This product gave me a nasty local skin reaction. After having it on for a few minutes, I started feeling a burning sensation on my skin, but essentially ignored it, thinking it was "just the mask doing it's job". When I finally rinsed it off 5 minutes later, the areas of my face that had been covered with the mask were beet red. I've used my fair share of skin care products and cosmetics, and have never reacted to anything before. It must have been one of its many obscure natural ingredients :(

I like this, feels natural and cleansing, makes me feel fresh not dried out but isn't pore clogging.

Comes in a pump bottle, which is nice...more sanitary/less mess. Gel-like consistency...very smooth on application, not at all gritty. Brownish-pink color so you can see how much you're applying. Smells like earth...potting soil? and something herbal/slightly minty. Feels very cool on the skin (I checked the ingredients and there's no sign of any menthol or camphor in the ingredients, but there's mention of "therapeutic oil blend", so perhaps there is some peppermint in this). This DOES dry down, but no so much that your skin feels tight - has a matte finish when it's ready to be rinsed off. Rinsing....this mask is not that easy to remove - definitely need a washcloth or a cotton pad to wipe it off completely. I'm concerned that this may stain the skin if you have large pores. I had to use a toner afterwards to remove all the color on my skin. Interesting product, but a bit of a hassle...don't think I'll repurchase.

This is my new favorite mask!! I have been using it with the Osea Ocean Cleansing Mudd to control oil and clear up my t-zone acne. It's not drying so it leaves skin moist. They suggest I use it in the shower for even just a few minute while shaving which I have been doing. Definetly 2 thumbs up!
