I never write reviews but after hearing this may be discontinued I thought-Oh No! It compelled me to get on it and write about this fantastic product. To me, it's a cross between a gloss and a lip balm. It leaves the prettiest pink sheen. Not too pink and not too bare. My lips are very naturally pink and I find this still imparts a lovely glow. The texture is soft and the colour lasts. I've bought it time and time again. Am lost without it!

This is my favorite lip gloss of all time! The color is a gorgeous pinky silver shimmer shine, great on its own for a natural look, or over a lip liner or lipstick. Texture is just thick enough to coat your lips with shine, not too icky sticky or thin. The shine really lasts, and when it's gone you're still left with a subtle shimmer. Best of all, a natural product, so important when it can be licked off! One of the best clear lip glosses out there.
PS Just went to the Aveda store to restock, and they told me that they are reintroducing their makeup line in July 2010 and will be phasing out most of their make up before then; they're not sure which colors will come back so stock up now!

Love Aveda's lip glosses, especially this color. The texture is amazing, they are moisturizing and unscented (thank god for no gross fruity or vanilla scent/flavor YUCK) the ingredients are non-toxic and mostly natural which is always a plus. Looks great, makes lips appear fuller and last a long time. good value IMO. this is the best basic lip gloss IMO.

I normally don't wear gloss. They are always too thick, sticky, and shimmery for me. My lips always dry out and I have shimmer left all over on strange spots, like the cracks.

This gloss is GREAT! Its smells wonderful. The shimmer doesn't stick around after the gloss fades away. Not sticky at all! I love the way it looks after I use this when I put lip stain on first.

I really want to try the other colors to see if they are sheer like this one or leave a tint! Also, a tube usually lasts me a little over 3 months with constant use so its worth the price when I have the $ for it.

I use this as a lip gloss on its own or on top of a lip pencil for more color.
This gloss is easy to put on - it goes straight from the tube, so no need for a brush or to get your fingers messy. The color is very sheer with a slight shimmer. It does not last long, but not many lip glosses do.
I noticed that after I purhcased my tube, mine looked different than the color in the tube at the Aveda stores. Now, a few months later, I notice that my tube has changed colors - it's much lighter than before. I guess it's just getting old, which is unfortunate.

Grapefruit Pulp is my favorite Aveda lip shines, Honeysuckle is my second favorite. It doesn't have too much color, which I like, because I don't like a lot of color. I'm more of a glossy type of person, and this provides a lot of shine! I do however use it on top of Aveda's Sun lip concentrate and I like it that way too.

I love the Lip Shine's and this is one of my favorite shades! I find that these are not too sticky or waxy and the color is light enough where I don't feel like I need a mirror to apply it. Very pretty color that most people should be able to wear - sheer with a slight pink shimmer. Sounds like most people would prefer wearing this over lipstick/liner - which works great! I like it by itself for days I want to go simple.

This looks like a pretty pale pink in the tube, but on my well-pigmented lips it is basically a clear gloss with a bit of silvery shimmer. Since I have other lip glosses that serve this general purpose without having a funky medicinal smell, I would not repurchase. The texture is fairly thick, but not overly sticky, and gave my lips a refreshing tingle, which is nice. This would probably look really good on pale cool blondes, for that ice princess look. I'm a pale cool brunette, and it didn't do much for me.

This is one of the first lip glosses I ever bought so I never really appreciated how good it was until I tried some other brands! The lady at my local Aveda said this colour is especially good for blondes.
Not too sticky, moisturising, the scent/taste is fresh rather than sickly, and the microshimmer gives the colour complexity. Very shiney finish.
Only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is the colour isn't the best on my pale lips. It's very sheer with a silver based micro shimmer so it washes me out if worn on its own. My next purchase will be the lipglaze in pepino. continued >>

This has a very nice texture. Smooth and fairly thick, but not too smooth or too thick. The smell is like spiced tea...different for a gloss. On me this goes on shimmery and basically colorless. It's pretty, but the color doesn't "wow" me. Would be good over liners and lipsticks. Makes me want to try other Aveda glosses.

Very pretty color, works best with a lipliner. I like the shine and it wears better then MAC lipglass which dries my lips out. Not a huge fan of the tube, next time I think will buy the wand.

I really like this product! However, on me, it looks almost like clear gloass because I have very pink lips. It's got some shimmer to it, and I really like the smell! It doesn't stay on me as long as I would ike, but I enjoy the product so much that I can overlook that. (I was hooked the first time I sampled it!) It's very shiny, and I really love that. I'll certainly purchase this one again!

I love this gloss.. As is stated below, this is packaged similarly to Lancome Juicy Tubes, and has a similar consistency. The flavor of this stuff is amazing -- sort of cinnamint, but not sweet at all, just somehow spicy and cool at the same time! Great color, too.. very sheer, silvery pink. Perfect for Spring!

Ooo I love these. Grapefruit pulp is a shimmering burnt pink with mauve undertones. Decent amount of pigment yet still sheer. Their wand style glosses have more pigment if you are into that. Very similar in consistency and shine to the Lancome Juicy Tubes and they have same kind of applicator. Long lasting (for a gloss) and high shine. Must get more of these all the colors were just so pretty.
