When I first put this blush on my NC30 skin, it was a lovely subtle shimmery bronze glow. However, as the day went on, it started to change into a more reddish and ruddy hue on my cheek. What a shame! Hopefully I can still use this as an eyeshadow, but otherwise this was a waste of money. I keep having bad luck with Mac blushes lately, I think its about time I move on to another brand.EDIT: I have since tried this a a bronzer and it looks great, gives my skin a really nice glow! Added 3 lippies. Still cant use it as a blush though.
Have this color in my MAC blush collection lol and I love it!!! So shimmery and sparkly which is a go to for me in blushes...I use it over other MAC blushes and it works great!!! Will always buy as a staple!
This is not a colour I ever would have picked out for myself. Being pale, I've always been scared of bronze/gold tones that I thought would look harsh, orange-y or otherwise 'fake' on my skin. Thank god for the MAC MUA who convinced me to try trace gold! The colour is so flattering, it really warms up my face and brings out my eyes. Not orange, harsh or unnatural looking in the slightest. If you have a fair + warm complexion like me, give this blush a try!
I absolutely LOVE Trace Gold. I border the fair/medium line quite a bit and I purchased this looking for a very soft, natural looking bronzer. This fits the bill perfectly. Let me tell you, it's absolutely gorgeous. I pair this with Hush as a highlighter and the two products together make my skin glow. Highly recommended.
I love this blush. I'm around NW25 right now and it's perfect. I love the glow it gives my cheeks with a slight bit of tint. This product really brings light to the face in a very summery/natural way. Absolutely love it.
It is absolutely stunning. It makes my skin glow. I am nc25 and i usually wear it over my bronzer. They all.ask me what i am wearing. Always. I combine this with to catch a sailor lipstick. The result is fantastic.
Gorgeousssss! I was orginally tempting to buy this shade because i found out Kim Kardashian's makeup artist tends to use it a lot on her, so me being the ultimate fan i added it to my blush palette! It's a beautiful colour and looks lovely when i'm in my natural pale skin or when i'm all false tanned up (nw25) deffinately recommend this blush love it <3 continued >>
I am actually writing this review as a reminder to myself to quit reconsidering this blush! I am NW20 and no matter how I cut it, it looks ruddy on me (color, but with sheen). The idea of a gold warm me up sounds so nice and interesting. But once on my cheeks, it looks so, so wrong...like frosty bronzer gone bad. I would imagine those that like colors like Margin, would love this too. But I am a Mocha, Fleur Power kind of girl and this just looks so off on me.
Effin beatiful. I'm an NC25 with hazel eyes and dark warm brown hair. I wear it as a blush, on my eyelids, on the cupid's bow. Makes me feel like Oscar Wilde's Salome..."Why does she look at me with her golden eyes under those gilded eyelids? ...A very pretty neutral brown with a golden sheen, never a sparkle. Applied with a light hand, looks very natural and stays on all day. This will last me a lifetime.
I do agree that if you are NC20 and lighter, this would be a perfect blush for you, but Im Nc30 and this doesnt do much for me except give me a nice glow. There is no color pay off in my skin and feels like im putting shimmer on the wrong part of my face =x Ehhhh not my favorite from MAC
