This is also one of my least favorite Darphin products - and I love nearly everything of this over-the-top expensive line! The lotion is simply not that moisturising - I need a much more serious product.

I love this stuff. It makes my skin so soft. And a nice smell too. it is pricey, but as it works, and doesn't make me itch, it is worth it.

I have to say this is my least favorite Darphin product and I use practically the entire line. First of all, you don't have to spend a lot of money on body lotion. Second, the scent is overpowering. It is an odd marine scent that just doesn't work, for some reason. And the fragrance lasts all day. So, if you don't like the scent, you will come to loathe this product.

I don't see why this is any different than a drugstore lotion. The scent is nice, but I don't get results.

Received a "deluxe sample" of this product with the bath gel (see review). I took both of them with me on a recent trip. I like the bath gel...but am not so fond of the lotion. It is a reasonably good body lotion and doesn't itch or do nasty things to my skin. However, the fragrance is a little bit of a bother. You absolutely cannot wear any other type of fragrance with it, so you better like the smell of the Darphin lotion (which, for me, was only "okay"). Lucky for me, I had another little bottle of an unfragranced lotion in my travel kit...

Nice Darphin scent, again like the shower gel, nothing to dislike about this product. It does its job extremely well and has no bad qualities. However, for the price, I simply can't justify its worthiness. It's simply a luxury item and one that I wouldn't even pine for even if I had the money. There are other products that are much cheaper that I prefer over this lotion.

Update: (04/2003) I must give it minus 2 lipsticks from my original rating because I've come to hate using the product. The reason being that the first time, I had used sparingly. The second time I used it liberally all over my body and the perfumey smell just about made me choke to death. Take the Darphin scent and amplify it up about 50 - 100 notches and it begins to give you a headache in about an hour. Good for people who love the scent, but it was just a bit much for me and I had to endure the stench the whole day I was at work. A very unpleasant experience and the last time I will be using this on my body. Perhaps it will be relegated to my feet from now on just so I can use up the large sample. continued >>

This is wonderful, and it smells like Lily of the Valley. Too bad spending so much money is obscene for a body lotion.

I am impressed with this lotion for its easy absorption, silkening, and heavenly scent. It is expensive (like all Darphin) but if you can find a deal online, or a friend going to France, a bottle of this would be a lovely finale to your bath!

Nice! Fast absorbing, moisturizing. Great texture and barely there scent. I'm just not sure if this is worth $50, plant extracts or not. :-)

This product is nothing special. It is a body lotion that is supposed to leave skin super soft. It is no better than any other standard moisturizer. The scent is light and rather nuetral. Dont waste money on this one.
