This definitely cleans your face.....I felt like it had stripped me of my skin by the end of this ordeal. Yes...this was an ordeal.....lol my eyes were sore after it and by God do I make sure my mouth is pursed shut when I use this. I don't think I would have ever sworn again if my mother had washed my mouth out with this!!!
Okay okay it's not that bad.....it's a face wash. But as some have described, it's like a foamy soap. Like, crushing and blending a bar of your standard drying soap, and mushing it into a tube.
The scent doesn't offend me. It is the assault on my sense of sight and taste that is off putting. Surely they didn't mean this when they talked about pain is beauty....Definitely need a decent moisturiser after it, now I've bought it I'm going to use it but I blend it with a moisturising exfoliator like St Ives to add moisture so my face doesn't feel like my fingers are tugging at my skin when I lightly brush over my face when I have rinsed it.....
Xx
Definitely not my go-to cleanser when given the choice, but I've been using it lately so I can use it up and it hasn't backfired on me yet. This claims it's for normal/oily skin, back when I first got it I found it to be extremely drying, (I have combination skin, but I was given mine to try after I purchased another Estee Lauder product,) however now that I've found a good moisturizer it's not an issue for me anymore. It doesn't make me break out any more than usual, which I would consider a plus. I do love the scent of this, though I do find it can be a little overpowering when it's used directly around the nose area. One tube can easily last for a long time because the product is a very thick cream, I only need to use about a pea sized amount per wash. This isn't for someone who's on a budget or looking for that "miracle product." It gets the job done, but so do most other facial cleansers, so there isn't anything about this that makes it worth the price.

I would not buy any product from estee lauder. It gave me a break out for a week and half. It will last a long time. I returned this product 2 weeks after I purchased it. Highly up set. I now have dark spots from it.
This is by far the worst cleanser I've ever tried.
It is very strong and contains unsafe ingredients such as Urea and SLS. It severely irritated my skin to the point where I broke out all over my face. Be cautious when trying this product out
My mum uses this and she loves it, so thought I'd give it a go, but nooo! This is sooooo fragranced! I have never used anything as fragranced on my face! It's so irritating! Its literally like a foamy soap or even worse. For an every day use, it would sting my eyeballs out as well as my nose! Okay, it might get make up off, and cleanse your skin well... but I just find that its not worth the pain. For the price as well, psssh! Its impossible to do my make up in the morning right away when i use this. I can barely see for the next hour. My eyes are red, wattery, irritated, stingy...just blergh! And for my breakouts... I dont find that it helps at all... I dont see a difference when I use this on my skin whatsoever.. Very poor product..
I ran out of my usual cleanser, Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming, and I had a tube of this as a potential back-up. It's definitely not as good.
I found it difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube. It's heavily fragranced. Its texture is much thicker than my Clinique cleanser making it more difficult to lather up. In addition to all that, I found this product to be very drying as well. On the plus side, this cleanser is very thorough, my face felt absolutely clean and without residue. No irritation either, despite the fact that it's so strong.
It's not so horrible that I won't finish up the tube but I definitely won't repurchase.
I am a combo skin kind of a gal and this is marketed for normal/combo skin - Ms Lauder, I humbly beg to differ! Oily gals only need apply!
This comes in a sturdy blue squeeze tube, which I like, and it is not terribly dear considering that it is a 'luxury' brand. My low score for the tube is from this morning. I thought I was 'out' of the cleanser; it had been getting harder and harder to get any out for the last few days. Being a sturdy Navy type girl, I cut the tube open and there was TONS left. Seriously tons! Girls, cut the tube open!
Now for the results...this is my AM cleanser; I use an oil at night for removing make up. I've tried this at night and I don't feel that it is enough to remove mascara etc... In the Am it is super effective, perhaps too effective. I am squeaky clean after this. Tight, slightly red, you know what I mean. So if you are oily, this would be awesome, but as a combo girl, it is a little too much for my skin.
Not a cleanser I would repurchse based mostly on being too aggressive for my skin and having a cut open tube on my counter for weeks.

I really like Perfectly Clean Splash Away Foaming Cleanser it is ideal for me. It takes it off everything so easily, and leaves my face neat and clean! It lathers so beautifully and doesn't cause my sensitive skin to flake. I love it!

NEVER AGAIN. My face feels like it's on fire after washing with this. I get red patches and skin feels inflamed, like I washed my face in acid. The wash is very drying and harsh, it stings when used around the eye area. I have small red bumps on my chin that developed since I started using this 4 days ago and my nose is very dry and flaky- something I NEVER had any issue with before in my life. Dissapointing.
