I love this product so much. I wear the shade porcelain in Bobbi Brown and this is the perfect flushed colour for me. It adds life to my face while still looking natural.I also think this blush would look gorgeous on deeper complexions. The colour is a bright cool pink and works really well with my warm undertones. The texture of this blush is really nice and a small bit goes a long way. I have been using this everyday for the last 3 months and am still to see a dent appearing in this product.

I always thought blush was a less important beauty product, so I only had cheap drugstore ones that never really matched my skin tone and rubbed off. I bought Bobbi's book, and loved her look (gel eyeliner and blush) so I decided maybe it was time to try a nice blush. Originally, I was buying a Bobbi Tinted eye brightener, but the makeup artist put this blush on me and I was in love. I'm a Mac NW20, and this color is PERFECT. If you're around that skin tone, I highly recommend it. It's not as bright as it looks in the package. But you really only need to lightly tap your brush in it, and then tap off excess to get a natural look. It's very pigmented and lasts all day!

I use this for a great pop of color on the apples of my cheeks. It's a nice, natural color that's more of a bright rose than a Barbie pink (Pale Pink looks more like a Barbie Pink to me). Definitely use a light hand when applying, and it blends well so it's easy to add more later.

I use this with Tawny and they look great together on my light-medium olive (BB 3.5-4) skin.

I love this blush! It's perfect for light skinned, pale peeps like moi. It's smooth and easy to blend.

It does look scary bright in the pan but don't be afraid. You can make this work it you use a light hand. I bought this because one of my favorite bloggers Veronika of Veronkia's Blushing raved about it in her blog and on her You Tube channel. Veronika buys way more high end stuff than I do but I thought I would give it a go and return it if I didn't like it.

I love the packaging, it's really modern looking. Maybelline copied this design and now uses the same black box concept for some of their products. I'm used to plastic Cover Girl, Maybelline and Wet n Wild packaging so the Bobbi Brown packaging is nice but why no mirror? For this price you should get a mirror.

I went to Neiman's to buy this and yes, buying high end makeup is nice. It's nice to get some personal help and it's nice when they put your product into a Neiman's bag. Wow...I felt so awesome strolling around the mall with my Neiman's bag! Ha..ha..but not so awesome that I plan to make a habit of it. I only let myself buy a few high end items a year and then I keep them ONLY if I really love them. I don't want to get into a habit of buying expensive makeup! Splurging once in a while is fine but I don't plan to make a habit of purchasing $25.00 blushes.

Do I think this is worth $25.00? Yes and no, but I'm a pretty frugal person. Somebody else might think $25.00 is chump change but I come from a place where I have worked since I was a teenager so I really, really, and I mean like REALLY hate to throw my hard earned money down the drain. Twenty five buckeroos for a blush is not something I sneeze at, but I do allow myself to splurge on items such as this a few times a year. Like I said before, do I really think this product is WORTH $25.00? The honest answer is no considering the fact that I know that this product probably cost $2.00 or less to manufacture. There are other costs involved with this product that include marketing, advertising and salespeople's commissions which bump up the price. It IS worth the price if I am happy with the results, and I am.

I like it enough to keep it and I have used it almost every day since I bought it. It really does give my skin a pretty POP of color. It's also not drowning is shimmer and sparkles with is the case with a lot of blushes on the market. It is not completely matte either; it just gives my skin a nice sheen.

Sonia Kashuk Flamingo is an almost exact dupe of Bobbi Brown Peony. I have both and they are almost identical. Peony is just a bit pinker, while Flamingo has more peach. If you don't want to shell out $25.00 for Bobbi Brown, you can get an almost exact dupe for around $8.99 by buying Sonia Kashuk Flamingo.

This is the first Bobbi Brown product I've ever purchased. And it definitely did NOT disappoint. At the counter, I was between peony and pale pink. Both are so pretty! I ended up choosing peony.

I'm medium-toned and this blush looks perfect on. (I'm sure it works well with other skin tones, too!) I find it to be the best tint of pink on my cheek. Also, although the color appears BRIGHT in person, don't let that fool you! It applies beautifully.

_____________
Pros:
- applies beautifully to suit most skin tones
- pan is magnetic (adheres SO well to my Unii palette)
Cons:
- bumps can form on the actual blush itself (I talked to the Bobbi Brown rep and he said that it was normal. It is most likely the oils from my skin reacting to the product. It didn't change the way the blush works, it's just not aesthetically pleasing. :-\)

This is a beautiful blush, no doubt about that. It is a bit more subtle in tone than Pale Pink. I compared them on each cheek, side by side and pale pink was the chosen favorite becuase of the glow factor. Just something that Pale Pink has delivers such a great wash of color that looks so nautrual and looks good no matter what the season. While I do like Peony and it is a close second my fav is still Pale Pink.

Love this color. I have never purchased Bobbi Brown before but after buying this and one of their lip glosses I am hooked. When the SA showed me the color I was a little hesitant...it looks Barbie bright pink in the case but on my skin it is the perfect pink to make my dark brown eyes and hair pop. The texture is great and it lasted on my skin which was great since most blushes fade away within an hour or two of application.

In the same way that you can't judge a book by its cover, you can't judge a blush by its shade in the pan. As other reviewers have mentioned, this blush is very bright, a striking, bubblegum Barbie doll pink in the pan, but looks so much more natural on the skin. I am NC25 with yellow undertones and was surprised that this color works on me, but it looks natural and gives me a perfect pop of color that seems to go with many different looks.

I've had this for ages and recently rediscovered it...and I'm so glad I did. It looks scarily bright in the pan, but is really pretty on the skin (I'm super fair/pale). No glitter at all, just a very cute shade of pink that really makes my eyes pop and I look more awake.
I like it better than my NARS Orgasm.

Overview:
BB often gets the rep for being boring but I find this blush shows the brand can do fun bright shades as well. The pigmentation of the blush is just right to show up on the skin without requiring a fan brush. It's a bold bright cool tone pink and works for my warm skintone.

My Skin:
I'm combination-oily with a bit of acne. I did have a few years of being acne free but that's long gone. I do react badly to chemical sunscreen and my skin is prone to break-outs to certain ingredients. I can guess you can say my skin is sensitive!
I'm a NC25, Shu 774 (winter) or 764 (summer), and Shiseido O20. I have golden undertones so most brands do not match me. They're either too pink or too peachy.

Product Characteristics (Colour or Textures):
This is a matte finish blush with zero shimmer or sparkles (yea!). I find the colour to be bold but also quite complimentary to my warm skintone. It's not a harsh cool unwearable barbie pink... it's rather a wearable cool pink. Think of your skin when you come in from the cold outdoors. How your skin just picks up this light pink flush... that's the colour!

Results:
I liked the colour a lot for me and I was surprised consdering I'm warmed toned. This would not be the first shade I would pick. The reason why it works is because it is easy to blend so it doesn't look harsh or clown like on the skin. It also doesn't have any shimmer or obscene sparkles so though the colour can be bold, there's no competing finish that makes it look unnatural. I've worn this without any break outs and it's lasted an entire business day. I've also used this for weddings as a guest. I will say it didn't last into the night. It did require a touch up after 7 hours or so.

Cost:
This was C$27 and though that does sound expensive, this is a very large blush so it's a good value. I've yet to hit pan on this and I've had this over 2 years.

Why I Like it:
It was nicely pigmented, the shade was pretty, complimented my skin, and it was easy to blend. It had decent wear time and didn't break me out. I love how it had a natural finish.

Why I don't like it:
It would be great if it didn't fade after 7 hours. That's a minor detail.

Would I buy it again?
Yes. It's a great bright colour to warm up a face!
