This product is okay. I've had this for over a year now, but I have been using it more often lately. I love how it's not sticky. It's also easy to apply because of its package. On the other hand, it makes my face look very white/pale. Since I have tan skin, it doesn't look that well on me. It's also greasy so I still have to put powder after applying this on. After a few hours, I would reapply powder 'cause my face would look oily again.

This is a pure mineral sunblock which relies on titanium dioxide for protection. yes, it leaves a white cast at first. I put it on right after my face dries from the shower, and leave it to absorb for 5-10 mins while I get dressed, and the white cast vanishes. It does feel a bit heavy and greasy but that's what you get if you want to be sure you're protected, I guess. Other sunscreens on the market in Malaysia seem to be neglecting to give UVA protection. Some Olay products seem to be okay in that respect (e.g. Total Effects with UV protection, but not their whitening range) but they only go up to SPF 15. I may try something else in the future if I find something that is broad spectrum and also high SPF.

Skin Type:
Combination and acne prone.
I don't like this sunscreen, it makes my face so oily within an hour of application. I would not repurchase this unless i use this overseas in cold countries. I think it will suit those with normal to dry skin.

I've bought this product after reading a book based on beauty recommendation produced by an Taiwan artist. She so called herself 'the beauty king' and overall she is perfect in complexion. That's why i was prompted to buy the product. However it does not suit to our tropical climate here in Malaysia. The Fine Fairness UV block SPF 30 is quite sticky and my face shine immediately after applying. I can use the oil absorption paper upon applying the sunscreen. If you are in the air-conditioned room, you might not feel much. As my job requiring me sometimes expose to the sunlight, the product irks me much. I think my newly bought Bio-essence SPF 56 is much more better than Neutrogena. Though compared to Shiseido Ultimate Sunblock SPF 55+++, the absoption is a slight slower but it doesn't take 3 minutes to absorb into your skin. Plus more, the price is cheaper than Shiseido. I can buy 4 bottles of the 40ml Bio-essence to 1 bottle of Shiseido 100ml. It's worth the price.

This sunscreen is rather oily. I have oily skin, so it might be ok for people with dry skins.
NOTE: I realize that the concoction of active ingredients in this sunscreen are pretty good, protection against both UVA and UVB, and the percentage of the ingredients are commendable too. If you have dry skin, I'd urge you to give this a try. (It will feel oily because titanium dioxide is oil soluble. I guess it's the price you pay for ensuring that you are well protected aganst UVA AND UVB rays) I currently use this every day, on top of my Olay sunscreen/moisturiser. What can I say, I'm paranoid, haha.

I used a few bottles of this and even recommended it to my mom because it seems to offer a fairly high level of UV protection. However, I later realized that the 'fairness' effect that it was supposed to have probably meant the whitish cast it leaves on the skin. It is quite obvious and people would comment that my skin was very white. On top of that, it also made my skin really greasy by late morning, and I would have to blot my face about 3 times by late afternoon. I ended up using the rest on my arms.

Was told that this acts as both a moisturiser & sunscreen. Considering the former, i think it's matte enuff for my combination skin, unlike those of Loreal which I used to be loyal to for abt 2 years! Didn't give me any problems @ all & was told by a pal that my skin seemed less blotchy so I tot it was most probably this!(didn't change any products in my regime recently except sunscreen) Value for money coz its ard SGD 20.50 for a 100ml pump! Wow! continued >>

It's too oily for my combination skin and made me feel like pancake on my face. Then I quit.

Love it because it isn't greasy and it gives your skin a matte finish. Also like the pump dispenser. The only drawback is that if you don't spread it well, you end up with a white face.

I rated this "5" at the start of using this. But I think it's the culprit that's been causing breakout. I've not stopped breaking out with tiny whiteheads and zits for more than a week and I have not changed my skincare regimen. I'm stopping the use of this sunblock and check back on my rating. In the meantime, I'm re-rating this to "1".
