I'm on my second tube and will definitely repurchase this product. I've also tried the Clean and Clear 10% BP as well as Oxy (which both dry and irritate my skin) and this is definitely the better out of the three. It dries my skin slightly as well but nothing a moisturizer cannot fix. I use this at night in combination with clindamycin gel in the morning whenever I get new pimples. I don't include them in my daily routine and instead try to use them every other night because I find them to be less effective overtime as my skin grows immune to BP. Although the label says gel, but it's more of a creamy gel consistency. I'm totally fine with that though because unlike C&C and Oxy, it does not leave behind any white residue when dries, which may be a plus if you would like to use it but do not have a moisturizer at the time. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 mainly because like many acne creams, it takes some time to work. It's not a miracle worker and don't expect it to be either. Also it doesn't seem to be readily available in my local drugstores (DR, CVS, ect.) I found mine in Bed, Bath, and Beyond. continued >>

Sure wish I'd read the most recent comments about this before I tried it! Even behind my ears itch... and I didn't even put it there.
Since I had my son, my face is unpredictable at best now, not to mention these lovely fine lines I'm getting. (Could call it "texture" ;) BUT this crap made me itch, burn and I have some sand-papery feel on my face now! Awesome pink color and the zits are now lovely shade of (swollen) red. Those fine lines??? SO MUCH MORE NOTICEABLE NOW! Just what I always wanted.

Do NOT buy this! I tried it on a couple small pimples I had and left it on overnight, when I woke up, not only were they red and inflamed, but the one on my forehead was swollen and itchy! It looked like I had a huge mosquito bite. I wish I never used it to begin with! This stuff is funky, dont touch it.

very thick and kind of grainy, not smooth and hard to spread evenly on face, but I guess this is a spot treatment which is where i went wrong :/ i put it over larger areas of my face and now my cheeks are inflamed super pink and itches and stings all day.
edit: ;( lol so i found out what i did wrong even more, I guess you're not suppose to exfoliate before using benzoyl peroxide? haha i used my clarisonic...if thats like exfoliating thats prolly why my skin is so absolutely horrid right now. feels lik sandpaper, so....everyone whos using this! don't exfoliate!!

This doesn't dry my sensitive skin out which is good for it being so strong. It's a white cream rather then a clear gel which I was expecting. It will bleach fabric so be careful with it. I only get a pimple from stress once in awhile and have learned my skin likes SA spot treatments way more then BP one's. I do think this is a well-made product though, it just depend's on what your skin needs to clear up. I only notice a slight diff hours later with this, with Clean and Clear's spot treatment gel I notice a serious reduction within 1 hour. I will finish this tube but would not repurcase it.

bought this about 6 hours ago and the disgusting, ginormous and ridiculous pimple on my cheek has shriveled up to almost nothing. will definitely keep using this to kill the nasty things!
**edit**
i've been using this product for about a month already and WOW. it worked very well on the first pimple but not too well on a few others. however, i kept applying the gel on a daily basis and this stuff is wonderful for prevention. since i've started using this, i've yet to have a pimple and the blackheads on my nose have dissapeared. granted, i do have a regimen and zapzyt isnt the only product i use against acne, but i have noted a definite difference in my skin since introducing it to my skincare regimen. it can be a little drying but its nothing that a good moisturizer wont fix.

I bought this on a whim because i feel like i have tried every product there is for my stubborn acne. My skin is sensitive and since this is 10% BP i only use it at night and i use a prescription gel during the day. I can definitely see a difference in my skin. My skin still isnt fully clear but if i happen to get a zit this stuff makes it shrink and disappear within a day.Other BP products have severely dried out my skin but i have only noticed a little dryness here and there, nothing a little moisturizer can't fix. It's cheap too! I will definitely be buying this again until or if i can find something better but for now this will do.

I have been breaking out lately and wanted to put scar cream to heal my scars but the pharmacist told me I had to treat my acne first with benzoyl peroxide so I found this in the acne isle. I thought it was a greta buy because it was cheap AND it had the maximum benzoyl you could get for over the counter. I began using it last week and can already see a difference. It helped some of my bumps disappear and it also made me have some pimples come out (which in my opinion it is taking out the dirt). The only bad thing it did was make my skin VERY DRY even though I moisturized, yet again i do use it morning and night. I will repurchase but the tube is huge so it might take a while to use it all up!

Holy moly, is this stuff strong. In Canada they only sell BP up to 5%, so when I found Zapzyt 10% BP at Target a few months ago, I hoarded multiple tubes. A little goes a long way, and it was a great tool in helping me clear up some patches of problem acne I had earlier this year. It's not too drying, considering it's 10%, but I still made sure to use a very good moisturizer in conjunction with this treatment. It works, and it's strong stuff. Buyer beware!

I'm SO glad I changed from 2.5% BP to 10%...and I'm even happier that this is the product I chose. I was initially going to go for Clean and Clear...but I bought this one on a whim. I love it - it has cleared my skin without drying me out or irritating my rosacea. I'll keep buying it as long as it is made!

I notice a small difference when I use this. I only use it as a spot treatment. It seems to dry up the pimples a little bit.

I love ZZ, I have been using this product FAITHFULLY for several years and it clears me up and keeps me from having excessive breakouts, yes I still get some here and now....but I think it's mainly from the harsh weather changes in MI, also the way the weather is so up and down here you have to vary how much moisturizer to use EACH day!! Very annoying especially for someone trying to navigate the new hormones of being in her 30's!!! I find that this product adapts extremely well to different moisturizers, just use a damp towel to wipe away white streaks and you're good to go all day and night without looking oily and the price is so cheap for what it does!! GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

One of the only BP's I have found that is invisible and doesn't leave a noticeable white film on the skin. It sinks right in. I have to be careful not to use it too much because I get peely and dry. It's a great spot treatment. Too bad they don't make a 5% too for everyday.

So, this product works well to prevent and heal up breakouts BUT...the consistency of the product is not conducive to applying moisturizer after which is essential when using a 10% BP solution. When the ZZ dries fully, you'd expect your moisturizer to glide on easily afterwards. With ZZ, I've discovered that no matter what moisturizer I follow up with, the ZZ starts to ball up and flake away causing anything but a smooth surface, which is what I look for in an effective acne treatment. Though the price and packaging is sufficient, I'd say I wouldn't purchase this product again. For a cheapo, DS, BP product, I recommend the Equate BP Gel which has just as much BP but absorbs into the skin much more thoroughly and enhances moisturizer application after it dries for smooth, clear results. If I'm not going anywhere and it's summertime in Texas, I'll continue to use the ZZ when I need to for spot treatment just to use up the tube but I will not purchase again.

I don't use this to prevent acne, but to help get rid of it quickly. It works really well at getting cystic pimples to go away quickly.

I used ot use this 2 years ago and for a while then it worked well, but once my skin got used to it, it did nothing. Now I started it again and for 1 week I've been using it twice a day with little improvement. It just dried my skin out in the areas I applied it and didnt get rid of pimples. As much as I wanted to like it, I think that I will stick with higher end brands.

Now, I always get complimented on my skin. How clear it is, how I don't get acne extremely often, maybe one or two on my chin around my period. Honestly, its because of this product. I put this on every night before I go to bed on my entire face (this might not work on everyone, as my skin is extremely sturdy and doesn't get agitated very often), and in the morning it not only prevents any acne that might be bubbling up, but it also just makes my face clearer in general. I usually mix it with my moisturizer (Clean & Clear Dual Action) because its 10% and is quite drying during the winter months, and its perrrfect! Definitely worth trying out! continued >>

GREAT acne treatment - dries zits up in no time at all & at nearly half the price of the 'name-brand'. Like others have mentioned, it is more of a cream than gel. Make sure after you have applied it and it has dried, put a layer of moisturizer over top; light moisturizer if you have oily skin or heavier layer if you have more normal/combination skin. Doing this extra step will keep your face from drying out like crazy, (It is 10% BP after all). This stuff really does work wonders if you do it diligently. continued >>
