Along with Alpha Mud, this was one of the first products a teenaged me ever bought, and this was also my first moisturizer. It worked ok, it was light but a bit greasy for me. Oh man the smell! I must've gotten a bad batch, or it could've just been the high level of urea in but it was awful! Like cold cream perfume and pee! And the pee was winning! I threw it away. Can't say I'm sad that they stopped making this. Although Alpha Clean is a different story...I'd love it if they brought that back.

So this is discontinued? Too bad. I kind of liked this lotion..nice and soft and didn't irritate my skin. The smell was a little weird, though, and I didn't like the fact that it came in a jar and not in a pump. My husband got a kick out of this, too, but that's because when I told him the name, his eyes widened and he said (excitedly), "Highly erotic cream?" Hehe.

This was a great cream and was definitely my HG moisturizer. It kept my sensitive combination/dry skin moisturized without a greasy feel, kept my skin from breaking out or getting red and blotchy, and had a nice light texture that I enjoyed using. Unfortunately, now Benefit has changed the product substantially and this version is no longer available. I'd be absolutely thrilled if they brought this back!

I used Clinique's yellow stuff for so long, but my skin was always dry and irritated. I was desperate to find something better. BeneFit's Hyaluronic cream is fabulous. Whenever I put on cream in the past, it was slightly stinging or would even give me tiny hives. The hyaluronic cream has never done that and my skin has been clear, not sticky or greasy, and nicely moist. The scent of it *is* different, I'll admit (it reminds me of the smell of the cold creams my grandmother used), but it doesn't linger and I got used to it quicky - I actually kind of like it now.

This was a product that I wanted to love. After reading all the reviews and the label of the product itself I just had to try. The results were just not too great for me. The first time I used it irritated my skin, so I had to slowly switch my moisturizer. And even after that it gave me a little redness on my cheeks.
I am not too crazy about the smell either. It's a flowery clean, soapy smell, but at least it fades.
The pros of this however was that it did make skin look nice and clean and fresh. Also did prevent breakouts, even though skin was irritated a little.

I'm really happy with this moisturizer. My skin has gotten kind of dry over the past few years, but I still get breakouts. Most moisturizers seem to lead to more breakouts, but this one didn't. It also left my skin feeling moisturized without feeling greasy and heavy. The only thing I don't like about it is the scent, but it's not that bad and it's not really noticeable after a few minutes.

I do have oily skin on my face but purchased to use on the dry areas around my face, and on my neck..and it did nothing for me at all..I felt like it wasn't absorbing into my skin. Just all around a blah product, I've used better moisturizers purchased from a drugstore. IMO, Benefit is over-priced and some of the claims seem outlandish to me, esp. concering their pricier products. I gave this away. 24 dollars, sheesh.

This is a great moisturizer! I always use H2O Face Oasis, but this is the only other moisturizer that works with my combination skin. I stick to Face Oasis in the winter and use this in the summer. It absorbs quickly and doesn't add more shine. Hyaluronic cream is great for skin, and this does keep breakouts at bay. The fragrance is not overpowering. Only problem I have is with the plastic jar...I dropped it and it cracked. I would transplant this into a different bottle. The price is good and it last a long time. Great product for combination skin. Works well when alternated with your staple moisturizer.
UPDATE: Damn you BeneFit. This has been discontinued and revamped into the 'Do it Daily' line. I wish they left it alone. continued >>

Great product! I have mostly oily skin - but it does dry out at times - go figure! The D.H. Cream is the first product I have used that does not contribute to the oily state my skin is already in!

Ok-- i have THE MOST acne prone skin - so i use bp and salicylic acid on my face to keep my breakouts at bay-- but then i get dry skin and flakiness even though i have combo skin-- ive been using this moisturizer for one week and so far-- no breakouts!! i am so excited becausse every single moisturizer that i have ever tried has broken me out in about 2 days-- i use this only at night since it is a bit thick but it feels so good to put over my bp treatment...in the morning i wake up with soft skin- this is the first product that I ever bought from benefit and i am very happy with it-- i really mean it when i say that this is the ONLY moisturizer that i have ever tried that didnt break me out-- yay! finally! And $24 for 2 ounces is not so bad considering that most moisturizers are 1.7 ounces :)

This is my absolute favorite moisturizing lotion. It is lightweight, relatively nongreasy, sinks in fast, and has a pleasant lotion-y smell. Most importantly though, I can wear it everyday and it doesn't cause breakouts. A staple in my cabinet!

Although the price might scare some potential buyers away ($24), it's worth it. I have very oily skin, but this cream keeps my skin smooth, and I've had fewer breakouts.
