I love Sisley and this cream is really nice. However it's not amazing and I very much prefer Kiehls Ultra Facial which is much cheaper so I won't buy this again.
That beeing said I like this moisturizer. It sinks in really well which I like in the morning, when I'm doing my make up.
The jar is really pretty and looks good on the table, but to be honest I would chose Kiehls UFM any time

An average moisturizer, probably the best choice (among Sisley's products) for women in 30-40 age range with MIXED skin. It is soothing and gentle, but MATTE - not moisturizing enough for drier skins.
UPDATE, 4/25/2004: I had this cream in (a very cold!!!) winter 2003. and in cold & harsh climate it didn't seem moisturizing enough for my skin. I've tried it again these days in spring and warmer weather (found a small forgotten sample)and I can say that now this cream seems to me much richer. In fact it doesn't sink very well into the skin, it even leaves slightly emollient film which I don't like. But still it is not enough moisturizing, more emollient/soothing, though not too heavy or greasy. Anyway, I feel how my skin is still dehydrated underneath, in spite of emollient film on my T-zone.
Here is how Sisley web-site describes this cream: "An intensive day cream which works to stimulate, protect and moisturize skin over time. A combination of natural plant extracts and essential oils (Centella Asiatica, Juniper, Marjoram, Rhatany, Sage, Shea) help Intensive Day Cream to firm up, protect and stimulate the skin.
It suits all skin types. For dry skin, apply Ecological Compound beforehand.
For dehydrated and tired skin, the action of Intensive Day Cream can be dramatically enchanced by using Hydra-Flash Formule Intensive (to be applied over Intensive Day Cream)".
Well, not a bad cream, but it's not what I need.

UPDATE 2/2/05 I stopped taking medication and my skin is now oily as hell...I tried it again and it works way better.
I used a sample and it indeed sinks in very easily, which must attract to people with oily skin/t-zone problems. Problem is that it doesn't moisturize enough for me. It leaves a lot of dry areas in my face and for that I don't like it very much. Kind of strange because it is meant for older women, who tend to have drier skin (in general).

It's nice but not special as it needs to be at this price. It did nothing bad in any way - no irritation but I won't spend on any more.

This is a pleasant, light, fluffy moisturiser, with a light floral scent, that sinks in easily. So easily that I found myself applying handfuls of the stuff to feel any effect. Nice enough, but to be honest no better than Neutrogena, and ten times the price. Not worth it for me.

I was skeptical at first, since it's a cream, as i had slightly oily t-zone, but boy.... this one is GOOD. it absorbs very well into my skin and is not oily at all, and after one week of use, i'm very pleased with it. i got a 4g sample of it, and it lasted me for about 10 days, so a little goes a long way. Usual price is Singapore Dollars 258 for 50ml.
