    I loved the original fragrance and I love silver rain just as much. Both are very good choices.

    This was up until recently the most special perfume I have encountered, it was my signature scent. Something about the way osmanthus was used made it especially unusual and vibrant...the packaging was also beautiful and elegant and the staying power on me excellent. I wore it for years until it was recently discontinued, I have not been able to find out why. But good news perhaps for La Prairie fans: in March 2005 "Silver Rain" will be launched--it promises to be as exquisite and unique, I'm waiting with bated breath :)
