I had high hopes for this conditioner since it felt creamy and very moisturizing, but it left my hair feeling weighed down and slightly oily. I didn't get that clean, fresh feeling after I usually wash my hair. It may be good for those with really damaged hair, but it was just too much for me.
idk what it is, but after using this for a week-ish, my scalp got insanely itchy. i wont be buying this again, may try again after a week w/o it to see if its bc of this
I've used a lot of different conditioners and and a few deep conditioners (not high end) and this is one of the best I've used. I noticed immediately when I applied it my hair became very soft and even got the bottom of the bathtub slippery after rinsing it out. After drying my hair it's very soft and healthy looking and I normally have pretty dry hair. It wasn't that expensive either for how well it works. I purchased it after seeing the good reviews online.
This made my hair so soft and the smell is phenomenal! It reminds me of my days as a teenager with long highlighted beach like mermaid locks. Definitely a wonderful deep conditioner. It sure penetrated my damaged strands and whipped em into shape! In combination with the entire line (shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, leave in conditioner) it does the job well! Even with the shampoo and conditioner alone my hair is left in beautiful manageable condition. I would pay more or it. It performs like a salon brand. I'm In love
give me the softest hair after only one use. Really smooth, smell OK. Good for color treated hair. Amazing conditioner
this stuff is a wavy haired/curly haired girls DREAM. especially if you have an oily scalp and dry ends.
it doesn't leave my hair oily, but it leaves it soft and keeps the flyaways and frizziness away without weighing it down into a greasy mess. this stuff has been a LIFESAVER! i can't rave about it enough! it's so much cheaper than salon conditioners and it works way better in my opinion. it smells great too :)
While I doubt I will buy this conditioner again (going back to Paul Mitchell The Detangler) I do find it effective at detangling and softening the hair. I also just realize how to properly detangle and get the best result by combing with a wide tooth detangling comb with the conditioner still in my hair and rinsing it out with cold water--in the past I rinsed with warm water then followed up with a blast of cold water. When I tried that approach with this conditioner-my hair was so hard I had to add more conditioner to soften my hair back up. So I added the conditioner, combed it through and then rinsed the conditioner out with cold water and the difference was major!!!!! My hair was soft and was very detangled and easy to comb. I also had just read that you shouldn't dry your hair with a towel but instead use a Tee shirt--so I grabbed an old rayon and cotton blend Tee that I had and blotted my hair dry. Well all of these changes together have left my hair great!--No tangles, no frizzes. So who knows if it's the new conditioner or all of the other approaches as well. Note- I also used the Triple moisture shampoo--it's just average definitely not buying that again.
I majorly fried my hair a few months ago by using an alcohol-based dry shampoo. It made my hair like straw and it is extremely damaged. I'm losing more in the shower than I ever did before. So I've been trying to find a deep conditioner to repair and restore my hair. So far...I haven't had much luck at all.
First I tried Aussie 3 minute miracle. Worked great for about 2 weeks, then it stopped working. Next I tried Garnier Hydra Recharge-Smells great and made my hair really soft, but didn't do much of anything as far as restoring my hair.
Next, I tried this one. The price is pretty affordable. I think I paid around $6.99 for a tube. You get a pretty big tube for the price. I also like the squeeze tube and flip top. Makes it very easy to use in the shower. The conditioner itself is very thick and creamy. I also really like the scent of this conditioner. It doesn't weigh my hair down.
Even though the tube says that you only need to leave it on for a minute, I leave it on approximately 3-4 minutes and then wash off. It doesn't wash out as easily as the Garnier and Aussie products.
This conditioner doesn't really do what I was hoping it would. When I first get ouf of the shower, my hair looks and feels soft and moisturized. But as the day goes on, the effects don't last. Midway through the day, my hair starts to look like straw again. I think this works great as a regular conditioner, but it didn't realy do much of anything in terms of deep conditioning or repairing my hair.
I recently tried the mask for the first time, and I love it. I thought this would be good for daily use. I have been needing heavier conditioning lately, my hair has been feeling dry. But I am very disappointed with this conditioner. I thought it would be a lighter version of the mask. In fact, I find this to be very heavy, not in a conditioning aspect, but in how it weighs my hair down. My hair feels limp and heavy and really just looks bad after using this. It gives me a definite bad hair day. It moisturizes well (but doesn't help at all with frizz), but it's not worth it to have my hair look so bad all day. I'll stick with the mask.
I'm so disappointed! I was so excited to use this after reading some great reviews on the hair mask, but this is nothing like the hair mask. The bottle it comes in is okay, I would prefer a pump, but I'd make do if I actually liked the product. The first time I used it, It made my hair soft, but I also noticed it was really weighing my already thick hair down. The consistency of the product is very thick and heavy, but I didn't think too much of it and I just kept using it. Well fast forward to now and I'm putting it up to swap. It made my hair all knotty and unmanageable, and the second I switched back to my honey I'm strong conditioner my hair went back to normal. This might work for someone who has hair that is not long and thick like mine, it just weighed me down too much. But might work if your hair is thinner and shorter. Oh well.... the hunt for a good deep conditioner continues.
