name is accurate as this is a bronze flecked with gold. Gorgeous lid color, incredibly wearable too.

Love this shadow! It's smooth, blends well, and is the perfect shade of gold, it's not too loud, like MAC Amber Lights, but enough to flatter the eye.

I've been lemming for this and another MIlani eyeshadow since I saw Goldenchild789 use them in tutorial. Like the other ladies said this is light on the gold. On me the gold is not visible but I love it anyway. This has very subtle shimmer. It is not glittery like so many shadows. It applies smooth and the color showed up beautifully with out a base. This is a plus because I have severe discoloration on my eyelids. This and sun goddess are gorgeous. Im NC 50/55 for reference.

This is a beautiful colour and has a great texture. It applies really well and has minimal fall out.

I love this shade. I just saw it at the store tonight. It hasn't been discontinued everywhere I guess?

I would love to repurchase this product but it's been discontinued!!!! Golden Bronze is like a khaki-ish golden brown. I love the color and the texture is like my Stila shimmer eye shadows.

I originally thought that this color would wash me out, but I have started using this as an eyeliner and it is beautiful! In the pan it is a deep metallic gold with lots of shimmer. When I apply it though, it is really creamy and pigmented and surprisingly neutral. This makes my blue-grey eyes look amazing! I have always loved the Milani eyeshadow packaging, if it only was a little easier to open. This is a high quality shadow that I would definitely buy again, the metallic shine is so eyecatching when used as a liner! continued >>

Love this! A very pretty medium bronze shadow with golden ( duh) undertones and just enough shimmer. Unlike so many other bronzes it doesn't have any overt orange or red tones, it's rather neutral. I could see this working for most people. At this price give it a shot!

Exactly like UD smog! Golden bronze is a bit more metallic, other than that its the same color. With primer, this shadow lasts and looks sweeeet! The texture and blending is comparable to ud and mac and its about time a drugstore company really tried. Now, which would I pick if a crazed bitch demanded a bronze eyeshadow from me or she'd spank my ass, call me fat and spike me with heels...? I say I'd rather keep both and look cute with milani and ud blended together and let the bitch smack my ass. I would just hope she were cute too.

Golden Bronze looks more dark yellow gold than bronze on my DDD NC45-50 skintone. I thought I was imaging it at first, but I agree with the reviewer below who says there are some olive undertones in this. The quality of this shadow is outstanding - buttery smooth, blendable and comparable in every way to Mac Lustre eyeshadows. Pairs well with Milani Antique Gold eyeshadow.

Gorgeous color. More golden than bronze on me (I'm NC25, dark hair and eyes). Lighter and more golden than MAC's Bronze, which means that 1) it's easier for me to wear and 2) it's absolutely divine as an accent to green eyeshadows. Quality is comparable to Stila and UD -- which for me is one of the highest compliments available. I LOVE it!

This is nice, I like to wear it by itself or with a little liner for a no fuss look. Reminds me of MAC Patina, kinda, but a little deeper. Not really "Golden Bronze" to me, but thats nitpicking. More like a golden olive-ish brown. Milani e/s are good, but Stila has spoiled me and it can be tough getting a good saturation, blending takes some work too. For 3.99 though, its worth it.

I love Milani eyeshadows for the simple virtue that they are SO easily depotted. I love palettes, as it allows me to carry aaaaalll my makeup easily.
Golden Bronze is a shimmery, browned-down, bronzy color that I use pretty much every day in my crease. Very natural looking, and would make a great smokey eye (if only I could pull one off!) I prefer this over Antique Gold and Sun Goddess. It's subtle, and not too red on my Asian C35 skintone. Lasting power, pigmentation, and texture are all fantastic, trademarks of Milani eyeshadow. Definite repurchase when I run out.

I really wanted to like this. I bought it because of the rave reviews. I've been wanting a really great bronze eyeshadow. This is NOT it for me. The color looks muddy on me, not flattering. Every time I blend it with another shade, it turns up looking nasy gray. Not the best look for me. I'll keep searching. I like the Milani shadows, but this one won't be repurchased.

This was my first milani find. Its a pretty color but the texture alone makes me want to toss it. Its very gritty and it doesn't last long on me.

golden bronze, to me, is the lighter version of MAC bronze, which is my HG of bronzed brown eyeshadows. there is also a slight olive green undertone which makes this flattering on my coloring and with my brown eyes. as with the majority of milani eyeshadows, the texture of this is wonderfully smooth, and the staying power is good with an eyeshadow base. however, i will not purchase this color again, simply because i dont find myself reaching for it enough to justify another purchase (and also because this means itll take me forever to run out!).
