Fantastic, Amazing, Wonderful!! I have used Angel Body Lotion for years, and with my last bottle purchased I noticed; the bottle is different, the colour is different and the description talks about some kind of advanced Perfume/Fragrance technology! The new formula smells fresher, closer to Angel EDP, the consistency is lighter, feels more "gel like" and spread so easily. I also like the new light, blue colour. I didn't even use my Angel EDP today...and I think the lotion smells better, is stronger (in a good way) and the lasting power is totally phenomenal!! Merci Thierry!!!!

I actually really like the original angel edp fragrance and thought this would be a no brainer to compliment it. The fragrance in this lotion is not at all like the original angel, there's something very metallic about it and it gave me an instant migraine that lasted all day. If you are considering this definitely get a sample to see how your body chemistry reacts to it. The bottle also leaves much to be desired, it just looks cheap in my opinion.

Well this is an interesting turn of events. I went to restock my Angel Body Lotion yesterday and came home empty-handed.

1) The lotion consistency and fragrance has been altered. The lotion now smells more like Eau de Star than the original Angel Lotion.

2) The new packaging is cheap, brittle, clear plastic, ugly, and difficult for me to wrap my small hand around.

3) The scent has changed and I don't like it. The packaging is beyond tacky and the kicker.... $70CAD plus taxes!

Needless to say, unless they bring back the original product, in the original packaging at the original price, I am never repurchasing this product ever again. continued >>

Awful!!! It starts out pretty nice, the scent really does smell like chocolate, but a rather bitter one; the entire composition reminds me more of cocoa powder, though. However, if chocolate had gender, this would certainly be a testosterone-pumped male of the worst kind. Within minutes after applying to my body it turns extremely masculine - downright manly. I guess it must be my body chemistry - but I can't stand it. While wearing it I became painfully aware of the male reeking... Luckily it was just a sample. No rebuy.

I agree with those who said the perfume is overwhelming...it is! It gives me an instant headache. The lotion...I adore. It's my favorite scent for fall. I love that it lasts all day with only a small amount. For my regular body lotion, I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter, so when mixed with the Angel, it smells delicious.

I'll add my thoughts on the body lotion. Like others have said the perfume is OVERWHELIMING. It definately lingers. However, the lotion is a softer and richer version. I wear the lotion (usually) without using the perfume. Long lasting and yummy.

The lotion is great, very rich and the scent is very true to the perfume, but it is just too strong. People can smell me from around the corner when I use this stuff. Also, the squeeze bottle doesn't really allow you to control how much you get out... it dispenses the same big dollop every time.

The scent is intoxicating! It lasts much longer than the perfume spray. Leaves my skin very soft and everyone just LOVES the scent!!!

I used to love Angel EDP - but lately I found the smell has changed on my skin - don't know why. While I'm not really crazy about Angel EDP anymore, I still loooovveee Angel lotion! I agree with previous reviewer that this last a long time & somehow smells fresher and not heavy! This probably the only item that I will keep on repurchase from Angel line. continued >>

I prefer the lotion to the EDP. I find it to be VERY moisturizing and extremely long lasting. I also find if I mix this with some unscented body lotion (such as Curel or Lubriderm) you get a lighter scent, more moisturization! Being a nurse, that's what I prefer to do work. I do NOT like the way the bottle goops a huge glob into your hand, though. Fairly expensive, but lasts soooo long and if you mix it, lasts even longer! I will repurchase.

Love it! I have been a fan of Angel for years and only recently tried the lotion. I think it smells even better than the perfume. Rich and deep, you can use this in lieu of the perfume and still smell wonderful..I have a tiny bottle received in the Christmas gift box, I'll be purchasing a larger one soon...

The lotion smells so much lighter than the perfume. I enjoy wearing this so much and I get so many compliments on it. You don't need a lot since a little bit goes a long way. My skin feels so smooth after I apply it.

My first experience smelling Angel was on a coworker. She wore so much of the stuff that you could always find her by sniffing and following the trail. It was overwhelming and smelled horrible, like a group of hippies having an ice cream social. I wrote it off instantly. But then I had a friend who was wearing something that smelled magically delicious. I asked what it was, she said it was Angel. I was shocked by how much I loved it. She said she only wore the lotion, the perfume was too strong. I agree, I picked up a bottle of lotion. It's lasted forever and I only need a tiny bit. I don't usually like strong scents and the key to this scent is to apply it subtly. A few dabs of lotion does it for me. It smells wonderful and I don't worry that I'm killing off the nasal membranes of those who I encounter. I get compliments on it all the time, including from a male friend who likes to grab my arm and just sniff it. I think it's a very sensual scent and one that I prefer it in the winter as it's generally too heavy for me in the summer.

Great moisturizer if you like the Angel perfume. A little goes a long way and the scent stays for hours. It's perfect to wear alone if you want a more subtle scent. If you like, not love, Angel and don't want to shell out for the perfume or edt then just buy the Body Lotion. I also like the packaging, it doesn't leak even if you hold it upside down. And the flip top is easy to use with one hand while you're busy applying it with the other, or when you're hands are slippery.

Angel is my absolute favourite fragrance but I don't find the scent of this lotion to be as true to Angel as some of the other products in the range.
As a body lotion it's good but not great, although the fragrance does linger. I would probably buy it again as anything Angel gets my vote!

I love Angel but sometimes the perfume is a bit much. This medium weight moisturizer leave enough scent on this skin without overwhelming you. It lasts a few hours on my skin. A good alternative if you like the smell but don't want to purchase the perfume.

True, this stuff is hard to get out of the bottle, but it is a beautiful bottle! It's medium in the moisturising part, and if you want more intense moisturising, use the body cream, it is luxuriously thick and lasts all day, moisture and scent wise! The scent seems to me, a bit sharper than the fragrance. continued >>

This is a nice lotion except I wish it were just a little more moisturizing. The scent lasts really long. I put just the lotion on one morning after my shower and then the next day when I woke up, I could still smell it on me. It was faint but it was still there, I couldn't believe it. This would be good for people who find the perfume too overpowering.
