Got this for 25% off + $1 off coupon, so came out to around $5. I've used the $3 elf primer as well, and I felt both did the same job. Actually, I like this one slightly better bc it is a bit less white than the elf primer I purchased in Sheer and it seemed to feel slightly less dryng. People probably rank this one low since the elf product is cheaper and very comparable. But if you find at the drugstore on sale, as I did, it's worth the purchase instead of having to purchase the elf product online + looking for coupon codes + waiting for delivery.

Simply put: does not work.
I saw no difference the first day so on day two I only used it on one eye. By lunch, there was no difference between my eye with L'oreal de-crease primer/shadow/power and my eye that only had shadow/ powder. I've been disappointed with all the L'oreal products I've bought over the past year and this was no exception.

worst eye primer i have ever used.i decided to try this one because i ran out of my $1.00 E.L.F. eye primer, so i just grabbed this one at my local walmart.but omg, its more $$ than the elf one ,n the E.L.F. eye primer works way better, it actually does its job unlike the l'Oreal decrease one.it makes my eyeshadow crease and my eyeliner too. So if your on a budget i suggest you try the $1.00 elf eye primer.it works as well as the urban decay primer potion and benefits stay dont stray eye primer which i tried before too.so no i do not recommend this to ANYONE! crappy eye primer!

I have bought this product twice; once a long time ago when I wasn't so much into makeup and didn't really grasp the purpose of what a eyeshadow primer is supposed to do. Now that I've been spoiled with TFSI and UDPP, it is really easy to spot a bad quality primer and this is one of them. I must admit I do love the packaging of this primer. I like how it is see through so you know exactly how much you have left, as opposed to the other primers out there were the packaging is not see through and you cannot tell how much is left. So that is a positive. I also like how smoothly it applies and that it neutralizes darkness/redness on the lids. Other than that, this product is not perform well. It does not perform its intended purpose, which is to prevent your eyeshadow from creasing and enhance wear time. I tried it first with my Smashbox eyeshadows for an 8 hour work shift and it did not hold up. By the time I got off work, my eye shadow had creased up badly. That has NEVER, and I emphasize never, has happened to me with the higher end primers. So, I decided to experiment my second time wearing it. I applied it with a Sigma eyeshadow base over the top of it, and those things work like nobody's business. I then applied my Sigma eyeshadows over the top. It didn't crease as badly as it did the first time, but it still creased :( So, it failed to perform with a badass base and it failed to perform with high end shadows. That is the ultimate test for me, and it proves to me that it is a poor quality primer. It sucks because I wanted it to work as well as it works for some people, especially since it's cheap and easily accessible at the drugstore but it was a fail for me.

Not sure why this product has so many bad reviews.

I used this today for the first time and it worked exactly as I had expected it too. I put on my eye shadow at about 8 this morning and took it off at about 3:50 this afternoon. It stayed in place and did not fade/crease.

I will be repurchasing once the bottle is gone.

Why didn't I find this sooner? Thank you to the adorable, knowledgeable SA at Walgreens who steered me towards this lil gem :) I have tried all other high end e/s bases and this is a combination of all the best things about all of them at 1/2 the price. I love the pearly color that immediately makes me look "awake" it is therefore one of the first makeup items I put on in the morning!

I had been trying to find a good primer for my oily lids. I have thick eyelids with a low crease and it makes it impossible for eyeshadows to stay on. I was looking for something help with my end of the day raccoon eyes since i wear a preety thick liner. This is a great job! It has a pearly white color to it which doubles this up as a shadow too. it brighten my tired eyes from waking up at 4 in the morning everyday!

I live in humid florida and my eyeliner smudges after about 5-4 hours. I used to have to reapply, but with De-crease, there's no need. I think this does a good job for the price I recommend to anyone with oily eyelids, thick eyelids, and monolids.

I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this yet. This is one of only TWO products I have purchased more than once. I have been using this primer for almost three years and I keep going back to it. Why? After only half of the people that try it recommend it? Because for me it works as good as any primer, even UDPP. But I take an extra step.

I have been layering this with NYX primer in skintone or white pearl for three years now. My eyeshadow DOES NOT BUDGE. I have fought wildfires and aside from me wiping my face with my glove and smearing ash/smoke residue on my face...my eyeshadow stays put. Would it be easier to buy one product and have it work as well? Absolutely. Have I found one? No. I will continue to layer. And with this around $10 and NYX around a few dollars...I save money over more expensive primers and get results I want.

This primer works for me. I have oily eyelids like everyone else, and prior to using this I just used foundation on my lids. It works reasonably well, a little better than foundation. What I really like about this though is that it evens out the complexion of my eyelids. I am very fair and tend to get purple and red around my eyes, which can make me look tired when I'm not. So, I have taken to wearing this on my eyes even when I'm not wearing any other makeup, just to even out my skin tone without the obvious-ness of foundation or concealer. It is supposed to be for all skin tones, though I don't see how this would work as well on darker complexions. I have never used UD primer potion, so I don't have a means of comparison, but for $8 I'm happy. I would like to try the elf primer next, though.

*update* After using this primer for a couple of days I am in LOVE! I sit here at almost 8 pm having done my makeup this morning around 7 am and my eye makeup looks flawless. No creasing or sliding or budging of my shadow or liner. I did use a bit of bb cream over my lid before priming with this product, but this has officially become a part of my makeup routine. HG!
