I love this product!!
Bit pricey, but makes me feel like I'm "worth it".
You only need a tiny amount and the smell is gorgeous. Love this with the Clarisonic!!
Probably better for us oily/combo girls as it's intended to purify

I'm sorry but this stuff sucks. It leaves my skin feeling stripped and dry. I have cheaper cleansers that leave my face glowing, cleansed, and not stripped. This does not cut it, which is a shame considering it is 30 dollars. I will admit I was drawn to it due to it being Dior skincare.
I gave it two lippies because I did like that it suds up well and you only need a little bit.
I will be trying other cleansers from other brands.

So disappointed in this "cleanser". Although it has a lovely scent, it left my skin feeling dehydrated and gross. Not something I would ever recommend. Bummer, because their hydra life cream is top of the line. Bottom line is that I expected more from a $30 wash.

Cream-to-foam cleansers are my preferred type of cleanser, and this is a pretty good one. I typically use Clinique's Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove makeup at night followed by this to remove the last traces of the balm, then also use this in the morning in the shower. I find that it is very concentrated and foams very well (not as well at night, when it is used right after the balm, although I make every effort to rinse all the balm off before using). Since I don't use it alone to remove makeup, I can't really speak to whether it is an effective makeup remover, but I never have a trace of makeup left behind after using it. I have normal/combination skin that leans toward dry in the winter and slightly oily in the summer. Right now, it's pretty much dead normal, and I'm not having any issues with my skin being tight after using this. It's just clean and soft. I still need moisturizer, but I always use moisturizer.
Overall, a good product. I took one lippie off because I don't think it's the best in class for this type of cleanser (I still prefer Shiseido's White Lucent cleanser), but this one is a good, effective cleanser. The price is high at $30 until you take into account the fact that it only takes a pea-size amount to cover your entire face (and I am a notorious over-user of product), so this will last forever...much longer than less expensive alternatives that require much more product per use.

so-so product -- i picked this up at one of the designer shops at the airport because i realized i'd forgotten to pack my cleanser. as far as impulse buys go, not my best one. not to say it's a bad product, it's just ridiculously overpriced for how mediocre it is. i enjoy the white tea/floral scent, the packaging/squeeze bottle is lovely, and i like the texture of the product. it lathers nicely and feels light and smooth on my face. it's an effective makeup remover, i've never had any trouble with leftover foundation or mascara or anything, but the normal-to-oily label is for a GOOD reason. my skin's not particularly dry but my face still felt very tight and stripped and i really had to compensate with the moisturizing. overall it's okay but i wouldn't recommend it for the price.

This was my first Dior skincare purchase and I will not be back any time soon. It was not very good. It felt very cheap and it was kind of gross. Very sticky. Did not purify my skin, Left it very tight and dry and I have acne prone skin, so I usually have no problem with cleansers. returned it.

LOVE this cleanser! I used to use this as I have combo skin that gets so oily by mid-afternoon. I stopped using this because I was told a glycolic acid regimen would really benefit me. I guess I had forgotten how matte and clean my skin could be, because I dug out an old tube a week ago and my skin has been great again! I seriously forgot what a good cleanser should do. It really gives you that "squeaky" clean feeling without over drying. The smell is fabulous and it is a luxurious foaming cream that just makes you feel good using! I'm never leaving it again!
EDIT: love this with my clarisonic! Best cleanser ever!

This is my favorite cleanser. I have the newer version that comes in the green tube. I prefer a cleansing foam, as I have oily skin and I feel like it really works on my skin. The cleanser has white tea extract which fights free radicals and gives skin radiance. There is also Vitamin C and E and licorice derivative which help correct and protect . I find this is enough to remove most makeup that isn't too heavy (foundation, concealer, etc). It smells great too. I know some people are sensitive to fragrance. For me however, it's a pleasure. Great all around cleanser! It's pricey but worth it to me!

I have the newest version (the Magique Cleansing Foam) and I love it. It doesn`t leave a film on my face and it`s great for my oily skin. I use a cleansing oil to wash my makeup off first before using this as a follow-up cleanser. In the morning, I use this by itself and it makes me feel refreshed. The scent is so beautiful too, unlike my Avene face wash that changed its unscented scent to rotten eggs scent after a couple of months. I will try to gel version after I am done with this tube.

I own the newest version called "Creme Moussante Nettoyante Magique Rinse off Cleansing Foam.I belive that this is the only Dior(at least from the products that I own) product that performs as good as dior promises.Lathers up perfectly(and the lather is creamy not foamy which I like a lot)removes make up perfectly( even the most intense watrproof make up)after that skin feels super clear super fresh super rejuvenated super matte and not dry at all.Removes perfectly impurities and excess oils too.well done dior! The only reason that may not buy this product again is because mac cleansers performs equaly good but costs less

I have the newest version called "Creme Moussante Nettoyante Magique Rinse off Cleansing Foam", comes in a green tube & is elegantly packaged from the box to the shrink wrap it's encased with. Would make a excellent gift from the outside appearence alone. Cost $28.00 USD & worth every doggone penny of it!! Truthfully speaking there is no other reason to search for anything else. What is amazing is this is suppose to be for combination-oily skin types, but that's not true, this cleanser crosses all barriers for any skin type since it does not dry your skin out yet it leaves it perfectly clean & I am 53 yrs old, so what does that tell you? It is enriched with white tea which is heavenly to smell & the cleanser is a creamy foam & a little goes a long way. When I wear foundation as a rule I always use a makeup remover 1st, then follow up with this cleanser which does the job. I use my toner as a backup to make sure there is nothing left behind and as usual I find no residue of makeup on the cotton pad which tells me the cleansers have done their job. I guess you could use the cleanser alone to remove makeup but that is not my procedure. If you buy this you will not be disappointed. Christian Dior has made a real "Addict" out of me. I love their products, expensive yes, but I'm worth it!! continued >>

This facial cleanser is not worth a single penny. It smelled like pure perfume. Do you want to wash you face with perfume? - I don't. The ingredients are crap as well: "multi-vitamin complex" Are you kidding me? What vitamins? It's a CLEANSER!!! I was so stupid to buy this. Don't get me wrong, it's not about the money, it's about me being so credulous about cosmetics. I didn't throw it away, though. I used it to clean my toilet - not kidding! Did a good job there. I will never ever wash my skin with dior produts! That's for sure.

I got a whole full sized product for free of this from where I work (it was a retired, barely used tester) so I probably shouldn't complain too much considering I didn't spend any money on it. However, here is my review. I just started using this 2 days ago after I finished up my last cleanser from another brand. The biggest complaint I have thus far is the SMELL. It literally has a detergent smell, it smells pretty much like I'm cleaning my face with a bar soap like Lever 2000. With that kind of strong detergent-y smell, I can't help but suspect that this is really stripping the skin. My face hasn't particularly FELT stripped after using it, but we shall see over time. With the smell making it seem so much like regular bar soap, I don't really think this product is that great that it would warrant a high Dior price tag. I don't have the original packaging (outside box, if there was one) to be able to look at the ingredients to tell if its anything "special" and I can't speak specifically to how expensive it was, because I don't know.
A little product goes a long way though, and that's a plus. I made the mistake of putting too much product in my hand and got way more lather than I needed for my face, so I had to rinse several times. You really only need a dime sized squirt per use, as it lathers THAT well. Which is another reason I'm lead to believe there is quite a bit of detergent in it. The product says its for normal to oily (not dry) skin and I definately can see why that is so. So given that you don't need very much product per use, I can see slightly how the price tag would be almost justified if its lasting you a year or more. Still, what good is the product really if you're just washing your face with bar soap.
I am going to give this product a chance and keep using it as my regular cleanser for the next week or so. But I will likely shelf it and keep it for when I need something to use as a bodywash/cleanser for trips. Or I'll use it up quicker by using as my main body wash for now or use it to handwash my delicates such as my nylons and lingerie in the sink. Or, I'll just save it for a swap. But one way or another, I'll find an appropriate way to use it.
UPDATE 7-19-06: I just couldn't bear to keep using this on my face as a cleanser. The detergent smell was just too much. So I put it in my shower to use as a body cleanser. I hate to throw product away and I used it up quicker by using it in the shower on my body. But I wouldn't recommend spending the $$ on this product to use as a body cleanser as I was using it more in a "make it work" situation to avoid being wasteful. There are better body cleansers on the market. Even using it on my body and the detergent smell was strong. Used it a couple of times to shave my legs while taking a bath, not bad results. Would NOT recommend this product to anyone. I can't fathom how people could stand to put this on your face!

I'm using the new Dior Rinse-off Cleansing Foam for combo/oily skin. I haven't used a Dior cleanser for a very long time so I was eager to try its new line of cleansers. I picked this one instead of the cleanser for combo/normal gel because of its foaming ability, the gel doesn't do that. To my surprised, the rinse-off cleansing foam works better than its previous predecessor, it's gentle, has a lovely fragrance that is not too strong and it actually cleans the face well...although i would like it to foam up a bit more...gives it a feeling of cleaness. Although the cleaning ability is good, it can be a bit harsh for even oily skin because it can really strip everything off the face and makes it dry and tight afterwards. It takes time to get used to it...for me, it was about a week before my skin stopped feeling the tightness and dryness. Overall, it is a good product. However, if you have moisturizers and sunscreen on your face, u might want to use a stronger/better cleanser, because the rinse-off cleansing foam will not remove all of it off the face.

This is $37 CAD, 150ml. Personally, I love this cleanser. It leaves my skin really really clean after 1 wash. I love the unique smell cuz of the white tea properties. It smells like green tea, and the fragrance is very relaxing imho..:) The price is a little bit steep, but I hope this is longer lasting than my Shiseido purness cleanser. I used that up in like 3 months, and that costs 28 CAD every 3 months.

Love this product. Cost-$62.00 New Zealand. Will last for ages because you only need a tiny pea size amount. Doesnt cause any dryness or that dreaded tight face effect. Value for money. A winner ladies.

hey there,
well, this Cleansing Foam is quite good, but not great.
It contains astringent zinc combined with a softening, protective Hydra-Vitamin Complex. In my opinion, it is a normal cleanser. Moreover, I like the color of the foam. If it had been white, I would never have bought it, because I hate white cleansers, creams etc.
Conclusion: If you want a "normal" cleansing foam with a nice packaging buy this.

This really dried out my skin and caused flaky patches. I like the texture but this is just too harsh a product. Might work for someone with REALLY oily skin.
