I didnt see any results using this mask. I felt like it clogged my pores and didnt rinse clean enough. While I like marios cleansers , moisturizers and some spot treatments, this mask was a dissapointment.
for reference I have combo, sensitive, skin with large pores and hormonal breakouts.
Dont reccomend this.

This product is the BOMB!!! I have normal-combo skin, and it does everything I want it to...brightens my skin, refines the pores, evens out the texture. It smells great and is not too drying...you can keep it on forever. This is my HG mask I use twice a week! If I want an immediate pick me up before a party, I will grab my Temporary Lifting mask, but that is too drying to use often. This is the perfect mask, I will never stop using it!!

Alrighty so I got the sample of this from MB and it's actually last me quite long. Anyway I have combo skin:normal - oily. I use this all over my cleansed face leave it on for 10 mins or sometimes longer. I find after using this my pores look cleaner and my skin looks brighter. It's not a miracle worker but it does a good job. I use this once a week because I'm just too lazy to use it twice a week. But If I did use it twice a week the affects would probably last longer. Smells great: like oranges.

Meh, nothing special. Stung a little at first. Smells like oranges, that's a plus, but it left A LOT of residue on my face. Felt like I rubbed chalky glue on my face.I hate that feeling. I like my masks to wash clean away.
This may be for some gals, just not for me.

I chose a free sample of this mask with a recent order. I looked forward to trying it out for the "purifying and tightening" effect on pores that it advertised.

My overall experience using this mask was very disappointing. The smell of this mask was good, but not extraordinary. Upon applying, I experienced a slightly uncomfortable spicy burning/tingly feeling. I thought maybe this was just an effect of the mask doing its magic, and left it on for the full suggested amount of time.

When I removed the mask, instead of my skin looking refreshed, I had flaky dry skin and small red irritated bumps on my face! I thought ok... maybe it was because I used this mask after another cleanser. I tried it a second time a few days later, and got flaky dry skin all along my forehead that lasted for a couple of days even after moisturizing. Also, my pores didn't look at all "purified or tightened" with either use.

As someone else mentioned, I did feel a film residue from this mask on my hands after I applied it, but I didn't feel a residue on my face after removing it.

I have used other combination/oily skin products from Mario Badescu that worked well and did not have this effect. I'm glad I got to try this product for free because I would never purchase this product.

Smells so good. Natural smelling, not fake smelling. Doesn't dry your skin out. Leaves it smooth and blackhead free. Whats not to love?

This was a nice mask that calmed redness, soothed the skin and made my face really smooth and soft. I didn't find it to be all that amazing though, so I will probably stick to my other star masks. Like other reviewers wrote, it does not wash off completely even with a foaming cleanser. I have to wipe down with a muslin cloth which is fine, but just needs to be noted.

I bought it after reading all the good reviews about it, however, it does not work for my skin. I have combo skin and I only used it on T-zone area since this mask is for oily skin. It goes on easy and the smell is pleasant. but I did not feel it helps my skin, and every time I rinse it off, my face has a strange film feeling that I absolutely dislike.

This mask stopped working...
I have very very oily skin and my routine is cleansing with an exfoliating cloth (Mario Badescu anti-acne cleanser) then follow by a mask. My Mario Badescu Orange Tonic mask just stopped working today!!! I don't know why!!! After 10 mins in the shower I rinsed my face and OUCH my skin felt very greasy... It's horrible, I washed my face again with Mario Badescu cleanser -> still greasy, I washed again with Estee Lauder -> still greasy...
I normally have those little white things in my pores after cleansing and sometimes I even scratch my face to get those out but nth worked...
And today after 3-4 times cleansing and that MB mask the white stuff were so visible I felt horrified about my skin. Then I got out of the shower put LUSH Brazened Honey mask on and sit still for 10 mins. I used the exfoliating cloth to wash off the mask and after that ... WOW my skin is extremely clean... never got such good result! All the white stuff disappeared... continued >>

update: it's not great. smells good but again expensive. also didn't feel much difference now.

OMG!!! This is my favorite mask so far from Mario Badescu, I used it today after receiving a sample. Its so great on your skin, calms it and your pores look great afterwards. And little zits were gone. Its not runny, its actually quite thick. The smell is barely there at all, I can only smell it if I almost shove my nose in the jar. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I use this mask when my face needs a little something more than regular cleansing and moisturizing. It gently cleans out pores and refreshens my face. My skin feels smoother and is less prone to blackheads when I use this on a regular basis. Will definately buy again.
Edit: Dried up really quickly in the jar and threw out most of it after a few months. Using it regularly was too harsh for my skin.

This is one of the best masks I've ever tried. The orange/citrus smell is light and refreshing, not at all overpowering. The mask itself goes on as a white liquid, not a thick hard-to-spread clay. Leave it on 15 minutes or so and rinse - and it rinses off easily and completely. While it tones and tightens, you never feel like your face is going to crack. You can actually have a conversation with it on, LOL. It's a part of my MB skin care regimen now - they had recommended the Strawberry mask to me, but Orange Tonic is gentler and workds perfectly with my combination skin.

Absolutely a must-have for me. Whenever I'm feeling like my face needs some TLC, this is what I reach for. The scent is pleasant and not chemicall-y and my skin feels soft and smooth when I rinse it off. And it comes off easily--so many masks I have tried were IMPOSSIBLE to get off, but not this one. It goes on easy and comes off easy. I know it's definitely been a part of what's helped my skin get its act together recently. Will definitely repurchase.

I've tried this mask a few times now, and the orange scent is just so refreshing. The mask itself dries on after a light application, but once it's removed with warm water, my face feels soft and smooth. Not at all tightening, so it's perfect for when my skin is in need of some TLC after harsher treatments (I'm oily/acne prone). Prefer this to the strawberry mask, for when i'm going for the fruitier flavors.

I received a sample of this...and wow! This smells so good. Exactly what you would think orange tonic would smell like. The directions that came with it are to use twice a week, leave on 10-15 minutes and wash with lukewarm water. It's very easy and really leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean. I love this and will definitely be purchasing it.
