I bought this in the Jelly Peach shade. It looks scary orange in the tube, but it goes on like a semi-sheer lollipop peachy color with a little bit of shimmer, not a pale pastel or an apricot color. It's kind of a unique color, & actually just about the shade I had been looking for. The finish is certainly shiny, but I wouldn't call it like "jelly" or a gloss. I find it hydrating, not drying like some have, but no more so than most lipsticks. The texture reminds me a little of Clinique's Almost Lipstick -- not a true lipstick, but not really a gloss either. Although Clinique does have a sleek, silver case for theirs. This one is made of plastic. I don't love this item, but I do like it quite a bit, especially for a shade like this that I couldn't find in ANY other lipstick or gloss line. (Agnes B. does come up with some original colors in her makeup line.) Admittedly, it is very small, .05 oz. Most lipsticks average around .15 oz., so it's about three times smaller. I paid $7 for it at 50% off. I would repurchase this, but only in a unique shade that I can't find elsewhere. Also, because of the size I wouldn't pay any more than that price. continued >>

UGH! I agree 100% with ECMac25's review below, word for word. HYDRA? Ha! JELLY? How on earth can they use THAT word in the name?! I was SO disappointed in this! It's drying and ultra- glittery. I was under the impression it would be glossy and iridescent, not the flat, tacky frosted look. The color isn't what I expected either....hazelnut. Instead of a soft beigey color it's more of an orange. I don't know how I'm going to make this work. *SIGH* Maybe I can use it with a gloss or something. It was "free" with my first CCB-Paris order (and the tiniest lipstick I've ever seen) but I wish I had chosen something else as my free product. :( If you are looking for a soft, shiny gloss, don't order this POS. Oh I'm so disappointed. Whaaaa!

I use the Hydra Jelly as a "filler" after I line my lips with a darker shade pencil. The Jelly Pearl Beige seems to be a lovely filler no matter what color you select as a lip liner. I agree that it doesn't have the best staying power but if you use more permanent pencil to line your lips first, it's easy to re-apply the hydra jelly as a filler throughout the day or evening. I love the moisturizing effect and it gives my lips just enough "sparkle" and shine.

I got this free with a purchase. The color is jelly rose, which I like. However, the staying power is much poorer than other lip sticks and even glosses, and I do not see myself using this much or ever buying it again.

item # 502906 Hydra Jelly Sparkle - Color: Jelly pearl beige
This product is small but cute. Doesn't have decent staying power but it's very moisturizing and I love the sparkle.

I bought Jelly Rose and was unimpressed with the quality, shine, and staying power. Tube was small for the price. There are a lot better glosses out there. Will not repurchase.

I bought hazelnut. it's a fairly pretty color. the only major complaint I have is that it made my lips look flaky and chapped. I normally do not have chapped lips, so I am not sure why it did this. I thought maybe it was the color, so I may try another color, one that is darker. But overall, this is a decent lipstick, however I would never pay full price for it.

I got this in Lychee. The tube is ridiculously small for the price. However, it goes on very smooth and moisturizing. It leaves a slight shimmer.

I have this in black currant. It has a good texture and stays pretty well. I'm just not happy with the color. It looks nice in the swatches and in the tube but it just goes on very bright. it turns out a bright/Pinkish berry color.

I just got another tube of this in Jelly Cherry. The colour is a beautiful sheer red with just a hint of pink and shimmer and it looks really pretty however I found this shade to not last as long as the Jelly Rose (see my review below) and seemed to sort of dry out my lips. It gets 3 lippies just for the colour but otherwise I wasn't to pleased in this shade.

I really love this lipstick/gloss product. I think it is perfect for every day wear, so that's how I use it. It doesn't offer 16 hour wear or transfer-resistant yadda yadda, it's just a nice light lipstick that's good for adding a bit of color and shine. My favorite color is Hazelnut, but I plan to try some of the others.

I enjoyed this product for the most part...I bought this in Jelly Rose; a light berry color. The shine was terrific, but not long-lasting. At $14 quite pricey for what you recieve...but take advantage of CCB-paris's deals...I was surprised at what a small amount was given, but I do like the range of colors.
Just got Jelly Cherry, a sheer bright red. Such a wearable red.

i was disappointed in the hydra jelly. i tried it in jelly peach (a color i don't see on the ccb-paris website now) using their "your most expensive item free" deal (a fantastic offer), but swapped it almost immediately cause the color in tube was an irritatingly brilliant orange-peach, the color on the lips was unremarkable, and the shine was nothing special... overall a surprisingly dull little lippie for me. it may wear v. well as it says, i just didn't bother keeping it on that long.

Bought this recently on sale in Cherry. Nice moist stain - not as sheer as I would have liked. Pink plastic packaging for $14 is very small in size (a thin short tube) and looks like a cheap teenage brand. It was not worth more than the $7 I paid - I would re-order for same price.

Wonderful, especially for a young, fresh look. I got the color Jelly peach and it is a pinky-reddish-peachy lollipop stain with a little shimmer. It's glossy but not overly so. The packaging is adorable. A very pretty look.

I really love this! It comes in a slimline silvery pink tube (very cute). I decided to try the colour Jelly Rose because it looked so beautiful in the catalog and thankfully (for once) was everything I expected. The colour is a wonderful light rose with tons of gold shimmer, the shimmer is not overwhelming and the colour is very natural and pretty. It has no scent or taste and the texture is perfect, I forget I am wearing it. Like they said it does have a 'Jelly like shine' and it lasts very well.
