I searched MUA for whitening products hoping to lighten post acne marks on my face and came across POLA 1/f series reviews. I bought the whitissimmo cleanser, 1/f toner and 1/f moisturizer and started using them last night and this morning. I don't know if it's my imagination but my face definitely looks brighter than usual today. I have used alot of whitening/fading products in my lifetime and I don't imagine brightening effects as the products usually don't give me brightening effects in a day unless it contains hydroquinone. My makeup is also looking really smooth today. I hope this keeps working and lightens my marks over the next few weeks! I like the smoothness of the cleanser, and the toner doesn't sting my face either, the moisturizer like another reviewer says, a little provides really sufficient hydration even with my Benzac usage! No redness caused so far. Will edit again to update after prolong use.

This product is of decent quality with a pleasant, light, and powdery smell. However, I would define it as somewhat watery. It is the reason for not buying it again. At the same time it can be suitable as a moisturizer for summer.

I used this before I used Whitissimo--great value for such a great product! This is great for people with patches of dark skin (like with oral contraceptives) or freckles. It's also great for oily skin like mine as a skincare product too. nice stuff.

I just started using this and so far it has proved itself to be a pretty good moisturizer and skin brightener. I use it at night time and its light texture doesn't prevent it from giving me a good hydration. The only pet peeve I have about it is that it has mineral oil in it and I wish I knew that before I purchased it online. Well, if it breaks me out, I'll edit this.

This moisturizer is great because it is so light in texture yet actually moisturizes. I would love it if all moisturizers had this kind of texture. Together with the wash and the toner, it has seriously lightened up my complexion in less than a week. Amazing stuff.

A wonderful mua'er was kind enough to send me a sample of this product b/c we share similar skin. I have been using it for one week following 2 months of Dr. Brandts C cream. So far there may be a possibility i like this better. But hopefully they both have their place. Either way, i like the glow this one gives upon application. I have yet to see my marks fade, but i am ever hopeful. Infact, i have been piling this stuff on day and night and not one clogged pore as a result. That is good stuff. No scent, zero grease, feels great, wears great. And costs less than Dr. Brandts C cream. Nice!

Wow! Another Great Pola product! I have sensitive/Normal skin, and I really don't *have* to use moisturizer. I do like to use just a tiny bit, so my makeup can go on smoothly. This does the job beautifully! Give me skin just enough moisture to sink in quickly and doesn't turn my cheeks red and blotchy (which most facial mosturizers do). I only use alittle bit at a time, so a bottle of this will last a long time. I think that it's really worth the investment! Between this and Dream's Sensitive Skin Lotion, I have found my perfect matches!

Well, I find this moisturizer is pretty ok as compared to the Botanex range I had used previously. I like the fragrance and it absorbs into the skin pretty fast.

Over a period of two weeks, I used 2 sample vials and one sample packet of this product. It did nothing bad to my sensitive/combo skin, but I didn't notice any brightening or whitening, either. It left a similar smooth finish to my usual EL Idealist, but left my t-zone oilier. Not impressed enough to buy.

The 1/f line is designed to make skin brighter and clearer while also lightening discolorations and freckles. It contains a more stable form of Vitamin C and other extracts to inhibit melanin and improve the skin's texture. After reading the rave reviews at WtFexclaiming that results are visible after the first use, I had to try it. Being the skeptic that I am, I ordered two samples sets (enough for over a week of testing), but amazingly, I too saw brighter skin after the first use. And after three days, my skin is glowing and those infuriating blemish scars that were taking forever to fade with Rx products are vanishing before my eyes. I ordered the full sized product after sampling it for only three days (actually I knew that I wanted it after the first day).
According to WtF, "This lightweight moisturizer, used after 1/f White Lotion (toner), helps to even skin tone while providing light hydration. Botanical sphingolipids, with molecular composition very similar to the skin's outer layer, leave a matte finish while supplying moisture. Regular use will help to balance sebum and reduce oily shine." Well, I don't know about the technical stuff, but this is a wonderful moisturizer that is truly light yet actually moisturizes without leaving me greasy or breaking me out in tiny bumps. You need just the tiniest amount, not even dime-sized, to moisturize your whole face, or you can simply apply it to certain dry spots if you have them. $40 for 3.3 oz., but as with the whole 1/f line, it will last a long time.
