An awesome clarifying conditioner that I use once a week or twice a month- whenever my hair has too much product build up. I was using ACV to clarify but it really tangles my hair too much. My hair and scalp feel really clean and refreshed after using this product. I cowash 2-3 times a week, so I was happy to discover that vo5 makes a clarifying conditioner since I'm a cowasher.
Finally jumped on the co-wash bandwagon and I am so happy I did the switch, took my hair about a week to fell o.k with that change and so far it's been about a month, my hair has never looked better, I've tried every shampoo out there, my hair was super damaged and now it feels like super silky virgin hair, a true miracle! Only con is that I have to use quite a bit of product since I have bra strap length hair.
Changed my review because my hair started to fall off like crazy and it grew very little in a period of a month.
I would not recommend this for use as a regular conditioner, but for co-washing, this is perfect for me! My hair is very fine with oily roots and slightly dry ends. I first tried the Suave Clarifying Conditioner as a co-wash, but even that left my hair pretty greasy by the next day. So then I tried this and it is perfect! It leaves my hair clean, shiny, and bouncy! Even the next day, my hair is still not greasy (which is something I have never experienced, even with regular shampoo/conditioner). You can get a bottle for under $1, so you have nothing to lose!

My hair is very short and doesn't need a whole lot of conditioning. I use this and the accompanying shampoo daily and I am happy with the results. I wouldn't recommend the other Vo5 products, just the clarifying shampoo and conditioner. This also comes in a family size bottle with a pump. The smells i pretty nice, nothing special.
I've had this for months and never really used it. I decided to cowash for 30 days using no cone cheapies and WEN. One day I put a stinky sulfur mix in my hair and was trying to wash it out. I tried WEN but my hair didn't feel clean. So I dumped a bunch of Kiwi Lime on my hair and scrubbed and scrubbed. It worked! When I rinsed, my hair felt light and clean, not coated like with WEN. Don't get me wrong, I love my WEN, but I don't feel like it cleans my scalp or hair well. I use my WEN for moisture and VO5 to clean.
For a $1 or less, this stuff is amazing! Honestly before I thought the hype over these were overrated. Now that I know how to use it, it really works!

Trying to save money, I cut back on my beauty products, but I don't want to get to the point where the results look cheap as well. Vo5 has proven to be an extremely cheap conditioner where the quality was just as good for me as any of the other conditioners I've used. And with other conditioners running anywhere from $5 to...well, many, many more dollars, this one at only 78 cents (at time of writing) is definitely welcomed!
Method: I apply it for as long as possible. I have very long hair, so I apply about 2-3 tablespoons, evenly coated over the ends of my hair (from the neck down, to be precise). I prefer to not apply it to my scalp, since no matter what I do, I have an oily scalp if I do this. If I'm short on time, I start it in the shower (usually on dry or damp hair) and rinse it off last. Otherwise, I've left it on for hours.
Results: Healthy, shiny hair. The watery texture of the conditioner is a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, unlike gooier, stickier conditioners, it spreads easier so you need less of it. On the down side, sometimes it pours fast out of the bottle, so you run out faster. A little caution, and this shouldn't really be an issue. The Kiwi and Lime Squeeze Clarifying Conditioner is a nice blend of lightly cleansing, definitely nourishing, and pleasant scented (very mild, if you're sensitive to that sort of thing). Running between the before mentioned 78 cents and $1.30 for 15 oz, it's great on a budget without sacrificing quality.
Side note: I must be the only person who didn't know it wasn't just called "Vo5", but Alberto Vo5. The more you know.

Love this conditioner! Gives the perfect amount of slip and is very lightweight. The smell is also sweet - nice and light. I'd definitely repurchase!
EDIT 04/30/2012: I took a lippie off because I finally determined what was making my upper back break out. This conditioner! I can still use the matching shampoo just fine, though. Beware for those of you prone to bacne!

Smells decent, not overly sweet, which I like. I like fruity but not sugary gaggy sweet fruity. I think the Suave Clarifying is much better for deep cleaning but I pick this up every once in awhile when I'm bored.
This conditioner is a staple. I use it for co-washing my 4a hair of medium thickness. It does a good job of clearing away gunk between shampoos. Have and will continue to repurchase over and over.

I've used this off and on for years with the clarifying shampoo. It doesn't weigh my hair down after clarifying. If you need light moisture (as in hardly any) this is perfect. With a little leave in conditioner it is great for summer days. I'm sure if I didn't get bored easily I would repurchase this since I just ran out but I want to try Neutrogena Clean to see if it can replace my clarifying shampoo/conditioner and my volumizing shampoo/conditioner (Nexxus). Either way, I'm sure at some point in my life I'll repurchase this. At $1 it's hard to beat.
