This appears to be an opague purple-maroon in the pot, but don't be deceived. On bare lips, it proves to be more brownish glaze. Rather disappointing, actually.
When paired with red lipstick, it creates a very alluring vampy look. I pondered keeping it around to apply for days when I wanted to more gothic fotd, but it's lasting power makes it useless even as a color-enhancer.
If you even so much as blink a little too hard, this stuff will vanish.
No on this one.
(Mine is called Ravin' Red and it's a pot-style container, so not sure it's the same but just in case.) I picked this up on a whim for a buck or two, and it's ok. Not the best but not the worst either. It goes on a lot more brown than I expected so it's really more of a dark warm brown-red than a straight red. Even when first opened and new, it smells faintly of crayons which isn't great, but once on I don't notice it (and no taste, thankfully). Fairly thick without being goopy or overly sticky and IMO looks and wears best sheered out over a clear balm or gloss, otherwise it can be a bit uneven in spots, especially if you lips are at all chapped.
