This product did notting to my skin. The second ingredient in this product is Alcohol, so obviously that is not good to be putting on your skin, especially if you have dry, or you use this product for anti - aging benefits. Actually it is never good to apply any amount of alcohol to your skin, even if you have oil control problems or acne. This product is very overpriced if alcohol is listed as the second ingredient, and I feel for the people who have been misleaded by this product, thinking that it is some how improving their skin condition.

Yuck. This serum made my skin breakout every single time I used it. Horrible. I finally returned it to the store. I use the "Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion" everyday and I absolutely love that. But this serum was a definite no-no for my skin.

Absolutely amazing product. I have never had a lot of problems with my skin but sometimes I get clogged pores on my chin and around my nose. I tried this product and within a couple weeks I noticed a HUGE difference. My clogged pores are going away. I have struggling since I was a teenager to get rid of that. It's amazing.
It is a bit pricey, but the reason for that is because it's a concentrated serum. A little goes a long way.
I just use a little in the morning before I moisturize.

Probably the product that makes the most amazing difference in my whole skincare/make up routine (and i use lots of products!) I use this every day, then follow with the aveda hydrating lotion. My skin has never looked or felt better since switching all my skincare to aveda. I am so happy i did. This product gives me the most amazing glow and skin texture really love it

This stuff is amazing! I love it and will definitely be repurchasing it. I know it's expensive but it's full of so many antioxidants that it's worth it. I like that I can use this night or day and it makes my skin very glowy and radiant. I have also found that since using this (combined with the rest of my skincare), I break out a lot less and I find that my skin is more even in overall tone. I love the consistency of this and you really only need one tiny pump for your entire face. I have mine for 8 months and I will probably need to repurchase in a month or so. This stuff lasts! I love it and it's great for all skin types. I just wish it wasn't in a glass bottle.

I am surprised at how much I love this product. Just two small drops covers your whole face, so although it isn't cheap, it should last a long time. The texture is at first a little odd...sort of slippery like egg whites...but it quickly sinks in to a matte finish. I have noticed a huge difference in the texture and softness of my skin, and my sunscreen applies so much smoother when layered over this product. Definitely improves the clarity of my skin. I also notice that my face doesn't get shiny over the course of the day when I use this product. The light fresh Aveda smell makes this a pleasure to use and the pump packaging is nice too.
I use this under my sunscreen in the morning and under my night moisturizer on evenings I don't use Renova. I love the way my skin feels since using this product and how it makes a nice, light, slightly mattifying primer before sunscreen. I don't wear foundation but I would imagine this would make a nicer primer before putting that on too.
Will definitely repurchase, this has become a must have in my skin care routine.

Contrary to what some others say, this product greatly improved the appearance of my skin. It helped absorb the oil in my t-zone which was a huge concern for me. After applying, I feel confident in not even wearing foundation or concealer. It feels a bit cool and thick or even sticky, but it dries within seconds and gives you an amazing soft finish, especially within the cheek region. I love this product, it's quite expensive though.

LOVE THIS SERUM! It tightens my pores, gives me a nice glow, and it is a nice prep for makeup applications. Definitely the best product from the tourmaline line.
It is a bit pricey. I was fortunate enough to get a student discount on it for going to an Aveda Institute, but since I've graduated I haven't had the expenses to buy this again, but when I do ... definitely need more of this serum.

I love this serum so much. I have tried a lot of skincare products and to me this is one of the best ones. I have oily skin and this serum sinks right in to the skin and it doesn't feel greasy at all. It does have a sticky feel at first but it goes away as soon as it sinks in to the skin. I love the packaging since the pump delivers just the right amount of product. One pump is enough for the whole face. It really does brighten and even my skin. It makes my skin smooth and clear and it glows. I have access to a lot of free skin care products and this is a product I've actually paid full price for it's that good on my skin. I use it morning and night. I follow with a moisturizer only if my skin feels like it needs it that day.

I think this masque is most impactful if not using the line. If you're using the products already, you won't see huge results. It's more of a small boost, if that makes sense. It's great at just giving skin an all over brightening or glow if that makes sense.

I liked this it is oil free which is great for my oily/ prone to ance skin I think its a great pick me up! I didnt think got better with use but its great before a night out as it brightners and makes your skin glow straight away. Am using something else at the moment but I would buy this again!

I've been using this for a year or 2 and I use this with the tourmaline lotion with SPF under my foundation. It took a bit to get used to putting something on my face besides lotion but I can't live without it.

didn't do anything that it was supposed to do....used it consistently for 3 months...will not buy again...

I have been using this product consistently for about 4 months. This does nothing for my skin. Aveda says that this is supposed to increase smoothness, reduce pore size and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. I didn't notice any of that. In fact, my pores look larger and my skin tone uneven whenever I use this. I will not repurchase.

This product did not do much for me, although I cannot say anything really bad about it. It just did not impress me. It takes some time to get used to the fact that it is a bit sticky.

I bought this out of desperation during a dreary winter day. My skin was in that awful end-of-winter stage, when it looks dry, dull and tired.
I've been using it twice a day, under my moisturizer, and I've noticed a huge difference! My skin is much more even and bright.
The product is a little strange at first — it's a liquid, but it has a slightly sticky, gluey consistency. That took some getting used to.
Aveda's website says tourmaline is a mineral that boosts skin's "energy." I don't know if it's the mineral, the sage (which calms redness) or the anti-oxidants, but my skin is happy and glowing!
It is pretty pricey ($37 for one fl. oz), but I think it's worth it. I've been so impressed with the results, I'd absolutely buy again.

When I first bought this I was so excited, but after using it for a couple weeks and no changes, I threw it in my makeup box and forgot about it. A few months ago I found it again and gave it another try. I did notice an improvement in the texture of my skin that I hadn't the first time, and I noticed a more radiant complexion although my boyfriend didn't notice a difference. After a while though, it stopped having any real benefit to my skin and it went back into the box.
This product is too expensive for the benefit and although the frosted glass bottle is pretty, the fluid gets stuck in the pump and dries to a gross yellowish brown flaky substance. I would not repurchase.

The product just didn't do too much for me. It sort of just sat on my skin and if it made me glow, it was an oily kind of a glow as opposed to a healthy one.

I received a sample of this product as part of a swap, and now I'm a convert! I noticed a difference in my complexion right away. The texture of my skin is smoother, the laugh lines near my eyes are no longer visible, and my scars and acne marks have faded quite a bit. I no longer have to wear as much foundation or concealor, and am looking forward to the day when I can wear just powder again.
I recently swapped for a full-sized bottle, and when I run out I will definitely purchase a new one! This is my new skincare HG!
