I live up north were winter is frigid and can make skin leather-like. Yonka PS pamplemousse helped me through winter. Skin is soo soft like a baby's bum! it kept my skin hydrated all day. I dont even need to put on make up. what i do is mix it with a small amount of liquid concealer and just apply it like a regular tinted moisturizer.. now I have a dewy complexion that my friends are asking me about. the downfall though is this dont have spf.

Although I no longer buy Yon-Ka products due to price and availability - the Pamplemousse moistuizer - which comes now in 2 formulations (Normal to Oily and Normal to Dry - which is heavier and the one I use). smells and works well.

This is my absolute all-time favorite moisturizer. I have dry skin, especially now that I live in Utah, and this moisturizer definitely improved my skin's appearance and it even made it seem like I didn't need as much moisturizer. Usually I have to cover my face with moisturizer after washing, but I lost that feeling after using this for a while. I have never had people tell me I'm glowing (when I am not wearing makeup!), and this did it for me. And, I am totally addicted to the citrusy smell. Definitely worth the price for me. :)

Being an esthetician, and having worked with the Yon-ka line, I believe that these are great products that work for specific skin problems. However, I think a lot of mistakes that people make is that they buy products without being sure of their skin type and therefore end up buying a product that is not the right one for their skin and as a result, their skin reacts a certain way (gets oilier, dryer, breaks out, etc.). Then they think the product is no good, yet they didn't choose the right product for their skin in the first place.
This being said, I think the best basic moisturizer in Yon-ka products is the Pamplemousse cream. The smell is absolutely fantastic (very fruity-citrusy), it leaves your skin smooth and moisturized but doesn't feel oily either. I have used the Pamplemousse "peau seche" (dry skin) during winter and it was perfect.
These products might be a little pricy but it's worth the buy.

Great consistency BUT my sensitive rosacea, SD-prone skin hated it! I woke up with bumps, flakes, itching, rash, redness and peeling after applying this the previous night.
The product texture and consistency is great but not for me.

I bought Pamplemousse after my facialist recommended it. Like another review listed here, I was constantly told that I needed a better moisturizer. I think this leave my dry/sensitive skin nice and dewy. However, I do not use this for the day because I think it's too heavy (I prefer Jurlique Sun Lotion with SPF 35). Instead, I use this as a night cream and I think it's just right.

smells so yummy and does a great job in moisturizing my extremely sensitive skin...no break outs, no rashes, just soft skin

I bought the one for Oily skin and liked it for the first few weeks of use.
However after that it started to dry my skin out.
Frankly I can't blame the product. I got the wrong type - I should have bought one for normal - dry skin.
However I didn't really like the smell a fat lot, was just like jiff cream and it looked like Jiff too!! I think that the fruit acids were to harsh on my skin. Overall this moisturiser was nice but it wasn't worth what i paid for it.
I am now a Korres addict and am using their moisturisers because they seem to be a lot more effective than some of the other "luxury" brands.
I guess a moisturiser can only do so much. I may try them again in the future but not the Pamplemousse.

i bought this a few months ago when I had a Yonka facial for the first time and I have been using this as a night cream. The facialist recommended for tiny broken veins just visible on my cheek as it is supposed to strengthen capillaries. After using it for about two weeks, I could really notice the tiny red marks had faded and in fact were hardly visible (without make up, in a magnifying mirror). I have been using it a night as it is quite a thick cream although you only need a tiny amount. However, I have used it if my skin looks a bit iffy in the morning with a drop of Yonka Serum. I will definitely repurchase this one. Will try and get more products in this range.

This product broke me out. I also felt it was too thick and I didn't really like the heavy scent. I won't buy this again.

This moisturizer had no sunscreen (I refuse to layer another moisturizer with sunscreen on top of it) and it was too thick, it never really absorbed into my skin. Smelled nice though :) Won't repurchase.

I really wanted to like this moisturizer because it smelled so good and all the other Yonka products have really helped my skin. My first gripe is that it doesn't contain a sunscreen. I have combo sensitive skin and I really don't like to have to layer a sunscreen on top of a moisturizer. I feel that is just too much. Also it never really absorbed into my skin and felt like I just had a thick layer of it on all day. Overall not good for oily skin but I gave my tube to my mother who has dryer skin and she really loved it. I will keep searching for a good moisturizer with sunscreen though.

I tried this and really wanted to like it, it was highly recommended to me and I purchased the one for oilier skin. I did not feel like it really moisturized my skin and although the initial smell was nice, it later had an after smell that really bothered me. I also noticed that I started to break out more often. I'm still on the prowl for that HG day moisturizer for my combo/oily 40 year old skin :-(

This moisturizer has worked really well for my finicky, sensitive skin. I am very prone to rough, dry skin and so far this product has moisturized my skin without causing my rosacea to flare up, and finally I found something that is making my skin feel so balanced and really smooth again like when I was 20 (i'm 31). I've been using it for a week so I will give an update, but so far I am very, very pleased!

Great scent. I got a sample of the one for dry skin from a day spa, so I was able to try this over a few days. It gave me enough moisture without leaving a greasy feel to my skin. I really like it and will purchase once my other lotions are finished.

Almost a year ago I had a facial and she recommended Yonka's Pampelmousse. I used it for almost six months before having another facial with a different person. Prior to this, at every facial I was told I needed to use a better moisturizer. At the last one, she complimented me on my great skin - she had no idea what products I used - and was very pleased when I told her that I used Yonka. My skin looks great - much better than some of my friends that are the same age!

LOVE this product! Recommended at my last facial, and it is really great. Wonderful smell, very rich but easily absorbed. It's already improving my nl/dry skin. I love the YonKa line!
