At first I was somewhat skeptical of its cleansing ability because of its runny consistency and rather airy foam (as opposed to thick and rich). However, since I do enjoy the texture of airy foams and I liked the fresh feeling and moderate hydration this gave me, I continued to use it... and for the first time tonight, I tried using this product to remove makeup without using cleansing oil first, and was totally surprised at how effective the seemingly "weak" foam was for removing the makeup. I was wearing a rather thick layer of powder foundation and this removed ALL of it in just one step! I always found that I needed to cleanse twice to remove makeup unless I was using cleansing oil, but with this I only needed to cleanse once. This really is a gentle, non-drying, AND effective cleanser at an affordable price. Too bad CCB-Paris seems to be discontinuing the whole Aqua line.

Love: the packaging and feel of this cleanser. Cleanses well, removing makeup and schmutz with no residue. Hate: the OVERPOWERING scent. And I like fragrant products! It is most certainly not "fruity" like the catalog claims, it smells more like an old-lady perfume, musty and unsophisticated. A disappointing surprise and definitely out of line with the other Cosmence products I've tried.

Probably not strong enough to combat my oiliness, but for moderately oily to combo skins, this would be a great choice. Normal skins not prone to tightness would like it also. I didn't mind the scent, but I need something a little more hardcore.

Pro: great packaging-love the pump idea, foamed up decently, OK smell; Con:left my face feeling not as clean as I like, customer service at CCB is terrible. I will probably use this as a first thing in the morning cleanser but after its gone, I wont be buying more (customer service is THAT bad).

After using this product for about a year on my combination skin, I found it to be gentle yet effective in removing dirt and oil without overdrying my skin (a plus during the winter). The product makes my face feel wonderfully smooth (like I just exfoliated my skin) while I cleanse my skin. I also like the gentle grapefruit-apple scent.
