Excellent product, excellent packaging I always use it in winter for my very dry skin. Works great under make-up.

I have been using The Moisture Magnet as a night time moisturizer for about 12 years, on and off. I always come back to it in the winter because it's one of the few things aside from a mixture of hyaluronic acid + emu oil that will soothe and moisturize my dry, winter skin.
This is too heavy for under makeup, but absolutely perfect for just before bedtime so it has a few hours to soak in as you sleep. I wake up with glowing, moist skin and any dry areas that were flaky are easily removed in the morning just by rinsing my face with a very mild cleanser and a Spa Cloth.
I've purchased this year after year and will continue to!

I bought this product during winter season because of my skin drying with the colder weather. I was looking for something priced a little lower than my regular stuff because I needed moisture ASAP. I purchased it at ULTA. I went home, washed my face, and applied this "moisture magnet" immediately. First of all, the directions said to not get it in my eyes so I applied it around my eyes thinking it would help any dry skin around there. It somehow leaked into my eyes and burned for over an hour. But I figured it might at least add moisture to my face, my skin actually started to crack with a few days of usage. I usually use Shisheido, and have tried almost every brand at Sephora. Mario Badescu is dissapointing and priced average for something that does not work at all. I will never purchase from this line again.

This product went on nicely, moisturized nicely, but broke me out by the end of the day. 6 monsters- thanks, Mario. So I can't give it a good review. I'm beginning to believe Octyl Methoxycinnamate aka octinoxate breaks me out. I've just started paying attention to ingredients, but I don't think parabens are very good for skin either. I did give it a 1 for Price because it was a free sample. Which,if you like free samples and don't mind a little spam, you should go to the site and fill out the questionnaire. Nice shipment of free goodies.
Deionized Water, Peanut Oil, Propylene Glycol, Carnation Oil, Parsol MCX, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Pentavitin, Silicone, Gardenia Extract, Propylparaben, Methylparaben.

This is a great everyday moisturizer for my very dry skin. It really seems to suck moisture in, instead of sitting on top of my skin all greasy. This goes on quite thick for an everyday moisturizer, and might not be a good choice if you are prone to breakouts. The price is great, though it's hard to get the last of the moisturizer out of the little squeeze bottle. I also wish the SPF were higher.

I love this moisturizer! It's a little thicker but that just means that a little goes a long way. I also have normal to dry skin so the moisture content in this is just right for me. The smell is nice and it is not greasy at all. I used to use this and then I tried the AHA & Ceramide Moisturizer once I was out of it. I found that one to be kind of greasy so when I finished up that bottle, I went back to the Moisture Magnet. I like it sooo much better. continued >>

I am also surprised by the bad reviews. this stuff is awesome! its pretty thick for a lotion, very hydrating, makes my skin uber-smooth, and has SPF. completely gets rid of dry flaky patches of skin. I had gotten my grandmother (76) to try this stuff (she had run out of moisturizer) and she sompletely flipped over this product! she said it was the best face moisturizer she had ever used! I like this one because its the only one that has actually done anything. (others I found were never any better than regular body lotion)

I'm surprised by the negative reviews of this product. I really love it. I have sensitive combination skin and most moisturizers turn my face into a landscape of oil slicks and flakey dryness. This product balances the skin and keeps it impeccably moisturized (and protected, because its SPF15). It really does a great job of preparing my skin for cosmetics. It doesn's smell weird and has a great texture. Its my HG moisturizer. Get some free samples from MB and check it out.

On the plus side : It isn’t thick , it isn’t runny. It has no unpleasant smell. It is a nice colour to look at. It dries semi-matte , so feels comfortable for most skins.
On the cons side : It isn’t anything more than a simple moisturizer. It also flared up a bit of rosacea on me. ( or what I think of as rosacea , tiny itchy red bumps that sometimes appear on the cheekbones).
Verdict : You could live without , as I can.

Very very Basic moisturizer, didn't break me out but didn't do a lot of 'calming'either...guess I'm back to the drawing board with moisturizers. So many celebs use this line and I have NO idea why. Really, no clue.

LOVE this moisturiser! Very soothing and not too greasy, its perfect for this in between autumn weather and possibly winter too, maybe a bit too rich for summer. LOVELY stuff!
