I been a fan of the Clean & Clear daily pore cleanser for years, every since I was 22 and I'm 27 now. I use to have black heads really bad after using this product I have absolutely no blackheads in my face, it's true the packing is poor quality, the product coming out and being messy but other than that I absolutely love this product I mean everything has it's downfalls.. I use this as apart of my daily facial routine.. I clean with this in the morning and sometimes i use my facial cleaning buff when I want that extra clean feeling and it feels sooo amazing.. I'm now working on a new regimen for my face but I will not change from clean & clear as my morning/daily cleanser .. I do want to try cetaphil I've heard good things about it... but overall this is a wonderful soft product it does WHAT IT SAYS it cleans the pores and also it got rid of all my blackheads, I did see where people was saying that it said it get rid of all the make up... No where on my packing does it say that or maybe I'm reading wrong lol . but yes I will continue to use this product hands down!!! :) continued >>

I've been using this cleanser for more than a year now. I think it's the best cleanser I've used, but I don't feel that it's good enough. I went on Accutane a few years ago, and that helped clear up a lot of the zits I got (would never get many, but I would always have one or two that were HUGE), and wanted something to clear the zits I'd still get occasionally.
I find that this product helped, and I love the price and that I can find it anywhere (Canada doesn't have all the cleansers available in the States!). I'd buy it again, but I think I'll also try something new.

This was my first cleanser ever. I first bought it when I was in 7th grade (I'm a junior in high school now). I didn't get much acne back then, just one small one that dries up in a day, but I decided to buy it just because.

I like the smell. Anyways, I love the microbeads. It gently exfoliated my face, and it was gentle enough to my young skin. Sadly, when I was 13, I didn't know that much about skincare, so I had this cleanser, but I didn't use a moisturizer at all. I develop itchy small bumps on my face, but it was my fault. Not the product's, but I did quit using it for a few years until a few weeks ago. Those bumps disappeared after using moisturizer from the same brand after a few weeks. The weird thing is I went through one full bottle and a half before stopping lol.

I saw the same bottle (old packaging) I had when I stopped in my medicine cabinet and decided to give it a try. I've been scared to exfoliate my face because over the years, my skin became sensitive. I have no clue why. But this product didn't cause me any problems! I use it everyday, and it never over dries my face. It's gentle for my easily irritable skin, and I still love the smell. I actually finished what's left from a few years ago, and went ahead and bought myself another one.

I started breaking out out of nowhere earlier this year, and I find that this cleanser helped with my acne scars a little bit, and it also cleared up my face. It wasn't bad acne, just small ones, but they would appear like 3 at a time, and it was frustrating. I think I just really needed a good exfoliating. The dead skin cells on my face probably caused my breakouts.

I dislike the packaging. Too flimsy, but I learned an easier way to open it without wasting product. I turn it upside down so the product is away from the cap, then I open the cap and gently tip it forward into my hand. But I don't mind the hassle that much.

Price = cheap
Packaging = quite good
Would you buy this product again? = NO
Why?
Firsst it makes my face so smooth,but in the next morning,my blackhead whitehead and acne become worse,
I thought it's a purging process,and it's successfully turn my mild acne into moderate acne. Well after I stop use this,my skin back into normal,just some comedones and small acne. Thanks God for stopping me using the product so it's not destructive with my face

Not a bad cleanser at all. While I don't wear a lot of makeup, it does a good job of cleaning my face without stripping it. I had been using Burt's Bees Acne Cleanser, but found that it was not cleaning my face well enough, particularly during these hot summer months. This has been a good step up. The small exfoliants are a nice addition to the cleanser, which has a light, not offensive, soapy scent. All in all, I think this is a good basic cleanser, especially for the price. I'm finishing my second bottle of this stuff and I really have no complaints about this product except for the packaging. It lets the product spill out really easily!

I just started using this cleanser, but so far I love it! I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my skin. Before I would have a problem pimple and just as it would start to clear up s few more would come up. It was a never-ending process. Now I get less problem pimples and this face wash helps to clear them up. It also does a pretty good job of removing my makeup. Plus, it doesn't dry out my skin, and I find that a lot of products do. The only reason I an giving this cleanser a 4 and not a 5 is because it does not help with eliminating the oiliness of my face, but I am willing to deal with oily for a great cleanser, as I have always been oily anyway. Overall, love and would buy again.

PRICE: moderate to kinda expensive (about $7.50)

PACKAGING: terrible! the tube is the squeeze kind and i feel like it is too flimsy. the product is also petty liquidy so it is very messy.

CLEANING POWER: i felt like it didn't really clean at all. i was looking for a deep cleanser (pore cleanser), and this product was very deceiving.

SIDE EFFECTS: i have combination skin, i felt like it dried out my cheeks, forehead, and chin very much, and kept my nose kind of shiny. it also enlarged the pores on my cheeks (near my nose). it also made the skin around my nostrils rough

PROS: smells nice, did leave my skin a little smooth (except my nose)

BOTTOM LINE: Terrible product, it was a waste of my money. i will NEVER EVER buy this product again, it didn't do anything a cleanser was supposed to do!

This is an OK cleanser.
Pros:
~the beads in it feel good
~really cleans all the oil off my face
~not drying
Cons:
~If I have a full face makeup on like Revlon Colorstay it will not come off with this cleanser I have to wash my face 3x to get all the foundation

I've been an avid Neutrogena person all my life, but I only went out to buy this after seeing ratings on MUA.

I was upset that it doesn't have any acne medication (salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide), but it's been doing an okay job of keeping my face clean.

Doesn't leave my skin dry, but doesn't do any miracles of any kind; no pore shrinkage or acne vanishing going on.

However, a feature that irks the HECK out of me is that IT SPILLS SO EASILY. all over the place if it's not clicked into place all the way closed. So it goes without saying that I've lost more than a little bit of product from carelessness.

I've never had that happen to me while using the Neutrogena scrub, but besides that, I think it's a very meh product all around. It's great to have to make sure that I'm not over-exfoliating from only using the Neutrogena scrubs, but a little disappointed for a 4 star rating.

I love this cleanser. I'm already nearing the end of my third tube! I was initally attracted to it because it earned a 'Paula's Pick' rating on Beautypedia. I use it morning and evening with my Olay Advanced Cleansing System brush and it gets my skin clean, refreshed, and ready for my other skincare products. This cleanser does not contain any irritants that will inflame your skin. Also, this cleanser isn't meant to take the place of your exfoliants. It's just meant to give you a little more help in between, which is great for people like me with oily and clog-prone skin. I will agree with other reviewers that the packaging is a little flimsy and annoying, I try to counteract this by squeezing out the product when the bottle is turned at a 30-40 degree angle and then snapping the cap cover back on, as this eliminates product from dripping onto the lid cover. For reference, I am a Retin-A Micro user and this cleanser works great for me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone out there in a similar situation, or just anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, non-irritating cleanser that cleans the skin well.
NOTE: I notice that the size of this product keeps getting smaller - it used to be 156 mL, and now it's only 148. What's up, Clean and Clear?!
