I've been on a hunt for the perfect cleanser, which explains all my reviews on cleansers. IPSA is a line I re-discovered recently. It's quite under-rated but it actually has a good skincare range.
Anyway this Cleansing Moisture Gel is an oil-based gel that removes long wearing makeup and leaves skin dewy and moist. Actually this functions exactly like a cleansing oil. You apply with dry hands on dry skin, massaging gently to remove makeup. Emulsify with water until it's milky and then rinse off. Voila! Clean moist skin!
The thing I love most about this cleanser is that it removes waterproof makeup really well, yet is not oily or greasy. Was quite disappointed to find that this was oil-based as it just feels like a thickish gel. Rinses really well without any residue and doesn't seem to cause breakouts. I might repurchase as I really like it. However I'm still trying to find a good non-oil makeup remover that is gently and yet effective for waterproof mascara.
