Okay, lord help me. I love this color because my inner ratchet can rejoice in colors for summer while I still look classy. it looks very expensive (it is, nars pricing is ridic) and lives up to expectations. I wouldn't wear it to the club (too dark) nor work (too bright) but somehow I still love it. its good for everything else where you will be seen. I was afraid it would be too 90s power tie color but the brightness complements my tan skin so well I look much more well rested.
btw you need lip liner because you will quickly cross the line from class to trash without it. just take the time.

Oooooeeee! I love the bright pink fuschia shade of this lipstick. Very J. Crew spring 2011(?). It is an eye-popping hot pink with decent staying power..... Matte as hell, so it may dry those little smackers up. I have always loved NARS lipsticks for some reason, and i believe this one would be a great addition to your collection. I will definitely repurchase this shade!!
I gave this a two just because the color isn't what I thought it would be. I'm sure it looks great on some but it's just not my color (which is why I would not repurchase). That said the quality is nice and the color goes on smoothly with a few swipes.
I really like this lipstick from all points of view, in particular I love the color, which personally is my perfect fuchsia. It 'a very intense fuchsia, darker than a shocking pink. The finish is bright and smooth and durability is very good.
If you have fair skin have no fear!

Wow, what a beautiful lipstick. It is FUCHSIA. I am usually pretty conservative with lipstick- usually a nice berry or a rose. Maybe I'll whip out a retro red. But this lipstick caught my eye and I actually thought to myself "I'll try this on just to see how wacky this looks." But to my surprise it was incredibly flattering to my fair, cool skintone. It goes on very satiny, but doesn't feel dry. It's a very cool color, but my two bridesmaids- one very fair with slightly golden undertones, and another with a little more olive skin- both wore it, and it looked great on both of them as well! For people like myself who might be a little scared to wear a bright shade, try this. You might be surprised!
An absolute staple. A bright colour that doesn't go on garish, and feels satiny rather than drying and matte or shiny and cheap. Really wearable.
Nars is my go to brand now for all things colorful...
Love love love this colour. This is one of the most versatile colours in my kit, and can be used for day or night. The staying power is great, and the packaging is absolutely stunning! I love how this shade is universally flattering, not only with skin tone, but with any type of outfit. It does slightly stain the lips after removal, although that doesn't particularly bother me all that much.
Worth it. The lipsticks in my opinion are one of NARS' best products.

*gasp* i love the packaging of Nars lipsticks and the range of color included in the line. The color I own and tested for a while before I bought it is Funny Face- a blue based fuschia. It is such a lovely color, the feeling is more of a satin (yet it stays on more of a matte). The problem is that it is so much more expensive than MAC lipsticks and stays on for SO much less. After about 10 or 15 minutes, the lipstick is already gone and remains more of a pink stain. I hate having to reapply lipstick and with this, I reapply it about 10 times throughout ONE HOUR. It is a pain and for the price, do not think its worth it.
Funny Face is my one and only fuchsia lipstick and it's HG status for me. It's matte yet not drying and it's also very long lasting. This is stunningly beautiful on my deep, warm complexion (NARS Syracuse). It goes well with MUFE 16c lipliner, which is typically what I use it with. As a reference point, it's deeper and more violet/purple than NARS Schiap. It's also less matte and more moisturizing than Schiap. Both are favorites of mine and I highly recommend them.

I am NC 43-44/ BB Golden, I was looking for a fuchsia lipstick last summer and ended up getting MAC's Lckable which is okay but somewhat bright on me- I always feel I have to tone it down and mix with a darker lipstick, lipgloss or pencil to keep it from looking clownish on me. I decided to try Funny Face even though I am not a huge fan of Nars lipsticks- never moisturizing enough for me and I usually don't pay over $20 for a lipstick- this is $24. But I like the color a lot when I tried it on.
FF is a mixture of fuchsia with a bit of red, it is darker on me,very wearable for daytime whereas Lickable would be more a night or weekend look for me. I paired FF with MAC's Viva Glam VI lipgloss for a little moisture and a tiny bit of sparkle and it seems to complement my skin well.
For women who do not want to wear a lipstick that screams PINK, this is a more subtle way to get that look IMHO.
UPDATE: I recently found out that this lipstick has one of the higher lead contents of lipsticks tested by the FDA, so I have discontinued wearing this. MAC lipsticks seem to have lower lead content so I went back to Lickable or may also try MAC Impassioned. more of a watermelon pink, this Spring. There are no FDA limits on lead in lipsticks but I am making a personal choice to try to use brands that scored lower in lead content. If they can make lead free paints, why not lead free lipsticks? Makes no sense to me.
SECOND UPDATE: I recently read a column in Prevention magazine that suggests that so little lipstick is ingested when we eat, lick our lips or other activities, that any lead that may be ingested is infinitesimal. The article also cited Canadian regulations (in the US the FDA does not regulate lead in cosmetics) that suggest the brands tested by the FDA had far less lead than their health standards allow and found they posed no problem. The one caveat is that higher lead lipsticks should be kept away from kids who are inclined to play dress-up since the lead standards for them are different and lead has a more detrimental effect on them.
I am still going back to Lickable
