This mascara really holds a curl. I have stick straight lashes that point downwards and most mascaras will straighten my lashes right after I curled them with an eyelash curler. Za Cutie Curl Mascara - Volume does not uncurl my lashes. However, this mascara does not give much volume. It gives very natural looking lashes. It does not clump and really defines each lash, but it doesn't give that "full lash" look to my sparse lashes. If you are looking for curl and definition, this mascara is for you. If you are looking for dramatic lashes, this mascara is not for you. This mascara is easily removed by Lancome's Bi-facil or any other dual phase eye makeup remover.

This mascara hold a curl. I searched and tried many other curling mascaras that did nothing and even uncurled my naturally straight lashes after I curled them. Cutie Curl holds the curl all day and doesn't clump, even with the humid weather in PA.

My favorite mascara of all time. I've tried many drugstore mascaras in Asia and also in the US.
By the far, this mascara works the best on my straight and short lashes. It does not clump after applying more than 4 coats, and looks natural. Great for everyday use.
I don't think it curls my lashes so I always have to use an eyelash curler. It lasts all-day since it is waterproof. An eye makeup remover is necessary to remove it at the end of the day.

I bought this cause I was attracted by the compact casing it was in, and I didn't really do my research... Really regret that now. To me the mascara formula was too thick and I could not build it at all. It really great for everyday, natural looking lashes, and it did add some volume, but after the first layer it started clumping for me. So.. would not recommend this.

i have short and sparse and straight lashes, mascara also tends to smudge on me, even most waterproof ones.
fasio is very slightly better in terms of staying power, but this one can curl without requiring an eyelash curler(fasio doesn't curl for me) -and thats something, considering i have stubborn lashes.
the brush is small, package is small and nifty, curls without eyelash curler(time saver) and is very waterproof. volume is buildable, price is rather reasonable too.
i would buy and buy again. wonderful for everyday use.

Mascara was the first make up item I experimented with when I was a teenager. I have long lashes by asian standard, but unfortunately, my lashes point 45 degree downwards, and my challange is always to keep the lashes up. This is indeed a tough challenge as most volumising mascaras are heavy and tend to weigh the lashes down. ZA Cutie Curl Volume is the only one that is light enough on my lashes, and my lashes stay curled up the whole day!
Plus, who can beat the price? I no longer buy HE mascaras after I found ZA Cutie Curl Volume

This mascara is one of my personal favourites! It's smudge proof, doesn't clump much and really does maintain a curl for the entire day! I love how it doesn't dry out quickly too (i bet you can tell that i'm sooo not a toss-out-your-mascara-after-3-months person!! XD).

Overall a pretty solid everyday mascara. I don't believe in paying more than $15 for mascara as it gets tossed after 3 mths, so I usually get this when on sale. I like that the colour is very black, glossy and doesn't dry out my lashes. The overall look is quite lush and healthy looking. Not quite HG status as it doesn't really lengthen my lashes much, but good for daily use.

Wow.. i really love this mascara.. it really curl, add volume, and look really natural.. perfect for everyday use.. if you want any dramatic effect than this mascara isn't the one.. but if you really want to look for everyday mascara than this is the one.. it doesnt clump and smudge too.. definitely will buy this mascara again..

This is one of the better drugstore brand mascara. The volume works better than the lengthening one.
It does add volume and lengthen my lashes. But comparing to Lancome mascara, there's a big difference. the small brush makes the application easier to reach the difficult places.
So far, it doesn't smudge on me. Pretty worthy.

this is cheap mascara.what i like is it hold the curl the whole day.i have tried lots of mascara,many are too heavy for my lashes.
it does not clump or smudge.however,i don't think it aids in volumising though.

This is my second drugstore-brand mascara, and I have to say it holds up pretty well.

Pros:

1) It does its job of voluminising- the result can be really pretty yet natural, or dramatic
2) It stays on all day
3) Not much flaking
4) Cute compact tube
5) Cheap
6) Brush is significantly thinner than other mascaras- which makes it easier to brush on mascara without getting blobs on your lid


Cons:

1) Sends me straight to clump hell. I mean seriously.
2) Tough to get off when I'm cleaning my face. My previous mascara was easy to wash off because it came out in fibers. This one clings to my lashes like nobody's business- great if you want it to last all day, not if you're tired and just want to sleep after washing the makeup off your face.

Overall this was just an okay mascara. I got compliments on it but considering how difficult it is to put on and remove, I wouldn't buy this again. continued >>

I saw no significant lengthening or volumising. My lashes still didn't curl with simply regular crimping plus this mascara. It was quite clumpy and it smudged terribly.

Packaging: Small slim black tube. Great for purses and travel.
Pros: Nice volume but not too dramatic so its great for the office, holds curl, seperates lashes nicely, no smudging, no flaking, removes easily with cleanser
Cons: Not lengthening, clumps after a while

*WARNING* Not recommended for sensitive eyes. I bought this mascara because it had received rave reviews on the local forums, plus it was on sale for only SGD$10. I've since consigned it to the dustbin.

PROS: The mascara did volumize my lashes, and the colour was very black. It also gives a lengthening effect.

CONS: This has a terrible tendency to clump, and my lashes stick together almost as if i'd glued them on - even repeated combing couldn't separate the lashes at all. That wasn't too bad - a common failing of most mascaras. What deems this particular mascara a loser is that it irritates my eyes so much that wearing it causes grievous harm to them. The formula or fumes or something in it stung my eyes - either my eyes teared or they turned bloodshot. In addition, this mascara also caused tiny bumps to form on my inner lids, which irks like hell and doesn't go away for days. So no, I'm never buying again no matter how cheap it is.

I really want to like this mascara. however, straight to the point. This mascara has very nice colour. but it dried my lashes like dried tree branches. noticed that my eye lashes sheds at least three strands when i try to remove this. also my eye lids get itchy. not very long lasting effect on the curls anyway. why the heck did i really wanted to like this ?? i beg to differ!!

I'm surprised ZA's products aren't more popular around the world.. this mascara is awesome for a drugstore brand. I've used a couple of drugstore mascaras and I have to say that ZA is by far the best. It holds curls, volumes and lengthens too. It does clump a little if you apply too many coats and your lashes may have that spider leg effect, but overall it's a great mascara. I've tried Maybelline Turbo boost, maybelline lash stylist, Lancome Hypnose, Fasio 3D airtech or something and none of them curled as well as ZA cutie curl volume. Too bad I threw my second or third tube away after it dried up because I haven't used it in a long time and I went to experiment with other mascaras. I will purchase it again!

This is the BEST drugstore mascara I'd ever used! The lengthening one is useless but this one is fab! And it works wonders with my shu uemura curler!
