I received this lip gloss in a swap and, at first, I didn't pay much attention to it, now I'm obsessed with it!
I only own 2 Aveda glosses. Both of them have a minty cooling effect, which only lasts for a few minutes. Other than that, no overpowering taste or smell.
The color is a shimmery neutral. It's sheer, but capable enough of somewhat toning down my natural lip color, leaving a champagney/goldish shimmer (very subtle, not at all sparkly).
I love to use on top of l/s like MAC Tanarama for a shimmery nude lip, or with any other shade, applied in the middle of my lower lip, to make it appear more full. When applied alone, it's a step up from using clear lipgloss, it'll make lips look more polished and shophisticated.
It has a doe foot applicator that performs well.
I'm very pleased with this gloss (as with the other Aveda one I own) so I'd repurchase it when I finish it up.

I loved this color when I saw it on my hand in the store. When I first tried it at home I was a little disappointed in how light it went on...however, now that I am used to it, I like it. It's a beautiful light neutral shade that's perfect for an un-made up natural look. I wear it to yoga class or on the weekend days. It stays on well, feels good and is really very pretty. I'm looking forward to trying another shade of the lip glaze with a little more pigment for evening wear.

This is *such* a pretty color. I am a cool toned FFF brunette and it is so hard to find a nude color that works for me. This looks like a light, neutral beige in the tube, but goes on with just the slightest tinge of pink on me, which takes a few minutes to show up. It does not make me look dead, just so pretty. It is $15 for 7 grams which way beats out MAC's lipglass, which is only 4.8. Has the same shine consitency and lasting quality. It does contain peppermint oil so there is a bit of a cooling effect.

This and wineberry are my favorite Aveda glosses....actually they are my favorite glosses period. Kamara fruit is a sheer nude shade. I have naturally red lips and this shade tones it down. I love the slight peppermint smell and it lasts a long time and wears evenly. Looks good over other colors as well.
