This is one of the best acne cleansers I have tried out! I was quite shocked to read some of the reviews that your skin doesn't feel clean. I don't think that's true at all. You have to use just one pump for your face and neck. I use a facial scrubbing brush and massage my face for 5-10 mins after applying this cleanser. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a cleanser that'll leave your skin feeling fresh and clean. It does tend to make my skin a little dry, so I use it every other day. If this makes your skin dry, don't use it everyday. Use it once in 2 days or every other day. But this is a great product, at a great price!! I didn't give it 5 lips because it makes my skin dry if I use it everyday.

This is the only cleanser that prevents my cleansing oil from breaking me out. It's very drying though and does irritate my skin a little, but cleansers containing sodium laureth sulfate tends to irritate my skin.

Pretty much the crappiest face wash in my arsenal. It irritated my facial skin so I demoted it to a body wash since I didn't want to waste the entire bottle. But it even irritates my skin where it normally isn't sensitive. Never again!

WASTE OF MY $$$!!! Never buying this again. I love other Biore products but I don't like this one at all. I felt like it did not clean my face at all and my skin was still oily and it still had a lot of acne. I do not recommend this product.

I have been an avid user of the Clinique Acne Solutions regimen and I've been told to stray away so my skin doesn't get used to it.
I got this stuff because it was on sale. Lesson learned on why its on sale because it SUCKS.
1. I didn't feel clean at all. 2. I used it in conjunction with my Clarisonic and it did nothing but give me an even worse break out.
Stay away. This stuff is no good.

IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN DO NOT BUY. I have never had horrible skin until I bought this product. It is horrible and makes you peel. I have more pimples than I ever had in my entire life and will not go away. I wish I could take it back because of how horrible it works. I've been using it for about a month now and have a tight face that is dry and full of acne.

This stuff made my chin break out even worse with a bunch of little pimples after just a day or two. Maybe it was bringing all the dirt and stuff to the surface, but I wasn't going to stick around and find out. :( I usually like Biore, so I was really disappointed.

This product does not work at all for my oily skin. I usually do not get blemishes, but when I broke out, this did not help at all. I do not recommend this to anyone with oily skin or (because it didn't help when I got blemishes) anyone acne prone.

This cleanser is great! I massage it on my skin and leave it on there for about 5 minutes while I fan my face. When the air hits my face it gives me such a cooling feeling on my face. I no longer have acne.

This is by far my favorite facewash up to date. I've tried several other brands, such as Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, Clearasil, &Proactiv, but none of these brands' facewashes really did much: my skin didn't get worse, but it didn't get better. I honestly saw results within about 2 days of washing with this. It cleanses well and leaves skin feeling refreshed and clean but not dry. The smell is also pleasant, in my opinion: not something overly sweet or flowery. I think the main factor in this facewash's effect on my skin is that it has salicylic acid. I know from experience that my skin doesn't fare so well with benzoyl peroxide in creams, ect. because it dries out my skin and sometimes gives me cystic acne. So if you're not a benzoyl peroxide kinda girl, this is for you (: continued >>

Pretty good cleanser. I love the 'ice' feeling! I have seen a reduction in blemishes since using this cleanser. It is a bit drying so be sure to use a moisturizer =)

My skin is combination and it really varies from dry to oily. I use Biore products a lot. I would recommend the Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser (this) Steam Activated Cleanser and the Pore Unclogging Scrub mainly. I use all three alternating and not ever day (don't worry) For this product I use it twice a day-- Morning and Night. It is so good at cleaning my face. I would not recommend this product for people with cystic acne because it does not have strong enough ingredients then. For me this is perfect and I love it and was truly surprised by the bad reviews.

I loved the icy sensation after massaging the product into my skin, and i also liked the fragrance.. however after a few uses i started getting dry patches around my mouth area, so i stopped using the cleanser twice daily and only once in the night to remove my makeup. The salicylic acid was probably the cause of this. After using it every night, i would moisturise my face with vitamin E cream, and this hydrated all of the dry areas.
After consistent use, the dryness has stopped and i have stopped breaking out!! love love love it

Please be careful if you have sensitive skin!!! I really wanted to like this cleanser, as I generally like most things Bioré. Unfortunately, this made me break out with painful cystic acne. The first time around, I wasn't sure that this was the cause. I stopped using it immediately, and after my face cleared up a couple of months later, I tried it again just to confirm. After only a few uses, the cystic acne started surfacing again.

This didn't fight my blemishes at all. It made no difference at all. At least it didn't dry my skin out, the only plus to it.

This is a pretty good product for those with oily or combination skin. I didn't see a huge difference with my acne though I have used it twice with large periods of time between uses, but it does clean skin nicely. It was not a good makeup remover at allllllllllll, so I only used it in the mornings. I like the Neutrogena deep cleanser or whatever it is called (the orange one) a lot better.. It cleanses better and was a lot gentler on my semi-sensitive skin! I have acne-prone, combination-oily skin depending on the season, by the way.

this review is posted in the other review of the same product (why are there two? lol) rating based on original product, but i will not repurchase the new formula :{
original was written 6.2.07 then i edited on 6.21.07:
"i cant believe i have not written a review for this yet! i have been using it for months-i used to use marks lets be clear, but i stopped buying when i quit being a mark rep. i wanted something d/s that was comparable & this is better! it smells like cucumber and has an icy cool feeling when i first apply it. zit-wise it is the same as LBC, but i like that the cooling aspect helps reduce the redness on my cheeks. i use it as a mask too, about once a week-i leave it on for 15 minutes then rinse off. best d/s cleaner i have found, and its 2% SA. (same as LBC). i love the pump bottle; will def repurchase, esp for the price. i paid $5 for it at Target, and am almost done with my first bottle (going on 6 months of use here-pretty cool!)
EDIT: 6.21.07 went to Target today to get a new bottle-didnt even notice until i washed my face with it thats it is a "new and improved formula" with lavender oil and eucalyptus. it STUNG and my face is all red :{ if it isnt broke dont fix it! will not repurchase this. hopefully there is something in the same line that isn't "improved" and is still "normal". grrr biore, just GRRRRRRR." continued >>

This product really did not do anything for my skin. Bottom line, it did not help my blemishes, nor did it do anything worse for my skin. While I was using this, I still had the oily, blemish proned skin.

Horrible product!! This stuff irritated my face and the number of zits increased. It's too harsh to use everyday!! I have combo skin and for a while, i thought my face will never clear up until i switched to ROC purif-AC cleaser which is much more milder.
Word of caution: if you happen to never have experienced acne before (like me: i started to get acne 6 months ago and i'm 23), try to use the mildest anti-bacterial cleanser you can find FIRST, before giving up and getting the STRONGER stuff, and give your skin about 28 days to see if the cleanser works for you. You need a full skin cycle to notice any difference. If the cleanser doesn't work for you, that is when you should try something a bit more stronger. Don't start to use the harsh stuff right away (like i did) because you might worsen your acne. Believe me, when they say that acne can happen anytime in your life due to your hormone levels, it is true but the product you use on your face can really screw up your skin's PH balance which is why you need to start with something mild. This stuff DRIES your face and you DO NOT WANT THAT because the level of sebum increases when your skin lacks moisture which makes your hormone levels produce MORE oil and therefore MORE ACNE. If i wouldve known this before, my skin would have cleared up a long time ago.
Anyways, this biore cleanser is real bad. The reason why it's called ice cleanser is because it contains ingredients that irritate the skin which is a way to fool you into believing that this stuff "cleaned" your face deep down. Many companies use this trick to make their clientele believe that the product is working, like ORIGINS, which is a bad idea because using these product actually harm your skin rather than helping or curing. Salicyclic acid is not supposed to BURN your face, therefore the tingling sensation does not come from salicyclic acid but by some non-medicinal ingredients like mint or eucalyptus or, god forbid, some nasty chemicals. In addition, this cleanser doesn't even have a list of ingredients.
I hope this review helped anyone thinking of purchasing this bottle of POISON. I really discourage anyone from using this. There's better out there.
