This gel cleanser foams up very nicely (if you like that!), and I didn't find it as drying as most gels are for me. On the negative side, though, it's very heavily fragranced; it's not a bad fragrance, but if you're sensitive, you should avoid this. And it stings the eyes. It's an average cleanser, but for this much money, there are many just as good average cleansers out there.

This product gave me itchy hives on my cheeks. I'm usually not that sensitive, so I would stay away from this unless you have no sensitivities.

This product is awesome! It cleans my oily skin as well as other cleansers from other brands while leaving my skin soft. It has a most pleasant smell among all the cleansers I have ever used. Just like heaven!

I am a great fan of many BB products (including her skincare). Unfortunately, this cleanser was a terrible disappointment. I found it to be slightly harsh, yet my skin did not feel clean after using it. I had to blot my face more often throughout the day. Worst of all, I soon broke out. I may have been allergic to something in the product - the fragrance was overpowering. While the packaging is asthetically pleasing, its practicality leaves something to be desired. The metal tube does not work well in the shower and the cap is difficult to twist off (particularly with wet fingers). Even if my skin had not reacted negatively, I would not have been impressed. There are comparable drugstore cleansers for 1/4 of the price.

This is a great refreshing gel cleanser. Very foamy, takes off all of my makeups and non-drying BUT the scent is too strong! If you can't stand lavender please don't try this. If you like lavender, this scents is awaking, great for the morning. I hate the packaging also. The silver tube looks cool but I hate the cap, it's so tiny, I have a hard time opening it when my hands are wet. Sometimes it hurts my finger too:)

I recently just startd trying Bobbi Brown skincare, I have combo skin and wanted to try the gel cleanser because it has a scent to die for! lavender! It breaks down my makeup and does not make my face tight or parched! I just wish it came in a pump dispenser rather than a tube, but who cares it works great!will definetley buy again!

I love this. At first when I tried it a few years ago, the scent was really strong and the soap hurt my eyes. I tried it again an WOW, what a difference. She must have reformulated. Very gentle, yet thorough cleansing. I use the eye makeup remover most of the time, but sometimes when lazy I just use this gel and it removes everything and does not bother my eyes. The mild lavender scent is nice - lavender is a very clean, bathing appropriate smell. Overall, really like, is not too expensive, the tubes last forever, doubles as a brush cleanser. I have combo skin.

Contrary to the previous 3 reviewers, I found that I really liked this cleanser. It is low foam, removed ALL my makeup (though I would probably remove any waterproof mascara first b/c this isn't oil-based and strong enough to remove waterproof makeup), and left no residue, which is something that I absolutely hated from using a lot of cleansers. The added bonus was a gentle lavendar-ish scent and the softness of my skin afterwards...it didn't feel tight at all. I really like this, so I think this is going to be one of my staples for a while.

I got a small sample as a gwp from website. It worked okay. I used it one day just to take the oil off my face b4 applying make-up. It didn't seem to lather much nor did my face feel super clean afterwards. I'll stick w/ my EL gel cleanser.

I gave this a try and though it initially seemed as if it was doing a great job, it was just blech. It didnt take off my mascara and I had racoon eyes. Though it was gentle... too gentle might be the cause. I also found this to be low foam. Maybe it's my preference but it just didnt seem to clean my face completely. Overall, it isnt a bad product but there are so many things that could be better.
