I really love this fragrance, but it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. When I was shopping around, I wanted a fragrance that I could wear during the day, would smell sweet, and be very girly. This definitely fits the bill for me - it smells like warm vanilla and sugar (it doesn't smell like cotton candy on me like it has on others) and is a super feminine smell. It's not something that a sophisticated woman might wear, and I wouldn't wear it in the office, but it's a nice summery scent for younger women and quite affordable as far as fragrances go. For reference, the other main scents that I really like are Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy and Dior's Miss Dior.

I got a sample of this in the mail with an order from Nordstrom...and I'll definitely be buying this once I'm in the money. This smell is so comforting and sweet but not in a sickening way. Unless you go by the RuPaul definition of sickening. ( ; This smells like sugar and spun sugar and dryer sheets. This is that clean, sweet smell that I want my hair to smell like! I wish they made shampoo. Anyway, if girly, sweet, but understated fragrances are your schtick, I recommend this.

I bought the rollerball of this perfume at Sephora a while ago, and my best friend wears this perfume every day. While it's definitely not the worst scent out there, I'm taking off lippies because it's just so generic to me. It's sickeningly sweet, light, and girly. Literally liquid cotton candy. It smells like a lot of other younger scents, like anything by Britney Spears, for example. If you like sweet scents, definitely try it. You'll love it. It's not too expensive, you can find it pretty much everywhere, and there's a couple other variations of the scent in this line, so you can try those if you get bored. Also, I've noticed guys tend to like this scent, so maybe try it out for date night. I wear this every now and then if I specifically want to wear something really sweet. Otherwise, I stick to Versace Bright Crystal or Vera Wang Princess.

I initially received a sample of the Pink Sugar body wash with a purchase from Ulta. I honestly wasn't expecting much when I opened the package but I was entranced with the delicious fragrance. I had never heard of it, so I looked into it more, and ordered some samples of the perfume before I decided to go ahead and buy the bottle. I personally think this is a warm and sensual fragrance, I feel wonderful wearing it. I don't think it is the tacky cotton candy fragrance that others seem to describe it as. It starts out like a caramelized or toasted sugar smell, and then evolves into a creamy, almost powdery smell. It may not be for everyone, though.

Love this! Got samples of it and contemplating on buying the full size! It's really girly and I get compliments when I wear it! One of my guy friends even tried it himself! LOL

Love this.

Always have, always will. Such a fun, playful, cotton-candy, sweet perfume. It's a very fair price for such a lovely scent.

Aquolina's Pink Sugar is a pleasant, fun favorite of mine. I'm not a floral person, I love my vanilla scents and will also gravitate towards anything that drys down to my favorite vanilla. Pink Sugar does that for me in a musky way.
Top notes are bergamot, Sicilian orange, green nuance of fig leaves, middle notes are lily of the valley, liquorice blossom, and red fruits, and it drys down to vanilla, caramel, woodsy and musky notes. As with any fragrance, let its aroma waft through the air and don't let it's initial scent sway you. Wait a good 20 minutes before you decide how it interacts with your own body's chemicals. There are three phases to a fragrance. Delight in all of them. And if you enjoy them all? The fragrance is for you.
I spray Pink Sugar and it reminds me of going into a candle shop and finding just the right vanilla candle. Of opening the candle jar, smelling it and saying that's just the right one. It's not obnoxious to me or cloyingly sweet. It's light enough to wear year round. It transcends age. It's not a young girl's fragrance or a grandma's fragrance, either. If it suits you, it simply does.
After about 30 minutes I do smell the scent of licorice lightly on myself. But it's mixed with a very light muskiness of butter cream caramel vanilla. It has a good lasting power of 12 hours or more, and that's with one spray. I've used the Eau de Toilette and the Parfum.
Frankly, I think the name turns some people off because it sounds young and frivolous so they think it's not sophisticated enough to wear. I'm a firm believer in wearing what makes you feel good, smell good, feel cozy, feel sexy, or whatever you want your mood to be. It shouldn't matter what the price is, or who makes it. After all, are you wearing the label of the parfum on your neck? Or are you wearing a parfum simply to make yourself feel good and lift your spirits?

Pink Sugar is my guilty pleasure. I absolutely LOVE this perfume! It is such a fun fragrance, it puts me in such a great mood whenever I wear it. Cotton candy, vanilla, caramel & licorice.....yummy! Excellent staying power and sillage.

To all you people complaining this is a childish perfume, you need to lighten up! Its just a perfume for godsake. We don't all want to smell like bloody Youth Dew! continued >>

Yes it's a girlish fragrance, not really very grown up sexy woman, but, don't we all like to feel that way sometimes despite our age? I find it very appropriate for spring, easy to wear with pink polish and pink lipstick! Vanilla and caramel, long lasting and not very expensive. Nice to wear it a couple of times a week when you feel like flirting.
