My skin ranges from extremely dry to greasy and is acne prone. This product worked wonders for my hopeless skin! Its lovely and light too! You massage it into your dry skin until it dissapears, then you rinse your face with warm water. Its like it just dissolves all the makeup of your face!
I'm really impressed with yet another amazing Sisley product.
The only thing I am not so sure about is the smell - Its quite strong. But apart from that, I love it and will definatly be buying again!

I got some samples of this product after attending an event sponsored by Sisley. I love this cleansing milk, it's soft and not drying at all for my combination skin. I've been trying to embrace this "no-water" cleansing routine, so I just massage it on my skin and tissue it off (without rinsing). Since I am addicted to my Clarisonic, I only use this method in the morning, but my skin has been so soft to touch and glowing. I took one lippie off as it's so expensive. So far all the products I've been using from Sisley have been totally addictive.

This cleansing milk is like magic, I have no idea how it works, but it does! Because I have combo skin, I've always stayed away from milk cleansers. They've always felt too rich for me and most leave a residue-y feeling after I wash it off. But when I saw that this cleanser was made for combo/oily skin types, I decided to take a leap of faith, and I'm so glad I did!

This cleansing milk goes on almost like a face cream, which had me worried for a second. I then rinsed it with warm water, and all of it came off instantly, along with any makeup, oil or dirt. My face felt very clean and smooth. It was a PERFECT after-wash feeling in between filmy residue-y and over dried squeaky clean.

I would definitely repurchase this and use all year round.

I am a professional skin care expert. I have had pretty bad acne in the past, and skin that is still prone to acne, but I had perfected my product use to get my skin looking great. That was until I became pregnant. My hormones are causing havoc with my skin, and whereas i would usually avoid this product due to it containing many comedogenic ingredients I've had to step out of the box. I gave this a try last night when I was at a loss with my skin. I loved that the application is so gentle. The milk is not thick or heavy, like those of lancome, and the milk doesn't fly to the other extreme of drying out the skin. The smell is lovely. I just lightly moved the milk around my face to pick up make-up, and removed the milk with a warm facecloth. I like that it isn't a soapy wash. It is much more relaxing to use. I like that it does not contain grains that would spread bacteria of cystic acne. I used this in conjunction with the resin complex last night, and instead of waking up to more hormonal whiteheads, I've woken up with softer, smoother skin, and the spots I had have reduced greatly, and I have no new ones. I know these products are expensive but they feel so gentle, and if my skin loves them for the rest of the time of me using up the sample, money is am okay price to pay for my confidence, how I feel about myself, and not feeling too spotty to be doing my job as a skin care expert! please see my review on the resin complex too for oily, conjested skin.

I got a generous sample of this cleanser. While the cleaner had a pleasant smell and texture, it did not completely remove my makeup. Once I swiped my face with a toner, I found traces of makeup. I really wanted this product to work because I like the botanical/natural concept; it left my face very smooth. Too bad...I threw away the rest of the sample.

i use this cleansing milk as a makeup remover and it does a great job. 2 pumps are enough and unlike some reviewers, it doesn't dry up my skin at all.
the drawback is the price but i would still buy it again...it actually lasts more than i expected and i only use it at night, to remove make-up or when i don't wear make-up, to get rid of the greasiness from being out all day.

It does remove makeup..eer....smell is ok..i still do double cleanse ..my first time using milk cleansing remover is more suitable for sensitive skin cuz I tink is gentle enough..i wouldn't repurchase again cuz it quite expensive thus its only a "so so" cleanser..

It has very strong scent. It cleans make-up well, but I don’t think it would be appropriate for removing waterproof make-up. After using it, my skin looks wonderful; it is soft and smooth, but I think that the product is a bit drying (after all, it is made for oily skin), so I suggest using some alcohol-free toner with the milk.
The packaging has a pump and it is very hygienic. You also don't have to use a lot of product, so the bottle should last very long.
This stuff is very expensive, so I’m not sure I would ever purchase it again, because I’m sure I can find something cheaper.

I thought that I should give this milk a try, before I used Lyslait for almost a year and liked it to the point where I thought it to be the perfect cleansing milk, even banished Buff&Wash from my routine. Then I tried this one... It's like a less rich version of Lyslait, CM/w Sage cleanses just as good, is just as gentle, give the same "Sisley-glow" but leaves my skin oil/shine free (Lyslait tends to leave my skin a bit shiney when just tissued-off). That all makes CM/w Sage the perfect thing for my morning routine since I no longer use products that requare rinsing off with water (has improved my skin tremendously, less flakies, less sensitive and red and less breakouts - guess I have really bad water :p). The only thing I dislike is that weird soapy scent, but as that fades really fast and is quite weak - I try to look past that. Other that that - antoher perfect Sisley product that my skin loves! continued >>

I have started to venture into and examine $$$ skincare, I assume it could be because I'm starting to get to the age which I *start* to worry about aging and can financially afford to try out a bunch of them. The concept of Sisley is not dramatically innovative (not "cellular" like La Prairie, or "magical broth" like La Mer) . It is supposed to be very natural and utilizes the benefits of essential oils. Sisley believes that the inherent relationship between humans and nature would mean that the human skin would benefit the most and "recognize" the properties of natural plant extracts and essential oils. I like the concept of it, but now let's move onto the product and see how effective it is in my opinion.

Sisley's Cleansing Milk with Sage is a gentle, purifying cleansing milk designed for combo/slightly oily skin types. My skin type has become drastically different from my younger days (used to have perfectly balanced and normal skin). It is now the combination skin type in which I can get slightly shiny on the t zone and dehydrated on the cheeks and eye area. The texture of this cleansing milk is very silky and smooth, a light lotion texture that spreads easily over my skin. The scent is a very natural herbal scent, just like most Sisley products, which I love love love because it is sooo therapeutic and relaxing and non artificial (I'm talking to you, Lancome).

I use this cleansing milk on dry skin, I find that 2 pumps is the perfect amount for me. After my makeup removal procedure, I massage this onto dry skin, focusing on my t-zone, especially my chin which is easily congested. It doesn't sting or irritate my skin, even when I might have a sunburn or slightly chapped skin. After massaging, I add a little bit of water and emulsify the product and quickly massage for another minute, then I rinse off with lukewarm water and blot with a towel. This is NOT meant to remove heavy makeup so do not expect it to do that, but I do wear foundation daily and only use a makeup remover on my eyes and lips and this cleanser seems to remove all traces of debris and makeup and oil.

The results? beautifully cleaned and soft skin. My skin NEVER gets tight with this cleansing milk, just purified and relaxed and smooth, it also doesn't strip my skin at all. I like the idea of the ingredient of sage because it is a natural purifying agent. However, I don't think this would be great as an evening cleansing product in the summer because I prefer a foaming product for that. It certainly is great for mornings and drier/colder weather when my skin is a little more dehydrated. This is almost HG material for me, except I'm constantly trying new products so I rarely repurchase anything. FYI, I have been using Sisley exclusively for a month because I want to see how it would affect/change my skin in terms of condition, texture and benefits. It is a very expensive product though, but it IS Sisley so it is expected. I'm not saying that it outperforms all the low and mid end brands dramatically, but it is an excellent and well formulated product for those who would splurge on it and demands the most prestigeous of the prestige. continued >>

So I did.
It's a nice cleanser but doesn't work for my skin type. I bought it because I like how it smell.

love this cleanser so much so that i introduce to my sisters..haha..this 'magically' cleanser is great for young , combo skin..our skin glows upon usage. I have a love-hate realtionship with this cleansr. Its good..but to spend SGD118 on a cleanser that can be used for only 4 moonths seems not a wise move..but if any of you have the spare cash to afford.. i am sure this will be the best cleanser. I tried cleansers from kose , estee lauder , clinque , lancome , sk2 , Dior , Chanel , Guerlain..only this Sisley cleansing milk fits into the picture. I was lured to Sisley by the cleanser..so now i am already using ecologica compound , restorative facial cream , radiant glow masque , buffing cream and more masks..haha..great product but too expensive for a current student like me..

I received a gift size of this and at first, I didn't want to try it at all coz I don't like washing my face with cleansing milk since in the past, the cleansing milk that I've tried left me with a super greasy feeling and I felt that my face is not clean at all. Therefore, I prefer an oil or gel type ; however, I gave it a try since it's Sisley and I think it should be ok. Wow.. it has changed my view of cleansing milk. It is so fresh and gentle and doesn't make my face feels so greasy at all. It's very light and remove all the makeup easily. No need to rub or anything. Love it!

Fresh, light, natural ... although a milky cleanser, this is a very light and fluid cleanser, removing makeup (including mascara) with ease, yet very gentle to the skin. Skin is left feeling soft, supple and refreshed... I love the sage in this cleanser, gives a clean, fresh smell and makes it delightful to use ... have trouble stopping as I want to keep re-washing my face over and over ..... wonderful cleansing experience, although a bit on the pricey side!

I tried this cleanser from a sample. It was very drying for my skin, although it's a milk cleanser. The smell is not that natural at all and the price is too high. May be it would work better for me in the summer.

This is the best makeup remover I have ever used! It's so gentle but remove makeup like charm. I truely believe that spending time and effort cleaning your face will make your skin beautiful! I use the Sisley Gentle Eye makeup remover for the eye area and the cleansing milk with Sage for the whole face. My face feels so clean after that!
