I have oily skin, and this "gel" makes my skin look shiny and greasy - not the grease of oil, but not the look I want all the same. I guess I will keep looking!! Good sun protection factor ( mine is the 30 SPF, but I suppose all the protection levels have this problem ), which is why I gave it a 3.

I bought this while living overseas, because I had remembered reading that this brand made some great sunscreens. Well, I didn't choose as wisely as I could have; it was far too shiny and greasy looking, and it also made me break out (to be fair, I have acne-prone skin, so it is not as though this *never* happens with products). Now I am moving back and I will get some of the XL Fluide Extreme, and hope this works better for me!

I recently got this while travelling abroad. It's easier to apply than DDF Matte sunscreen and Neutrogena Dry-touch, contains Mexoril (not available in US sunscreens as far as I know) and it has not broken me out at all.
BUT, it does leave a shiny finish to the face. I don't have oily skin, but this sunscreen makes it seem like I do.
I really liked it, except for the shiny finish. I'll only repurchase if they can find a way to cut down on the shine-effect.

I have tried probably 20 different mexoryl-based products either at home or in the store and think this is one of the two that I would use on my face on a daily basis. It does sink in well and is not *as* greasy as others but leaves a slight sheen which can be easily covered by powder. It is actually not a bad base for makeup. The best part is that once it is dry, it does not rub off as the Vichy ones I have tried. I purchased this in Belgium for Euro 12 ($14).
