Neiges Bleues should appeal to those who like ultra-sweet fragrances; unfortunately, I am not one of them. This scent has a fruity opening (mandarin?) and then the main notes I can smell are lily and heliotrope. I have never yet found a scent with heliotrope that I like and this is no exception. It is almost sickly sweet here and mixed with musk and amber. If there are other floral notes, the heliotrope drowns them. Not one for me.
I test-drove this at LD today: The Packaging is like the original in shape, but is an opaque blue. Neiges Bleues has a crisp aquatic top note similar to My Ocean/Cool Water, which dries down to a clove/peppery midnote with some sandalwood, and the base note is a powdery note very similar to the original Neiges. I found this perfume had a very short half-life(1 hr from top to base), which, considering it's $60CAD, one would desire a little more staying power.
